Swissotel Chicago review”
The Swissotel Chicago is a wonderful hotel. My spouse and I love it and try to return there whenever we stay downtown Chicago. The location is excellent and staff is extremely friendly. The hotel provides significant attention to detail. The bedding is outstanding - the most comfortable we've every slept in. My only negative comment is in regards to cost for extras... e.g. I don't think the up charge for health club usage is justified.
Received greatly by Reception Desk. She was very helpful in all respects. Any hotel will be proud to have a Reception Clerk like her. Lowest priced room was unexpectedly big and clean in all respects. If we visit Chicago again, we would definitely stay there again. Proximity to museums and Sears Tower is a big plus.
My husband and I stayed at the Swissotel during Labor Day weekend. We have been to Chicago many times, but this is the first time at this hotel. We would have liked to have been a little more centrally located in relation to the Water Tower and Mag Mile shopping, but the plush hotel was worth the extra few blocks of walking. We definitely will not hesitate to stay here again.
Swissotel Hotel in Chicago, Il”
Though I was intown, Chicago when all the hype for the Cubs and Soxs - the Hotel was SOLD OUT. There was not a room until the weekend to be gotten. I would highly recommend the Swissotel based on location and the pricing I received . . . The food prices within the hotel were extremely high - you are much better off going local within a few blooks. The location is absolutely great - within two blocks of Mich. Ave and several blocks to the famed Water Tower Place Shopping area; within blocks of the Art Insitute.
Nice hotel and valuable price”
i stay at hotel for one night. the room is well decorated and very clean. the view is wonderful and quite. i would like to stay this hotel again when visiting chicago
i loved everything about this hotel. loved the location. breath taking view of the navy pier and river walk. the best thing about the hotel was how friendly the workers were there. from the valet/doormen, check in desk, room service, to the spa employees. loved the pool and work out area. everything you could want was there. had an amazing trip.
Wonderful room with excellent views of the city. ”
Lovely lady checked us in and gave us an exceptional room with lake views because our room wasn't ready. They also sent up a cake with happy anniversary in chocolate on the glass plate. It was beautiful and delicious. It was a rainy weekend so we enjoyed the room immensely.
By far the best hotel I ever stayed in!”
Located 5 minutes walk from Chicago's shopping district (Michigan Avenue), large bright rooms, big windows and a fantastic view of the city makes this hotel ideal for any traveler. Note that it is a bit out of the way, there are not many food options near by, nor are there any 24h convenience store within a 10 minute walk (during the day time there is a undergroud shopping area in the building adjacent to the main entrance, with a same day, ultra cheap dry cleaners).
Located on upper Wacker dr. which is close to River walk and the bridge that connects to Magnificient Mile. Once I walked into my room, it was clean, spacious, and the openess due to surrounding large clear windows that captures the Michigan Lake, the Pier, and other unique architectures..., enjoyed the view while drinking coffee and it was pleasant feeling waking up to the sunrise. My stay would have been more satisfying if the bed (mattress) was more comfortable, and also wifi and fitness center are not free, no complimentary water, be cautious when using refrigerator, its sensors can be sensitive. Overall I liked the hotel and probably would stay here again because of the location.
We were given a very nice room.Location is excelle”
Upon our arrival after a 25 hours'journey, the reception could not find our reservation. We were offered a drink at the bar and after 30 minutes we could move into a nice spacious room.
Heavy Snow Storn”
It was a short stay and due to heavy snow storm I cannot go visit my customer hence I have to stay in hotel. The food is just nice and near to airport. I have no complain of this hotel.
Excellent. Staff was cooperative and attentive. Room was impeccable. Only downside was no free internet.
the hotel location is prefect and close to the bean and millennium park. you can walk and its very close the problem was the internet was not free plus its expensive, since I am paying a 4 start hotel . internet should be free and water also. they charge 8 dollar a bottle which is very expensive at least provide free water like most 5 or 4 star hotels
Overpriced for what you get. Breakfast was not even included.”
The room was fine but not brand new. Typical older USA hotel. Room was not cleaned due to an early morning check in, although I had explicitly asked for this. Staff was friendly otherwise. The price is too high for what you get, especially since breakfast is not even included.
Beautiful hotel, beautiful city view.. I love my stay a lot..
Pretty nice position by the river”
Great - We could move in and out of the city easily and the hotel was so central
Nice Hotel / Great Location”
I would recommend this hotel and definitly stay again.
Business hotel nice room”
No : rooms Are absolutely quiet, excellent soundproofing The room was nearby the elevators and no noise was ever heard. Breakfast is too expansive and served in an horrible place. The surroundings were ugly but the view was great. Some troubles at checkout due to wrong charge of minibar: it took about half an tour to have the correct check. Pants sent to laundry because of two stains were returned to me dirty. They took the pants again and the second time stains sere removed.
nice room but poor service”
the hotel charged the minibar twice which we actually did not use at all. further more, when we phoned the hotel to check the bill the operator just ask us to hold the line for nearly ten minutes without ansering.
Stay in Style”
Hotel stored my luggage after checkout since I had a late travel connection. No charge - no problem. Nice hotel, worth every star it has. Location is near Navy Pier and close to bus lines.
