Is great for families. Plenty to do. The only part that we had an issue with is that everything is for ages 6yrs and up. 2 of my children are under that age so all they could do was play in the sand. There was no children's food options, young children's activities. We also missed out seeing around the island because there was no 4WD available. Walking to the wreaks with young children is a nightmare. Other than that we couldn't fault our room or the resort. The staff were great. The weather beautiful and even though a cruise ship was in port you didn't really notice the excess people to much.

Nice stay to meet and greet the dolphin”
Stayed here for holiday 1hr20m by boat from Brisbane will get you to sandy island of Tangalooma. You can visit here casual, or you can stay overnight here. My suggestion, stay overnight, so you can relax in the quiet surrounding. The highlight will be handfeeding the dolphin. You can have many activites, including sand tobogganing, dive into shipwreck, whale spotting, helicopter ride... Surely it will cost you money, but just enjoy it. The properties where we are staying is 3* standard, laundry room is there. food is basic with resort price, its ok if you intend to stay 2-3 nights overthere. Quite happy here, the dolphin feeding is as expected

Great but need to work on eco plan, def recommend ”
Pros: location, not too many people, snorkeling easy to get to, the copper grill veggie meal, enthusiastic eco rangers Cons: unfortunately very very few recycling bins available (some on boat on way over) and a lot of single use items (especially default being coffee in takeaway cup/lid and pizza boxes)... Would rather the eco plan get looked at so default is reusable items with optional single use items Will be back though!

    Great resort”
Pro: lots of activities to sign up for (with charge and without) decent food at the restaurants Con: there is only one store that sell food and snacks, with limited selection and of course not cheap. If staying for a few days it would be best to bring food in and cook there.

Great place. Make sure you take the correct boat to the island as if you take the Micat that is 1/3 rd the price that lands up the beach 1 mile, they wont help you if you have roller luggage. Only thing that really made me upset about this Resort.

Tangalloma , is no go ”
Staff have a very poir attitude As i booked with Agoda, and cheaper , we were put in poor accommodation , next to helipad and other noisy vehicles for hill climbing etc Was told vehicle storage at fery departure was $15 per day . They don’t say or make it clear that their day means from midnight to midnight . Not a 24 hour clock, do my one day depart mid- day and return 10,00 am the next day to them equals 2 days , $30 fee.i don’t mind the fee as such but to me is dishonest Generally the staff were less than interested in listening and addressing issues

Island with lots of activities to play”
Although it is not cheap, the activities such as sand sliding, ATV, dolphin feeding etc are interesting. The food in the island is in fact not bad, and you can easily buy something and make your dinner from the supermarket instead.

I was a celebrant to perform a wedding booked in the marquee on the resort. The staff were very obliging and understanding that I did not need to vacate a room at 10am and be back in another at 2pm, when the wedding was about to start at 2.30pm. They arranged a late check out and a simultaneous check in my 'other room'. I could get ready in comfort, and enjoy the wedding, the reception and the wonderful resort easily. Sarah

    A lovely family friendly resort”
Most areas of the resort are family friendly and staff are very accomodating however the larger windows overlooking the pool in the unit are a safety hazard to young children wanting to climb up and peer over. Also the lock to the main door didn't work.

    awesome holiday”
Our villa was very clean and had a great view. Staff were all so helpful and cheerful. Enjoyed the feeding of the dolphins, and also the bird feeding. Beach cafe food was very nice. They never stopped, due to the regular ferry passengers that arrived. Loved the holiday so much, I hope to come over again, from the UK.

A good resort for family holiday”
Dolphin feeding; Chinese restaurant that fits our appetite; beautiful beach with panoramic sunset view
Very suited resort for family with young/teenage children because the resort comes with all sorts of activities suited for them. They provided the tools/equipment for all the sports activities in the resort for free (small security deposit applies) such as basketball, table tennis, badminton, archery, mini driving range etc. Additional tour packages available to nearby attractions at standard tour charges. So expect to spend more if you want to enjoy all the attractions. Breakfast varieties serve our family preferences. Dolphin feeding is very interesting and was the highlight of our trip there. We looked forward to feeding the dolphin very much except the feeding time was extremely short that we spent less than a minute to get in the water and feed the dolphin. Overly too many peoples reduced the feeding time tremendously. Another shortcoming is the in-room floor was not thoroughly cleaned as we could feel the sand on the floor when we walked around in the room.
