easy assess hotel but everything DIY
Hotel Service : Pretty much non-existent ( no room service , no counter staff ) which made checking in quite the adventure as we were not aware we had to call in advance to get our room key , being tourists , we had no phone on hand so had to borrow one from a local Location : Hotel`s location is less than a 3 minute walk to Ximending train station . can’t ask for a better location ! Price : Good if we consider the centralised location Room Quality : rooms were spacious and clean enough to stay in my opinion .

Great location and great simple rooms!
I like how easy, simple and convivent the hotel was.
It is in the heart of XimenDing. I like the whole feel of the hotel is very "apartmental" feel.

not too shabby
Not restrained at all, comfortable stay
My first impression of the hotel when i arrived was scary. Firstly, the "hotel" is situated on the 4th floor of a very rundown building. Next, the lift we took was scary by itself, it was said that some fatal accident involving a 6 years old girl, so it was natural that we felt a bit nervous when we took the lift. Thirdly, there was nobody attending to the "lobby", there wasn't even a decent signboard for the hotel as they merely wrote the hotel name on a piece of piece. We had to call the person in charge over phone in order to get a room. It was troublesome as we had to wait for a 2 hours sim card activation. We were able to go into any room as long as it wasn't locked. the policy of this hotel is that during checkout, the key will be left on the desk in the room. There will not be anyone attending to you during checkout. However the room was surprisingly comfortable, the bathroom was clean too. It is ideally located in one alley leading to Ximending which is convenient. A mere 2 minutes walk will lead you to the Ximending mrt station.

It's not a hotel at all, it's only a room in a apartment building. Many unknow local people live next door.

The room smells and there are mosquitoes!!
The location is indeed pretty accessible
The hotel locates in a very quite place so it's dangerous return to our room at night.Besides, the smell of toilet never goes away which is highly irritating.Besides, the bed sheet was obviously never changed. The most disgusting thing is that we can even find people's hair on the bed sheet.Rubbish appears in the drawer.I have to say this is the worst experience concerning hotel I ever own.

Stay here if you dont have a choice
big room, but doesnt contain anything
I recommend this place only if you want to stay at Ximen, for last minute bookings and all other hotels/ hostels are fully booked. We had to stay here because the other hotel that we booked ran out of rooms. there is no reception, we called the numbers on the signboard above the door. they informed us the key was on the table. The front door of the room was unlocked. the room smelled mouldy. the sheets were dirty; there was hair left on the pillow. we had to shower 15 minutes between us to allow the water to heat up. they provided only two face towels. how are we supposed to dry ourselves with only a face towel. ended up sleeping on top of the blanket because we were not sure if the bedsheet would be clean. we left first thing the next morning.

Dirty and dusty room, no reception
Very close to Ximending
The room itself is a nightmare. Though we shouldn't complain esp with such a price but the cleanliness is really a nightmare. The photos posted on the website is not reflective of what we seen and stayed. And with no hotel signage in the area, we were practically given a run-around. But then, the location inside Ximending area is very convenient. However, if given the choice of choosing, we might choose a pricier hotel which can provide clean room
