Very disappointing”

The beach
The house smelt like a wet dog. There was rust and mould in most places. No towels, no kitchen towels. The windows and curtains were dirty. We were just appalled considering we are in a pandemic. I was really disappointed. I live in JHB and to come to a place which was only neat at face value but smelt so bad. Even the bedding smelt damp. If we had another place to go or an option to cancel I would have never stayed a moment longer.

The view was exceptional. Access to the beach was good.
The inventory list was incorrect - Housekeeping did not perform regular checks to ensure inventory list reflected actual unit's inventory. The linen was well used. Did not have blankets for cold nights. Did not have plastic containers for children. Insufficient dish-wash for long stayers - guest staying for 1 night received the same amount of dish-wash for guests staying for 5 nights. Only one dish cloth. Privacy was problematic - other guests in other units walked past Tahiti 11's verandah and bedrooms to get to their units - other guests should be prevented from walking past..

Did not enjoy the staying we book shelf catering but went out all the time because was not proper equipped. Should get some of the charges back .
Toilets not flashing Dstv not working when arrived Turnbledryer reddy to be scrapped making noises like old car of 1960 Showers no pressure and very small Some cupboards smalling bed have to leave clothes on our bags Kitchen pots can not be used Really a desepoint I am a long Term customer of Booking.com never add a problem but this one was a really desepointment.

Tahiti 11”

The location is perfect. The units are spacious and have most of the amenities. The 2 rooms with sea view were very relaxing. Love the table on the stoep. When the iron broke they immediately replaced it with a new one. Booking in and out was quick and easy.
The power was off a lot due to the substation that exploded. They should consider adding gas bottles and kettles to the units for when the power is off or generators to the complex. Getting to and from swimming pool was a bit difficult with a pram due to the steps they should consider building a ramp. The third room needs more cupboard space as the one cupboard has a geyser in and the other one locked which leaves you with only one for clothes.

Clear Sea view and the Entertainment area was great.. Pool side. Good WiFi coverage..
Single Beds on the other 2 Rooms. This must be improved. Dowble beds would do. Door handles should be changed and also the sliding doors needs maintenance for smooth opening and closing. Iron also was very old and dirty. Overall it was a great Stay.
