Those who had stayed there would definitely will come back again, as the location is so convenient to night market, mrt station and bus station. Spacious and clean bathroom, but bedroom is a bit small but its okay, cafe area is cozy and relax.

Great location but no housekeeping services provided during stay”
Location is good, just right opposite of Metro station, 7 mins walk to Shilin night market. Hotel got provided free brew coffee, tea, bread, hot drinking water and washer + dryer for guests use. Just one thing not satisfied is they don’t provide housekeeping during my stay for 3 nights.

Very nice hotel”
I stayed in Tango Inn Taipei JiHe for multiple times now. I love the fact that it's right next to the MRT station and is close to one of the most popular night market, Shi Lin. Room is quiet and clean. I also appreciate them for providing complimentary light breakfast, snacks, coffee and tea through the day.

Great service and location”
A few steps away from Jiantan MRT station. I enjoyed the coffee and fruits they served at the breakroom everyday. The staffers were nice and thoughtful. We stayed at 2 different rooms for a total of 2 weeks. Both rooms were pretty small. Probably difficult to walk around the room if you have more than 1 luggage. One of the rooms on the 3rd floor has rusted window seal in the shower and near the headboard, which made me feel a bit unease.

Small room but 5-star comfort ”
The inn is just outside Jiantan Mrt exit 2. Super convenient and yet quiet location, just the way I like it. Bed is luxurious and gives me the feeling of 5 star hotel with just 4 star price. Room is small but enough for 1 person.

what can I say.. the best hotel and value for money. the hotel only have a few rooms and that's make it the plus point, if you like to get a quiet good night sleep after long day in Taipei.. location is the best too, just cross the street from Jiantan (red line) station.. The room is clean and modern design, love it.. the bed so comfortable till I sleep the whole night so peacefully hehehe About the staff, oh my they are awesome... 👍👍👍👍👍👍 all the staff are friendly and helpful.. nothing bad experience I had in Tango Inn Taipei.. i will definitely stay again in Tango Inn Taipei when I back in Taipei 😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I seldom praise a hotel and I'm a cleanliness freak. Tango Inn although small, but it delivers the best hotel for its price! located 10 steps away from the mrt station. 5 mins away from shilin night market. Toilet seat has a warmer. Shower pressure excellent. Staff are warm and cheerful. Though they didn't provide breakfast, but the lounge has got small bits and free 24 hours coffee or tea with an ice dispenser. washing machine located at the courtyard which is free. Room although small but very cozy. However, as the hotel is only 3 storey high, noise from the streets are inevitable. Will be my 1st choice for hotel stay in taipei in the future. Please keep it up!

Convenient location and Friendly Staff made our stay very pleasant!”
Location is next to Jiantan MRT, Shilin Market is 5 minute walk. Other attractions are easily accessible by train or bus. Very convenient especially to first time Taiwan travellers. All the staff are friendly and accomodating and will help you plan your sightseeing but special mention to Stella Hung for all the help extended to us during our stay. The only downside is the size of the room, kinda small with little space to navigate and put the suitcases. But since we are out most of the day doing our sightseeing, this is not a big deal for us. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we also loved the unlimited coffee, milk tea and the yummy pastries. I will definitely recommend Tango Inn to friends.

The staff took to consideration that it was out anniversary and prepared a lovely card with drawings and a cheesecake. It was very sweet and thoughtful. The staff are all very forthcoming, proactive in offering assistance and suggestions. I was clueless of where to go for a haircut and one staff promptly suggested a great salon with competitive price. The room is cozy but the design was a bit weird. The toilet and shower room are separated. The basin is outside of the toilet facilities. 2 things to improve on would be. 1) no ventilator in the shower room hence the ceiling is musty, mouldy and would get worst over time. The shower room needs to be air else it would have a stale mouldy smell. 2) you step out of the shower room it is the bedroom carpet. The longevity of the carpet and the smell of the room in long time is questionable. I would suggest if tango Inn wants to continue its awesome hotel in this great location some tweaks would be needed or very frequent refurbish be needed.

Perfect Location to stay in Shilin”
Loved that Tango was just located about 150m away from the Jintan Station and about 700m from the Shilin Night Market. Room with the balcony was perfect for chilling with a beer and people watch. Room size was decent and with all the required amenities. My wife and I had great sleeps the 4 nights we were there. The bed just sucks you in. Cleanliness was immaculate and the staff was helpful and courteous. I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here 4 nights, and wow, I felt lucky to have found this hotel for my first trip to Taipei. This hotel reminded me of a really nice hostel except with private rooms. I liked it much better than the more prestigious and centrally located Cosmos Hotel where I stayed the night before. Basically despite its budget price, this whole hotel was in great condition and spotlessly clean, two things that matter a lot to me in a hotel. On top of those, other positives: - Friendly staff - Free self-service laundry - Lounge with indoor and outdoor seating, a computer, tea, coffee and free sandwiches on Friday and Saturday - Room bathroom, especially rainfall showerhead - I liked the location - see more below What would make it even better: - View from the room: My room faced another - Room was very small but fine for one person with carry-on luggage - Could hear noise in the hallway from my room. Not enough to disturb my sleep. Location depends on what you're into. I liked it.

Great location with washing machine in own room and shared area”
MTR jiantan 2 just one minute walking distance. Shilin night market 6 minutes walking distance. If you stay longer period it’s so convenient if you book the room with washing machine (got dryer function) in your balcony. Detergent and softener were provided. We loved it so much. Please take note that the room is quite small indeed. If you have two big luggage, then you totally cannot fully open the luggage. But the room was very clean with amenities provided. Hair dryer is mobile type. While three international sockets were built in on the wall. No breakfast provided, but there was a common sitting area and simple snacks such as bread, sandwiches, salads and fruits, coffee and tea were provided 24 hours, served until finish. You can bring your own food bought from shilin night market, and microwave if needed.

Excellent Stay”
I stayed here for three out of six nights in Easley would’ve been happy to stay my entire trip here. Very clean. Very quiet. Good location right across the street from the Jiantan train station. Five minute walk to the Shilin night market. Friendly staff. Excellent free breakfast with cappuccino machine. Comfortable bed. Rooms are very small but functional and the shower and bathroom is excellent. There are some nice touches in the bathroom like a free shaving kit and other small items. Free bottled water. The USB port on the desk was great for charging electronics. American style power outlets. My room was on the back side of the hotel. I had a balcony room with the washing machine on it. If you decide to do a wash, make sure you leave plenty of time for drying. I very much enjoyed my stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it, especially for solo travelers. Its only a couple of minutes to the MTR station and about 10 minutes walk to Shilin night market , the biggest night market in Taipei. Cold sandwiches are provided on weekends otherwise its just Bread and fruit plus coffee on week days . Fast wifi is available for free and the staff are helpful and speak English well.

As it was my first time in Taipei, I didn’t know the area or the quality of accommodation. I booked based on location and reviews...and I was not disappointed! The rooms, while small, were well appointed with obvious attention to detail. Beds were comfortable and spotless. The bathroom rivaled any 5-Star bathroom I’ve had, including a quite impressive warm toilet seat! The cafe area is lovely and the ready-made food that is available is quite healthy and fresh. Overall I’d say the only iffy issue was noise on the road/metro. My room was ground floor and faced the metro station. While not overwhelmingly noisy, I was glad I had my ear plugs so I could be blissfully unaware! The staff was friendly and helpful. If you want a really nice small hotel near the night market and central to many other Taipei attractions, you will lot be disappointed.

Cosy, convenient hotel near Shilin Night Market”
If you intend to tour Shilin Night Market often, this hotel is a 10-min walk away. Location Directly opposite Jian Tan MRT Station. 10-min walk from Shilin Night Market. Room Took the room that came with a balcony and washing machine. Managed to wash some of my clothes during my stay. Comfortable and clean with toiletries provided. Toilet has seat warmer and de-odouriser.
