You are only allowed one key per room - there was a microwave and a place for the fridge yet there was no fridge - you had to pay a $50 bond that equelled to $52.50 with surcharge fee yet only refunded $50 - room was not services until 230pm

Wifi is necessity for foreign traveller. Free wifi used for atleast 2hrs a day as a complimentary to guest are very much appreciated.

Stayed the rooftop pent house. Nicely presented, small but had the essentials- no tea or coffee provided. Lovely view from the roof top, great for New Years. Great location. Lot of stairs though! Perfect for short stays at a decent price.

terrible.Very old and needed substantial maintenance. The first room they sent me to after lugging my baggage up two flights of stairs due to no elevator in the building, was occupied by two people very busy ??? Not only did I find this incredibly embarrassing but also a hotel that lacked integrity and concern over what happened. I will never stay there again and would advise any future customers wishing to stay in this area to explore their options

Awesome location, great room with some cockroaches”
Location, beds and rooftop deck
We stayed 4 nights, and the location was spot on for exploring. The front desk wasn't engaging, but we were good to explore on our own. Busses right outside the front door, and cute cafes everywhere! The room was great, but there were some bugs that would pop out every now and again. Not the most pleasant, but fine for our budget expectations.

Ocation, price, location
THE GOOD: - Very affordable - Location is fantastic - Rooms are clean - Staff are polite THE OBVIOUS - It's noisy, you are on Oxford St! THE NOT SO GOOD - Our room was tiny - It's old - The ventilation in the bathrooms suck. There are signs telling you not to shower with your door open because you'll set off the smoke alarm. This seemed to happen while we were there because the alarm went off and several fire trucks came racing up the street. Someone had put a plastic bag over the alarm in our room! - Staff couldn't help us with touristy things or directions. We asked several times and they didn't know. - Our bathroom sink kept clogging up. I accidentally dropped a piece of jewellry down the sink and when my partner unscrewed the u-bend to retrieve it out came about a kilo of hair, a straw and some pills.
