We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The facilities were well maintained. “Pleasant stay”
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast offered a good variety of food choices, and I especially enjoyed the nasi lemak, which tasted very good. The gym facilities were well-equipped, and the pool area had a nice view, especially at night. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

On checking in after checking my room i found a stain on the blanket. Called the hotline and immediately they sent housekeeping to come with apologies and immediate rectification. “Modern Comfort, Great Facilities, and Top-Notch Service in Ipoh”
Our stay at AC Hotel Ipoh was a highlight of our trip. From the modern aesthetic to the professional staff, it offered a high-quality experience for our group. The Pros: Efficient Arrival: Check-in was quick. The lobby is clean, spacious, and modern. Exceptional Facilities: The 5-star rating for facilities is well-deserved. The swimming pool was the star of the stay for me. We also loved the gaming rooms, which provided great evening entertainment. Responsive Service: We stayed in a connecting room and encountered some noise issues with the neighbors. The hotel staff handled our report promptly and resolved the situation immediately, which we really appreciated. Spacious Rooms: The Prime Deluxe Twin room had plenty of floor space; we could easily open three large suitcases without feeling cramped. Great for Drivers: If you are driving, the location is very convenient and serves as an excellent base for exploring Ipoh. The Cons: Soundproofing: The biggest drawback was the external noise. Despite being a modern hotel, the soundproofing against road traffic was weak—it felt as though cars were driving right next to us throughout the night. Room Detail: As a couple, having to sleep in separate twin beds wasn't ideal, but the room size made up for it. Housekeeping Slip-up: We did find a blood stain on one of the towels provided, which was a disappointment given the otherwise high standards of the hotel. Final Verdict: The pool and the proactive service recovery make this a top choice in Ipoh. If you are a light sleeper, I’d recommend requesting a room away from the main road, but otherwise, the facilities and vibe are fantastic.
