My friend and I took some time locating the hostel from the bus stop we stopped at (you can take the BRT buses practically for free for up to 10 kilometers), but the staff we called was very friendly and patient in explaining the directions. It is near a huge open-air carpark and there is a small sign near the carpark entrance that indicated the hostel name, but you might miss it if you are not really looking out for it. Location is rather quiet though, which is a plus, and there is a "communal area" in the hostel lobby where backpackers can eat and mingle. There is a laptop that one can use, and a small kitchen if you would like to cook or refrigerate things. We had the two bed private room with shared bathroom, and it was very spacious and simple. There was also a clothes rack for us to hang our clothes, and slippers are provided for you to change into once you enter the hostel. Very clean and comfortable place. Should you need to do laundry, there are also two washing machines with detergent provided, and it costs NTD20 per wash (pretty affordable). You can also hang your laundry in the roof area outside - there is one that is shaded, while the other one is not. Toilets/showers are all at level one, and hair dryers are also available. Females get more privacy too because access to the female dormitories are by card access. As for attractions, the nearest landmark would be Tunghai University, where you can enjoy a stroll or even jog. If you venture further, you can take a taxi to GaoMei Wetlands to catch the sunset, and then perhaps FengChia Night Market on the way back, or TungHai Night Market if you prefer one nearer the hostel. Overall quite a nice and comfortable stay, and I would definitely consider this hostel again if I am ever in the area again in future.

The hostel is very homey and instagramable. Almost everything you need is provided from kitchen items, utensils, toiletries (except toothbrush & towel) wifi inside the room. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They can talk to you in English so no worries for language barrier. Toilet and shower is very spacious, you wont feel suffocated while using it. Only thing that bothered me is that they dont have a bidet in the toilet. But tissues and alcohol is provided. No breakfast included but the hostel is very near to food establishments. And you can cook in their kitchen. There are instructions on everything so there's no excuse on littering the place. You can also leave a message on their message board. Game boards and other stuff ar also provided in their living area in case you got bored. Overall stay is very very good! Will definitely come back here to stay.

All in all, it's a good hostel. good location and price. The only disadvantage is that I would hear people talking and laughing next to my bedroom. It a little bug me.

You will feel like you are part of the hostel. The staff are very nice and easy going. They made my stay very comfortable and fun. The common area easily allows everyone to engage and chit chat with one another quite easily. The dorm is spacious.

I am only drop by this hostel for a night. But i am so surprise and impress when i first enter the hostel. It is clean, tidy, nice living room where travelers can hang around there. I wish i could spend more time here. Hotel does not provide Food but you can easily find local food restaurant nearby.

Clean and tidy, convenient location, friendly ”
It was the second time I stayed here. This time I got a room for 2 in the female dorm on the third floor (only 2 rooms on this floor). There was a small comfortable sitting room outside. It was a nice stay. Same as last time, the room was clean and tidy, people gathered, ate and chatted in the common dining room at night, staff were friendly and helpful. It was a little noisy before midnight since the window faced the roof top with ventilation fan. By closing the window it was fine. There was an area on the third floor where travellers can pay and use the washing machine and hang clothes there. There were also a few rooms on the second floor. In the female dorm, there were 5 shower stalls and 4 toilets. All clean and well equipped with hot/cold water, bath soap, shampoo, hand soap and hair dryers, similar to the mixed dorm. Each floor also has its own toilet and washing basin. The female dorm looks newer than the mixed dorm. Usually you find young travellers here.
