Best view in the world.”
Very good place to stay if you like turquoise water, snorkeling and calm. My bungalow was awesome, clean and not far from the water. The snorkeling is most awesome early in the morning. You can even see shark and if you are lucky the turtles. The breakfast is pretty good and the choices are varied enough. The staff is friendly enough. All in all I enjoyed my stay very much. The only issue I found is that you must leave a deposit of 1000 baht for the padlock which actually only cost 189 baht at the Seven Eleven. When you pay around a 100 dollars for a room you should not have to be bothered for a padlock that only cost a very tiny fraction of the total price.

Exceptional”
The “happy love” cottage, seaview garden room wit aircon was amazing. Clean, beautiful and exactly as advertised. A short 1min walk down to the private beach and snorkeling area and a 30sec walk up to the restaurant/viewing deck. We could not have picked a better place to stay on the island. The amazingly friendly staff made our stay such a pleasure. I could not recommend more highly.

Amazing Hosts, very nice and supported”
Super nice host. Good restaurant. Amazing view from room balcony. Nice place to stay for snorkeling. I can access Shark Bay from private beach in front of the hotel. Just half day snorkeling in Shark Bay, I met Blacktip shark and turtle. ... so wonderful !!! Also can walk along to rock to chill out on Tien Og Beach.

Exceptional”
I visited Koh Tao for 5 times, randomly stayed in different (3-5 stars) resorts This is the most worthy choice and simply make me feel like being at home. Variety choice of thai foods & good tastes at the restaurant with reasonable prices. Next time, I'll keep staying here.

Reasonable price with nice view”
If you wanna go somewhere, the hotel will charge for the ride thb 200 even though we went with other hotel guests who was going to the pier. The room is quite old. The bed was not comfortable. Other than above - everything was okay. Good room rate with nice view. Nice staff.

Bungalow with a view”
After two weeks of travelling Thailand we were ready to spend a week in comfort, ready to snorkel and enjoy island life. Taatoh Seaview was a great place for us to do this. The resort is small, staff is very friendly and gives you the attention you like.

Snorkel From Bed”
One room has a ceiling to floor glass window where you can spot fish from bed. It's on one of the best snorkeling bays in Koh Tao. We always try yo book this room for a few nights when available. Major stairs/ hills to breakfast and other restaurants so beware there is a lot of climbing!

Cool simple place”
Very nice view. The team was nice even if it wasn't always easy to communicate in English. Very simple room but it was OK for us. The mosquito net was very useful. No vegan option for the breakfast.

Great views”
We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It could do with some upkeep but these are Covid times. Staff were helpful and the views fantastic. Many, many stairs so beware of this is a problem for you. We had breakfast once, brought to our room and it was good. We did not have any other food there so cannot comment on that.

Good”
All of the resort’s rooms have seaview. However, the Family Good View Bungalow is exceptional as it is directly over the water. Resort is built on a cliff so it bit of an exercise to go up and down from the room to the restaurant/front desk. Not recommended for those not in good health as the trail is steep. We great location (Sharks Bay)., however, Grounds are poorly maintained- lots of trash and tree debris laying around.

Old and tired hotel in amazing location”
The hotel is old, quite run down and clearly not very well taken care of. The staff is not exactly rude, but definitely not friendly. The breakfast is incredibly basic. All in all, a complete rip-off for the money paid.

Disappointing”
The room was really old. We booked family deluxe room and it was dark and old. The toilet is the worst. If you ever read this, pass this resort and choose something else.

An idyllic place to stay. The 2-bedroom bungalow was perfect for us.”
Friendly and helpful staff. Returning to koh tao after 20+yrs - Rustic enough to be romantic & dreamlike, but had everything we needed. Paradise view from bungalow & restaurant. A few steep steps to the water and a short clamber to the beach. Enjoyed the exercise of the steps up to restaurant. Easy 10 min walk to Chalok. Very shallow coral at Shark Bay (which anyone can walk throughresort to get to) - tricky at low tide but still great fun and plenty of fish. Better coral on other bays but we did see a turtle here and small shark here. Overall an amazng stay. (And toiletries & breakfast provided!!).

Great place in lovely location”
Really enjoyed our stay here. We had a slight mix up with our booking through Agoda but Chen behind reception quickly sorted this out for us. Our room was lovely and good value for money. Other reviews are correct in that there are steep steps down to the sea from the resort - the trade off being you get great views from your room! Breakfast was simple but more than adequate and there are some great eating options a ten minute walk away in Chalok Bay.

A positive was the location ”
The hotel was very chilled out and authentic. The location was great just near shark bay and 10mins walk away from a stretch of restaurants. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We did feel there were a few negatives though... To get to the beach, there are quite a few steps to climb down, some of which were very far apart so could be a little precarious at times, especially when wet. To get to the main beach at sharks bay you have to climb over a cluster of rocks, which is ok with some coral shoes but not in flip flops (I cut my foot). The beach is worth it after a 15min trek, and is great for snorkelling and nice and quiet. The sand is white and the sea is warm (and shallow) and so clear. For the room you have to give 1000THB deposit when you first check in to the hotel... which is the other end of a padlock; seems a bit much. The breakfast was okay but you can only choose one option and a drink from their set menus which is also 150THB. You can hire snorkels and fins for 50THB each. Our particular bungalow was occupied by a Tokay Gecko (the size of your forearm) who could be very vocal at night! At first we thought it was a trapped bird in the roof until we eventually saw it. The staff did try to find him but he was very evasive and liked his home, so we just adapted (on the plus side he kept the bugs to a minimum and having one nearby is apparently good luck in Thailand). The bathroom was pretty basic, our toilet seat was broken and overall had a shed like quality to it - the shower tray can only be described as a hole formed out of some concrete. There were no frills really, just lots of steps to get to main reception and lots down to the beach, so some physical fitness is required (you need to be stable on your feet). It is fairly expensive for what you get from our experience over the last month in Thailand, and we wouldn’t stop here again, but each to their own. One thing to be wary of in Koh Tao in general are taxi prices... they are very high

The location is brilliant. The view is breathtaking. The snorkeling is amazing.”
The location, views and snorkeling are all excellent. The staff are gorgeous and helpful. The stairs are a bit of a hike and health & safety hazard, it maybe difficult for elderly guests, but I hope it doesn’t change
