What a place ! ”

I just loved it here - it's family owned, remote, rustic and very friendly ! Its not for everyone due to its location and set-up, but if you're a traveler, like something off the beaten track or need some stress-free down time - and dont need a typical hotel set-up, this is a great place. The huts/south african style tents are large and have the basics you need. They all sit right on the beach front. The shared showers/toilets are clean at all times and even though are salt water they do have large water holders of fresh water to rinse off with. All the staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Things to do - eat, drink, have massages, snorkel, paddle board, pool, table tennis, mermaid swimming or just lay in a hammock all day. The sunsets are breathing taking as is the morning view ! It's just a little piece of nature worth seeing.

Peaceful environment with a clean beach. The huts are very modern, comfortable and homely. It is a nice resort that is well-thought out and makes for a relaxing beach retreat. Perhaps it is best suited to a certain type of tourist in terms of prices, food and the overall atmosphere. It would be perhaps appealing to those who wish to socialise with other tourists rather than experience local Filipino life. This is perfectly fine if you enjoy bars and the company of other tourists rather than a more local-homestay vibe (just to make it clear for any future guests that may mistake it as that). The South African owner, Sharon, was polite and helpful. Overall a nice place in a remote location (takes a while to get there).

Relax and have some quiet time. ”

It’s not difficult to get to Tablas. Just book with Cebu Pacific and get picked up by the resort from the airport — easy! Drive to the resort is about an hour and 15mins. There’s so much to see so it’s not going to be a boring ride. The resort is what it is in the photos. It’s quiet and the water is serene and clear. The restaurant and bar offers a wide range of choices from food and drinks so there’s really a lot for you to choose from. They also offer the catch of the day which was lapu-lapu during my stay. I had it grilled side with vegs! You can go snorkelling, paddle-up boarding, there’s a few bar games too such as pool, table tennis, darts, cards against humanities, uno and the likes. The happy hour selections, beers and cocktails are also good! Lastly, my stay was made extra special by the staff and the managing/owner Kasha. I felt so at home. It’s the people that makes a place feel like home so thank you once again Tablas Point. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of toxic city life.”

It's a different world. It's the ultimate peace and quiet destination. Far from touristy and noisy places and all you can do is bask in the sun, swim in the clear turquoise waters, and watch the spectacular sunset. It has a magnificent underwater world that's perfect for snorkeling. You can also easily visit the other islands and yes, there's an inland lake close to it.
