He kindly arranged a room that was specially designed for senior citizens, which was a very considerate gesture and greatly enhanced my comfort. This is a very good hotel with a location that is walkable almost everywhere. The staff are very helpful. The housekeeper young adult was very good. He did a fantastic job of cleaning. The international breakfast buffet was exceptional. My critic : The food was good. However, adding more vegetarian options would be nice. The dhals at the roti prata section were always cold. The staff at the buffet were very nice and we had chats with them too. The view of the room was facing the city and mountain. It was a blessing to witness sunrise from the balcony daily. What an awesome view of the Malacca river right in-front of the hotel. Room: just the corner of the bed had paints chipping off and the balcony wall needed some touch up as paint had come off. The deluxe twin room was spacious and beautiful. Definitely would stay here again if we return. My sister and I enjoyed our stay.

“My Stay at Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka ”
I recently stayed at Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka and overall, it was a great experience with a few things to note. What I Loved: • The location is excellent — close to Jonker Street, the river, and tourist attractions, yet peaceful enough for a relaxing stay. • My room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view of the river and city skyline. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. • The hotel is directly connected to The Shore shopping mall, which made it super convenient for food and essentials. • The facilities were solid — there’s both an indoor and outdoor pool (great for families with kids), and the gym was decent for a quick workout. • Staff were friendly and helpful, from check-in to housekeeping. What Could Be Improved: • The elevator wait times were frustrating, especially during check-out hours. It took quite a while to get down to the lobby. • The parking situation is a bit confusing — free parking is only available on certain levels, and others charge a flat fee via Touch ’n Go. • There was some noise early in the morning, likely from a nearby mosque, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. • The breakfast buffet was okay but got very crowded. Food quality was decent but could be better in terms of variety and taste. Final Thoughts: For the price I paid, Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka offered excellent value for money. It’s perfect for couples, families, or even solo travelers who want to explore Melaka without overspending. Just be prepared for some minor inconveniences — nothing major, but worth being aware of.
