Very poorly managed and grossly high priced .”
No credit cards accepted . This is totally unacceptable for a tourist paying 180USD per day. Telephone ( rooms are away from reception and main block) did not work and not repaired even after 2 days of complaint . No hot water even in coldest month of January. No staff at reception during late evening , nights and early morning ( safari time) Unprofessional and untrained front staff and management. 2 star worth/ value for a supposedly 4 star resort charging 5 star rates .

Excellent property but poorly managed.”
This is an excellent property with huge cottages. Could have been the best at Bandhavgarh. Due to lack of interest of management this property will go down to the drain in no time. It looks like that the staff at reception are handpicked from the street. They don't value the guests. Any basic instructions given to them will never be followed whether it's about wake up call or about raising receipts at the time of check out. They are only interested in fooling the guest. They informed us about their other property NIRMAL CHAYA claiming that it's beautiful with water and amusement park. It's about 1 hour drive from Bandhavgarh. The water park is very small. We just used it only for two hours. No body can use amusement park because of knee length uncut grass. Over all this visit came out to be a waste with regards to money and time. Only positive thing was Jungle Restaurant. The chef was good. There was no variety in food but whatever is cooked will be excellent.

Great hotel, excellent staff, and amazing service”
Rooms, overall ambiance,
Syna is a great place to be, especially if traveling with young children. We went there for the birthday of our two-year old son and he totally enjoyed it. Jhumli (GM) and her staff took care of us in a grand fashion, they started having updates on our arrival well in advance, kept the food ready when we arrived, and upgraded us to the suite as we had a young child. The hotel staff was always there to honor most of our requests (and we were a demanding bunch The food was wonderful and the chef was game for everything we demanded. They organized our safari into the prime (tala) zone despite the rush and the treatment was royal too (breakfast by the resort at the mid point). to cap it all, we got to see three tigers too. All in all, a wonderful experience. would definitely love to go there again.

Laid back and luxurious. ”
Spacious independent cottages with exclusive "Machaan".
Syna is a very relaxed, leisurely and spacious resort. We had a very comfortable stay. The cottage was nice and big. The exclusive Machaan was an excellent place to enjoy the solitude along with a chilled drink! The jacuzzi also made the stay much more fun, especially as we were traveling with kids. Although we were staying in the standard cottage, the ones based on different states were quite interesting. I found the one based on Gujarat most vibrant. Having a tree house is an interesting choice though I was glad I did not opt for it because of the smaller size and absence of jacuzzi. The free wifi in the reception area was a nice surprise. The driver appointed for our safari's by the resort, Mr Santosh Tiwari, deserves a special mention. He does his job with passion and tries his best to make a tiger sighting possible. Even when the tigers remain elusive, he keeps the guest busy and interested. All in all a very nice stay, though the food could have been better and less spicy. Last, but not the least the manager, Mrs Sinha, was very helpful and also very resourceful! Highly recommended place. The tiger sightings made the stay even better.

Perfect Getaway for Nature Lovers”
Landscape, rooms, location
i along with my wife travelled to bandhavgarh to spend some good time together on our wedding anniversary and stayed at the syna tiger resort for 2 nights and three days. we travelled from delhi to bhopal by early morning jetlite flight and took ventura airconnect to jabalpur which was also a great experience. from jabalpur, we drove to bandhavgarh which was around 3 hours journey. we were dead tired but got refeshed to see the resort. the front desk incharge upgraded us to suite. the resort location is superb and it gives a feel of paradise in jungle. the resort gives a feel of countryside with all the luxury. the suite was a separate house with a nice living room, a magnificant bedroom and a grand bathroom with glass roof. it gives a feel of taking bath in open with all the privacy. every room and suite is equipped with jacuzzi. the lighting is perfect. every room has its own machaan and private sit out. the staff is helpful and caring. the staff has a touch of village innocence but at the same time they are perfect in thier job. the resort has its own organic farms from where vegtables are supplied to resort restaurant. also, the resort has its own waterbody where they offer a pedal boat ride. the food quality and taste is perfect. the resort pool is also nice and offers privacy. we have taken two safari's from resort morning to magdhi zone and evening to tala zone. we were lucky to site tiger at magdhi zone and a tigress at tala zone. the resort offer gypsy for park safari with light snacks and tea at the mid point. also, they provide blankets, gloves and woolen caps to save against chilling cold. in all experience of the resort was great. overall, we would rate it as a perfect getaway for people looking out for nature, privacy and adventure.
