1. Location: Located beside Duren Kalibata. The place is on the outskirts of Jakarta Town area. Very challenging to get private hire drivers due to the roads nearby the hotel being heavy. Train rides can be an experience as it will be packed at almost every time slot, especially the weekends. 2. Service: Reception - Okay, not a wow. Check in was acceptable. They are pretty strict about check in/out time. Cannot check in earlier than 2pm, and cannot requests for late check out. Latest check out 12pm Checking out was a bit unpleasant. Despite queuing, the staff prefers to entertain those patrons who did not queue. Restaurant staff (breakfast) super super pleasant and helpful. Very proactive. Always smiling. Great job!! Housekeeping staff, was super nice. They did a great job in ensuring the standards of cleanliness of the room is tip top. Daily the room was cleaned superbly well. Towels changed daily. They deserves more bonuses. 3. Room Room is nice, though the measurements stated on the website is 24 sq mtrs, I feel it's about 20 sq mtrs only, similar to other hotels of the same room size. The room has kettle, coffee n tea, refrigerator, safe, bottled water, king size bed, nice chair, plenty of table space, washroom was amazingly clean with all toiletries provided. 4. Malls There are 2 malls within walking distance: Kalibata Plaza and Kalibata City Square (KCS ) Around the KCS, there are many many laundry shops. We managed to find one that did a great job cleaning our clothing and actually delivered it to the hotel reception. KCS is quite a decent mall located at the basement of the apartment compound. Plenty of eateries. Kalibata Plaza is a slightly older and run down mall with not many shops opened. There is a huge supermarket there that are packed with people. A few eateries, some bakeries, some clothing stores. 5. Convenience store There is a convenience store within the hotel compound, Indomaret. It opens only up to 10pm daily. So if your are hungry or thirsty or craving for some snacks at night, you might want to log onto GoJek App to order online for delivery from other stores. 6. Traffic Traffic is generally bad in Jakarta. The roads surrounding the hotel is always busy. Some roads are constantly heavy and sometimes not moving. Best to learn how to use the train, lrt, mrt network. Good to invest on the KAI train card. It can be your best friend there. KAI train card is for trains, you cannot use it to board buses. You will need a JakLingo card to access both buses and trains. 7. Environment The external areas of the hotel does need a lot of servicing and upgrading. The roads, the carpark, the lobby.. all need a lot more work. 8. Parking Sadly the hotel does not have a time grace for your grab/gocar to come in to fetch you and exit complementary. They charge you RP3k even if the pick up was immediate. Hotel should review this, as pick up services that guests ordered should be free. 8. Deposit Hotel collected RP 200k upon check in. Returned upon check out. Frankly, the system should be removed. Overall, the hotel is decently good to stay in, but located in an area that is not convenient for exploring the city. Ps: This area is known for its Durian, thus the name of the train station: DUREN Kalibata. But the durian stores located opposite KCS are just big hypes. The durians there are not that fantastic. We had stall owners passing Thailand Monthong durian off as Mao Shan Wang durian. Price wise, though cheaper than in Singapore, I feel it's expensive for the quality we received.

We booked two rooms in this hotel, one room has problem with the phone while the other has problem with TV. We already asked for repairing several times, but the staff didn't come until we checked out. The room was not cleaned properly, there was some dirt that hasn't removed. May be causes by a lot of room booked in that week. Sahur buffet is so so. Not many variety. I am a bit disapointed, with this room price. Location is superb. Near Tebet Kalibata Station, easy to go anywhere. Bluebird taxi pool is also just in front of the hotel. The staffs were nice too, a lot of smile and help during our stay, except for repairing thing I guess 😂. Overall, this hotel is nice if you need to go arround Jakarta, but need to improve the cleanliness and also room maintenance.

Since I travel for business, this locatiin is very strategic. The office I want to go is very close. I just need to walk to get there. The hotel is also next to the public transportation, next to the mall and many restaurants. The wifi was reliable. The room hotel is clean and comfortable, but the tv remote need new batteries. Make sure to check it everyday. It is far from the airport, however there are so many car that can bringbyoubto the airport from this hotel. I will definitely come back again to this hotel for its value for money

Really great hotel. Nice and clean room, good air con. The downside is location too remote. Confusing and small roads to hotel. Heavy traffic from every direction. Anytime. Too far away if you want to explore the city. Nearest shopping mall is Kokas.
