Would choose to stay again”
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is accessible, easy to call cabs to get around. The room is nice (business executive) room and well-lit. Amenities are good. Staff are very very helpful though they speak limited English except the reception desk staff (Concierge staff could really only communicate in Putonghua) There is no room service menu but the concierge will ask you what food you'd like and go ask the restaurants if they could make it. Order simple meals and you should be able to get what you want.
Wet carpet and No air con!”
When I got I to the room, the carpet on the floor near the bathroom is all wet (like flooded). I called the reception and they sent someone up. They explained that the carpet is wet because the previous customer had taken a shower and flooded the floor. All they did is just to give me a few towels to put on the floor. In the evening when I went back to the hotel, I found the AC is not working and the room is at 29C. I called down again and they told me the AC only operates from 10am to 10pm! All they can do is to send someone up to open the windows! I spent an sleepless night in a 29C room with no AC and wet floor.
Unbelievable hotel with convenience location”
Even though I have a hard time going through their hotel main web site for more information of this hotel, but I trusted its location and the photos on agoda for this hotel and book this hotel. hotel room is clean, service is great, perfect location considered that the western financial district was closed by and the subway station is just around the corner. big shopping mall right besides the hotel with supermarket available. national museum on the opposite side. hotel is easy to fine and in high quality under such price.
Excellent Hotel - Good value for money”
thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and would recommend staying here.staff were friendly. i used the swimming pool and gym during my stay and enjoyed the opportunity to do so. room was so relaxing and comfortable. unfortunately didn't have a chance to enjoy the restaurant but the coffee lounge on ground floor was good. certainly would stay here again.underground was nearby and easy to use. only downside but this is common in most hotels in china is having to always go down to the lobby to use wi - fi. would be much more convienent if one could have a connection in the room .
New hotel in great location ”
Location: Is located at the west side of the city, right opposite capital museum and a shopping mall . MRT station is just less than 5 mins walk. Hotel: A hotel managed by Hainai group which is rather reputable, the entire experience was good, reception was attentive. Room: Huge bathroom, clean room with contemporary design. For entertainment, there are several international channels including my favour channels - Channelnewsasia and AXN.
Séjour au Tangla Hotel”
Excellent hotel although I was extremely disappointed that the pool was closed for the whole Chinese New Year festival as I had chosen the hotel for the pool. I was also a bit disappointed with the lack of choice in the room service menu for snacks. The hotel staff had excellent manners and upgraded me for a suit to apologise for the close pool.
Very good stay, comfortable room, good connections in terms of Transport to the major parts of Beijing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bit disappointed in the restaurant, had one meal, np prices on menu, drinks expensive, although food was good. Best bit was the local surrounding restaurants, all styles and cuisines. Cheap, and great if you like eating 'local' all within walking distance, although tucked away off the main drag. Great stay, even the smog wasn't too bad
Best hotel ever”
I loved the service of the TangLa Hotel in Beijing because they have a smile in their faces and treat you with a lot of respect. Definitly if I have another oportunity I´ll be back and will recomended it to my collegues.
Excellent modern hotel in a great location”
Overall we were very happy with this hotel. Comfortable bed. Plenty of space, especially in the bathroom. Great location, just a few hundred metres away from the Muxidi train station. Nice heated swimming pool.
New and lovely hotel”
It was a stop over night in Beijing, the hotel's location is amazing, just near by the central of the City, and walk 5 mins there was a big shopping center, it was easy to find local restaurant, the subway station just 10 mins walking distance, everything is good.
Good hotel and allow early check in”
Located in the central of city, and near to the sub way about 5 mins walking distance. We arrived to hotel around 9am and they have allowed us to make early check in. Room is clean and well maintain.
Very nice Hotel , In nice location ”
Tangla Hotel is far better than any UK Hotels I stay in . The staff are friendly and the room was very nice with good view . Bathroom high standard . Mostly I slept very well in the very nice bed . only downside was the fridge was not working .
Nice luxury hotel ”
very nice looking lobby, nice deluxe room - hotel is very clean, free mineral water was provided every single day we stayed there. close to city metro (muxidi station) and mcdonalds (15号 fuxingmen outer street) is not very far away (however i enjoyed local food in the same building's 5th floor - you have to buy a card and load money on it). would recommend this hotel to anyone - remember to use agoda special deals - this will save you a lot. not all staff speaks english, but they are nice, friendly and will assist you when needed.
Lovely Hotel, Great Location, Lousy Staff”
The hotel was great for leisure and work - the desk was much appreciated as I managed to get a couple of half-days of work in. The hotel's Internet was rubbish though, so we relied on mobile broadband. Desk chair was also way too low to use, so the extra pillows about the room proved useful. As in most upmarket Chinese hotels, don't touch anything in the bar or take any more water than the free bottles, unless you're on an expense account & don't particularly care for your employers. Everythng in the room can be had on the street below for 1/4 the price or less. Staff were completely indifferent. In one occasion I asked the concierge for a small cardboard box. He spent about three minutes then suggested I go down the street to the post office. He could have run to his kitchen and fetched one for me, but really didn't care to. In another instance we entered our room to find one if our (unopenable) windows was open, a window handle (not supplied with the room) was on the floor, and the room had a faint odor of cigarette smoke. I called the front desk, but they didn't send any ome up. I corralled some maintenance staff in the hall who at best offered to change our room. No apologies, no indication that this wasn't just standard practice. Back to the pros, there's a spectacular museum across the street, and the neighborhood has a number of great restaurants. We didn't eat in the hotel, as it was seriously overpriced, but local restaurants (where no English was spoken) were patient and accommodating of our pointing at menu items and use of an online translation tool.
Very nice hotel in nice location”
The hotel was very nice and upscale. I was able to purchase train tickets right at the hotel which was a plus. It is very close to the subway entrance on line 1 and so was easy to get anywhere we wanted. The food was rather expensive, but MacDonalds was right next door for a small breakfast. Thew concierge was very helpful also.
Nice hotel in the business area of Beijing. ”
The rooms are a bit small and run down. Bed is really comfortable. Entrance of the hotel is beautiful. Wifi only in the public areas. Breakfast is the best I have ever had in a hotel. It's yuan p.p. but it's worth it. There is a metro station about 7 minutes walk from the hotel.
Grand hotel, big rooms, nice stay”
I opted for the executive room which was really big and of a unique layout. The bathroom was extraordinarily large and quite impressive. The airconditioning is not very good and people who like low temperatures should avoid this hotel. The hotel has free broadband but breakfast has to be paid for separately.
terrible service- 3 star at most”
We are residents in Beijing but chose to spend Christmas Eve at the Tang La Hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by a rude front desk team who did not even acknowledge us and simply threw the key over the desk after simply saying; "passport" The hotel itself and the corridor leading to the room smelt like fried food but luckily the room didn’t and was acceptable. Small details bring the hotel down to a typical 3 star (chipped tables, rips in carpets, stains and mold in the bathroom, especially around the bath) We were surprised when we looked through the room service menu to learn that a soup cost 12 pounds and a burger cost nearly 20.
Great location and service ”
highly recommended for business traveler who are going for a short getaway with a great location just beside the chang an street, comportable room and staff always with smile, and lovely small gift. i think i will choose it again in my next trip to beijing.enjoy your stay in tangla hotel.
convenient location, very quiet, economic price”
luxury hotel, bit worn... but very quiet and handy Central location. Staff unobtrusive but always there to help. Average size room ~ big comfortable bed. Would recommend this hotel for price and convenience...
