“I'll just say it outright, the review is real.”
We used it as a couple of two. After searching for several accommodations, we chose Tambuli because it seemed cost-effective, and this choice was without regret. First, you have to pass through the security (gate) twice when entering the accommodation, which provides good security. Second, the reception at the accommodation is friendly. The deposit is 2,000 pesos per night, totaling 4,000, and it can be deducted from what I used. Third, the food and room service are great, and the wood-fired pizza with all meats is genuinely delicious. My girlfriend seems to have drunk mango juice three times. It's that much like real mango. We bought fresh mango fruit and tried it outside, but they said this place was the most delicious. Fourth, the pool is designed for the whole family, and it has three water slides, which are roughly at the level of the old water parks in Korea. It's not extremely good, but the setup is nice, and it's well maintained, so it's pleasing to the eyes. Fifth, there is a gym (fitness center), but you need to bring proper shoes to use it. I only brought slippers, so I couldn't use it. Sixth, there are no places within walking distance nearby because right in front of the accommodation is somewhat like a refugee camp, so it's better to take a ride out. This is a bit of a downside in terms of location, but still, if you make a rough reservation at a spa in front of JPARK and ask them to send a ride, they'll send you. You can go out, see some sights, and come back. Just remember that tuk-tuks or odos cannot enter the gate, only taxis can. If you take Grab or a taxi, they will take you to the lobby. However, getting into Tambuli from JPARK by car only takes about 3 minutes, so no one comes in. It's troublesome to pass through that busy street, haha. I came in on an odometer and walked from the gate. It was a good workout! Seventh, it's easy to catch a Grab to the airport from Tambuli. Eighth, I forgot to explain the inside of the room, so I'm late. First of all, the air conditioning is very strong, and for humidity, you can use a dehumidifier or leave it running when you go out. And when you go out, be sure to set it to dehumidify; once the room is clean, they switch it back to air conditioning. Also, bring a shower filter. I had to use the sink, but when I was washing my face, I saw some sand coming out of the water. They say there's nothing you can do about it, so just buy a filter. This was my first trip to Cebu, Philippines, and after checking out various places, Tambuli is almost at the cutting-edge level. I initially realized how underdeveloped Cebu is when it comes to civilization. I was worried it would be a place where crimes might happen, as I'm quite suspicious, haha. But the people seem nicer than in Vietnam. In the meantime, since some people have tasted the money, there isn't much solicitation on the streets, but it's manageable, and I won't go see the whale sharks next time. It really feels exhausting, haha. I am willing to go back to Tambuli, as I found it nice and affordable too!
