Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay boasts 595 rooms, all with spectacular views from this towering building that is close to everything Sydney has to offer. A more amicable location would be difficult to find as the Circular Quay is merely a half-block from the front entrance, and the historical Rocks area, as well as the Sydney Harbor Bridge, are just a moment's walk away. The rooms are striking, and the color choices are bright and make guests simply feel good about being in their room. The famous Captain Cook Cruises is right out the front door where patrons can enjoy everything from a coffee cruise to a majestic evening out with a five course dinner. Top-notch service and luxurious rooms are taken a new level here at Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay.

On our honeymoon. We got a surprise delivery of some treats (sadly not vegan but my husband enjoyed them), the gym was an amazing hotel gym. Silvesters was great and accomodating to a vegan diet. Staff always friendly and helpful.
Excellent all round”
Close to everything! Spacious clean room with excellent shower. Nice lobby. Fast check-in and check-out even though really busy. Bit expensive parking but valet service made things easy. The thing that made this a great stay was the staff -awesome service from everyone we encountered
Right by the harbour, you can walk to the Opera House in 10 min. The rooms were great and clean. You can walk to the Harbour, shopping area, and to restaurants easily. Perfect way to see downtown Sydney.
Hotel is very convenient and staff is excellent. Especially the staff at the concierge. They go out of their way to help you. The location is close to Circular Quay, the Rocks, the Opera House, so plenty of touristy places. There are also a lot of good pubs and restaurants nearby. Good for business or couples.
Nice place to enjoy Vivid Sydney !”
We booked this hotel for our family of 4 persons and upgraded to higher floor with best view the opera house and Sydney harbour. All fanstatic, we sure will stay here again in the next visit Australia. Highly recommended for people travel with family.
The vallet parking is way too expensive for overnight stayed. Staff is helpful and friendly, we were allowed to check in early around 9am. Location is just walking distance to opera house, sydney harbour etc.
Great location to see iconic Sydney sites”
We stayed here because it was close to Circular Quay, the Rocks, and the Sydney Opera house. It was an easy transfer from the airport to the hotel via train. Also close to other attractions in Darling Harbour (maybe a 1km walk). Rooms were large size, clean and comfortable. Can't really comment on the food or other hotel services as we spent most of our time out of the hotel site seeing and taking in other restaurants in the area.
Convenient hotel to explore Sydney”
We stayed one night there, but thanks for the location of this hotel, we were able to explore all popular spots at Darling Harbour, Star City, and the city center. The train station is just a few steps away, and so it's easy to go to the airport.
Great hotel, great location”
Every Marriott hotel I have stayed at has been great and this was no exception. Great room, great location, and very helpful staff. The value for money was also very good. The only slight complaint would be that you have to pay for the internet, but that is pretty typical for Australia.
Perfect location near Opera House. Felt safe to walk back from the Opera House after the performance. Good service in reception and concierge. Nice lobby bar with reasonable prices for drinks and snacks. It seems to be common in Australia to charge for using the wifi. I don't know about the telecom operator pricing in Australia, but I didn't expect to having pay for it in a 5-star hotel.
the hotel is located near to sydney harbour, the rocks area. there are plenty of eateries and cafes in the vicinity. the hotel room is clean and comfortable. the toilet is very well maintained and clean. customer service is commendable. it is a very good hotel for business purposes.
Great service and location”
We have spent 4 nights there. The location is quite close to main attractions (Opera House, Harbour Bridge, The Rocks, etc.). We experienced excellent service from the hotel staff from check-in to check-out.
Great location but .........”
Fantastic ally situated close to the Bridge and the Opera House but expensive, tiny room for a family, tired decor, equipment in the gym passed sell by date, breakfast supervisor rude and no communication between front desk and Sylvestor’s restaurant. Wasn’t a great start to our long awaited trip down under!!
The location is perfect with just a short walk to circular quay. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The only problem is all the construction happening around the hotel which makes parking a bit of a nightmare but that’s not the hotels fault. Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay and our view from the room was really nice. Breakfast was such a good selection. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed at the hotel as my daughter requested to stay at a hotel for her birthday. I searched hotels in sydney with pools and found mariott. They had what she wanted, pool, sauna and room service. Bed was ok, the tv channels were just the free tv, shower was basic, wish there was a bath though. Location i really good, in front of the quay.
Not worth the money”
The hotel was in a great location and staff were attentive and amazing. Unfortunately, for the price you pay for a Opera House View Room, the service didn't match. Housekeeping hardly cleaned the place and food and drinks significantly overpriced.
Great location within circular Quay and the rock area”
Staff very friendly and nice. Great location nearby circular Quay and the Rock area.
Excellent service ”
We will certainly recommend the Marriot to our family and friends for stop overs in Sydney, the stay was a stress free - from reception, buffet breakfast chef's, porters, room service, lovely helpful people!
Excellent location for cruise overnight stay”
Rooms are marketed as city view or opera house views. We upgraded to opera house view but you had to stand in the corner to see it. Not really opera house views in my opinion; more of a scam to pay more.
Right behind the harbour and very close to the Rock which are the main advantages to this hotel. Room was clean and spacious. Nothing special about this hotel, very standard in style and no particular attention from staff. Did not try their breakfast but plenty of choices since close to the harbour. Overall good hotel but nothing special. You pay for proximity
