The location is great, with lots of food stalls and vendors right outside the door. Parking is convenient and the reception staff are very friendly. The room rates are reasonable and the rooms are clean with good quality shower products. Breakfast is a boxed meal with rice, fish, vegetables, eggs, and some fruit. There is also a self-service area with coffee, banana milk, toast, grilled buns, fried hot dogs, and other items (not sure if these self-service items change daily), which are also quite tasty. The only downside is that the soundproofing is not great, but it doesn't affect the overall experience of staying there.

Would have been a pleasant stay”
Would have been a very pleasant stay if not for a very inconsiderate and selfish incessant smoker staying in the next room. The cigarette smell got into my room despite me using the bath towels to seal the door. Breathing in the unhealthy smell the whole night caused me a sleepless night and a very bad migraine. I have nothing against smoker but please respect the hotel’s NO SMOKING policy. Nina, the awesome staff had already briefed all guests upon check in that smoking in the room and within the hotel is not allowed!!! Smokers, please enjoy your puff at designated area outside the hotel. Let’s be considerate as your comfort and convenience of enjoying a puff in your room will not only cause discomfort to others but also affect the hotel’s business. It is impossible for the hotel to get rid of the smoke smell from the wall paper, curtains and furnishings. Many hotels are struggling to survive due to Covid and a bad review on rooms reeking of smoke smell would definitely turn many non-smokers like family with children and me away. It would definitely be a shame if the selfish and inconsiderate behaviour of smokers lead to the downfall of this very good hotel. I really like this hotel as it is well located within the food street and near the lake. The room was very clean with quality toiletries and complimentary drinks. I enjoyed the breakfast, which was a bento with a variety of delicious dishes and fruits, served together with miso soup, bread roll and preserves. But what I enjoyed most was the warm, welcoming and friendly service of Nina. I would definitely consider staying again if the hotel management could ensure that the health of non-smoker guests are not compromised by implementing a regulation like a hefty fine for non-compliant smoker guests.
Perfect place for family”
We were a little skeptical with this hotel at first since the price was low for 3 rooms and 8 people. Boy were we wrong. This turned out to be a very good stay. Hotel was wonderful, and we all highly recommend for families traveling together. The rooms are spacious and clean, staff was helpful and warm, and lake view is breathtaking (we were on 6th floor. We enjoyed the free beverages in the room, and the water station both downstairs and in our room. The living room area is really good for families traveling together. Instead of going into 3 separate hotel rooms, we could sit together, chat, and enjoy time together late at night. Nearby there is a market with many food options, walking distant to the pier, bike rental, and gondola station. We were glad we stayed near Idashiao, we noticed pricing was a lot higher on the other side of the lake. We would highly recommend this hotel for your stay, epecially if traveling with larger group.
