AMAZING SUNSET ”
The staff were amazing, the hotel was clean the aircon made a massive difference, the breakfast being brought into our room each morning was a luxurious touch. Yes, This hotel was expensive but well worth it, beautiful sunset to watch every evening, bring mosquito repellent though. They have a great fruity cocktail selection with multiply happy hours that kept us going! The beach is not one for swimming on however they provide onsite kayaking and free daily transfers to and from chaweng beach. I would definitely stay here again, sunsets are so worth it.
Value for Money”
Location is hiding from the road, no signage in the main road if you go there first time you may lost the way ( same as me), the res is nice pool villa is not relly private only some few of plants hiding you from people
Friendly Staffs and Big Room Space”
We booked the villa come with 2 rooms and private pool. We have arrived around 11AM (Thailand time), they just let's us check up without any delay or extra charge. The room come with jaguzzi and the bathroom are big. The pool also big (if 2 rooms villa). Very private and the air-con of room is cold, so we have good rest after whole day hopping island. But we have some shower water problem for few times, the water just stop at the half way shower. This villa near to Big Buddha and Big Guan Yin Temple. In front of the villa, there have not beach as Chaweng Beach. Over all are ok.
Nice villa, pool and view”
Well designed villa with nice pool and view. We had the sunset pool villa, it was great. Location is good if you want quite area but near to the Big Buddha, walking distance. Tango provide shuttle bus to Chawang as well for more busy parties...There is kayak and Bike free of charge that we used many times.
Fantastic hotel ++”
Wonderful villas with amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. Our room rate included a NYE 7-course gourmet dinner and it was simply amazing! The breakfast was served every morning in front of the bedroom by the villa's private pool, really yummy and satisfying. A bonus was the cut kitten that adopted us during our stay, clean and purring all the time!
Wonderful hotel, lovely rooms, bang on ocean”
We loved it here and would definitely return. Staff were absolutely brilliant, the breakfast was excellent and the rooms are superb. They each have a small (cold) pool and areas to sunbathe. A couple of the size are quite small but those with large outdoor spaces are amazing. Lovely time there and a wonderfully quiet area. We hired a car and it was easy to get around from the to other parts of the island. We tend to avoid Chewang as it is too commercial, but they have a service every day to take you there and back for free as well as to Bophut beach down the road. Only issue was the lack of sand where the beach was supposed to be. After the pool was a decked area which had a shear drop off into the sea. We had expected a beach but the sea laps the decking! Not sure if it is seasonal or always like that...no there seems to have a straight answer. All in all, a wonder place to laze the days away.
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was great to have the our owned private pool. We also have a great breakfast as it was served right in your own verandah facing the private pool. There are also a couple of breakfast choices including the oriental ( congee and dimsum). It is very closed to the big buddha and around 15mins ride to Chaweng. The hotel also provides free bicycle and kayaks nut we did not used it. Lastly, the staff is very helpful at the front desk also while serving the breakfast. They patiently explained us about our queries such as the close by attraction, bike rentals, airport transfer.
A fantastic place with attention to details”
Very nice hotel I would recommend to anybody who goes there as a couple. lovely private en suite villa with a great attention given to detail. Pier access to the sea. The beach access isn't the dream one in this part. Breakfast is like a dream, served outside on the terrasse, with a great selection up to your taste. I would go there again.
During our stay, we enjoyed the absolute quiet- as we were the only couple. We didn't know at the time of booking that the pool and bar were closed. Not a problem we had a wonderful tomantic time together
Tango Luxe ”
Stayed with my wife for 4 nights here. We took the junior villa with plunge pool. The location and surrounding greenery was very beautiful. The outside area of the villa with the plunge pool and sitting area was gorgeous in the day. At night, we felt it could have been better lit. It was quite dark to use the plunge pool after the sun sets. The room was decent fixed and super comfortable bed made things really cozy, especially when it was raining outside! The bathroom was super sized with a huge Roman type bathtub, separate rainshower and commode. We loved our baths there! They provided a coffee machine and electric kettle, both of which didn't work well though. Breakfast was served to our villa every morning. You can choose from about 6 or 7 types of meals ( e.g American breakfast, Spanish, British, and so on). Although the breakfast was decent we felt they were all pretty much similar with just minor differences. They have an Oriental restaurant with a Chinese theme design. Nice looking but when we dined there one night we saw a rat scuttling along by our table so needless to say, we didn't dine there again. The outdoir pool by the sea is a thing of beauty! Overlooking the Big Buddha statue in the distance, it is a perfect place to catch the sunset on a clear evening sipping on a drink. Unfortunately they decided to close the outdoor pool for renovation till mid November for our last 2 nights, which was a bit of a surprise. They gave us a dining and spa voucher as a replacement. The staff are very polite. Coming from Singapore, where good customer service is not easy to find, we had no complaints about the Tango Luxe service staff! You can borrow bicycles for free of you want to explore the surrounds. A scooter rental place is just outside the hotel if you would prefer that. 24hr convenience store also less than 10min walk away. There are no restaurants nearby. You would have to get your transport out for some decent food joints. Overall we really liked our stay,
Great place to get away”
This place was perfect for our vacation. Right on the water hut because there is no beach access meant it was quiet and you could just enjoy the water from your chair or the pool. Location is tucked away from the busy tourist area which is nice. An interesting Wat across the street and walking distance to the Big buddha. Several little restaurant and bar options around but not noisy. Only advice to make this place better is to have more than 2 paddles for the kayaks since there were more than one kayak. We had to wait for a couple to return before we could get in our kayak because they were using the only two paddles.
A personal piece of paradise”
My girlfriend and I visited and stayed in a 2 roomed Villar. We loved the bath and personal pool. Every morning after our breakfast was delivered to our room we enjoyed a swim in our private pool, which included massage jets. I would be very happy in a single room as we hardly went into the second bedroom. Staff were always happy to accommodate our every need. I highly recommend their pancakes for breakfast
Excellent hospitality from the team, thumbs up
Amazing vibe. Great facilities
Ideal Suite for Couple”
Everything is fine. The swimming pool comes with a fantastic view and swing bed where you can chill AF. As for the room, the junior suite plunge pool is not really clean maybe it's because there are plants around. The bed is comfortable, bathroom is the most satisfied part for me. It is spacious with a gigantic customized bath tub. All the amenities provided are lovely though. Another lovely part is their breakfast. Best breakfast i ever had. You could choose various type of breakfast and they'll serve you the next day in your room at appointed timing. So there you go breakfast by the pool. I am a happy customer overall.
Magical place to stay very clean and tidy the staff are always cleaning ”
Magical place to stay, bested place on Samui to catch the sunset we had it all to ourselves. The staff are very friendly and helpful the food is great. All villers have a private pool as well as a Roman bath there’s also so a large pool to watch the sunset form with a bar for all your cocktails
We had the most amazing time at the tango luxe. Upon arrival we were greeted with great hospitality and they informed us we got a free upgrade to an amazing villa with a larger private pool. The facilities are perfectly maintained and the staff was the most helpful and friendly you could ask for. We got a couples massage but instead of an oil massage they gave us the after sun aloe package. After realizing the mistake they gave us free oil massages to make it right. The bar staff was also extremely helpful and accommodating. It is a ways away from all the action so if you're looking for a secluded and potentially romantic setting then you should book tango now. Overall I would give it a 10/10 and can't speak more highly of this amazing resort and staff.
Stayed in the sunset villa and it was worth every penny. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pools were clean and breakfast served in your room each morning. Also a short walk to nearby restaurants and bars or a short taxi to the Fisherman's village so we had the best of both worlds.
Good but needs maintenance ”
Really friendly staff and breakfast and dinner are delicious. The room was great with a nice private swimming pool. The only down side for the room was that we found some hair from previous visitors in the shower head in the bathroom. That was a mehhh... we cleaned it ourselves but I'm sure the staff would've done it if we had mentioned it to them. Also the public swimming swimming pool can really use maintenance. A few tiles are missing and the plaster between the tiles seriously need renewal. The terrace borders with the beach but only at night the sea water gets high enough to swim or kajak. But it'll be dark by that time. I would come back here if maintenance was completed. If you have to leave very early the next morning you can ask for a breakfast to go the evening before. They will hand it over to you the next morning. A pharmacy and a 7- eleven are within a 5 mins walk.
Had the most beautiful stay, great memories made. ”
I travelled with a friend, we original were staying two nights as our whole trip was semi on a budget but thought it was worth splurging for the extra night. The resort is peaceful, relaxing and beautiful, and the private pool with beachside pool is all you need for a change of scenery. We are really happy we stayed in this area, as the main touristy area, Chaweng, wasn't what we were after for our stay in Samui. Bikes are free to use and this was great for exploring. The rooms are honestly so nice, and breakfast brought to the room each morning is a real treat. Beautiful resort, we had the best time!
