Great location”
I didn't get to see or use the pool since it was undergoing a month long maintenance. I really wanted to try to the pool. Gym facilities are modern and sufficient offer a large number of cardio equipment and modern, good weights machines. The rooms are excellent, very clean, huge bathrooms, and plenty of amenities (free water, free instant coffee, fridge, iron, house coats, etc.). The light switch set up is a little weird, but that's the only fault I can give the rooms. They were very well done. The lobby is big, and impressive (which is a nice environmental touch, but not critical to the stay). Location near Jing'an temple is perfect - near a major and convenient public transit hub that get's you all over Shanghai and is on the direct line to either airport. Great coffee shop just out the front entrance with a cozy library feel. Near major shopping and food.

My second stay”
This was my second stay in this hotel. The staff is great and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is as big as expected, could be due to Covid-19 though. However there is still quite some choice. The fitness and sauna/steam room area is spacious and super clean. I will stay there again.

Fantastic value, great location”
I had a great stay here for just a night. Not far in a taxi from the French Concession and downtown, and I found it to be great value for how comfortable it was. Would go again for sure.

Great location, very clean and modern”
One of my favourite business hotels in shanghai so far having tried a few in the area. Well priced for the location in Jing'an. A short walk to the Kerry Centre or the Temple. Recommended.

A piece of heaven in the shadows of Jing An Temple”
It is pricey, but so is everything in Shanghai. Treat yourself knowing that the extra few hundred Kuai buys you a giant leap in comfort. Nice rooms and you can't beat the location steps from Jing An Temple. Had an issue with my laptop charger not plugging into the outlet and the staff came immediately with an extension cord. I'll be back when I need a pamper session in Shanghai!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great location. The sauna and pool area is spacious and clean. The breakfast was not as huge as I expected according to some reviews. It might be due to Covid-19. However, more variety than in a average home.

This was my third-time stayed at Swissotel, Shanghai. The location is perfect on any occasion. It has many department stores and shopping malls around. The room is clean and spacious. You can enjoy the spa, indoor swimming pool, and 24hr fitness center.

Great location (<1 min from Jing’an subway exit #3), friendly staff, and nice amenities - excellent gym and sauna (wet, dry, hot tubs). Hotel staff: I found the lighting to be very dim just about everywhere in the hotel and especially in the room (eg how is there no lights above the bed/middle of the room?). I think the room severely lacked accessible outlets (again, no outlets by the bedside? I also thought the deposit was hilariously high -2k rmb for a 2 night stay ie more than I paid for the room. Why?

Still excellent after all these years”
We've been staying here for the past years and until now it's still great. Didn't avail of the breakfast though so can't comment there. But the staff, especially this one guy at the concierge were extremely helpful. Needed to look for an open China Unicom late at night and he went out of his way to find one. Rooms are still very clean. Only downside is since it is not that new, power outlets are scarce. Newer hotels have a lot with usb ports. Water pressure could be better. There's also one housekeeping old lady that's very annoying. Whenever she sees us in the room, she didn't care to leave and come back. She would actually start vacuming and cleaning, shooing us away.

Love the room, except for the lack of power points. Power points were no where near the bed, and it's at very awkward positions near the TV/desk. One of the power point did not fit with the universal adapter. No USB charging ports. - 2 minutes walk to JingAn Metro Station. - Opposite the hotel there's a Family Mart and a row of restaurants. - 2 shopping malls beside the hotel

Primary location, that's all. Clean room, service could be better. Poor breakfast for 200+. Additionally Agoda doesn't issue VAT invoice, so if needed for company, well....try to book hotel from another provider.
