Quiet room with great view ”
The road to Tanote is paved now, so it’s easy to access this quiet little hilltop hotel. Beautiful views overlooking Tanote Bay. (The beaches on Koh Tao are crowded these day. Go for the hilltop views rather than beach front). Hilarious people watching as tourists try to navigate the steep road. Clean, spacious, and cheery rooms. Softest bed I slept on in Thailand (which isn’t saying much. They’re all boards). I wish I could have stayed here my entire time oh Koh Tao, but found a last minute deal and thus the room was only available for the first couple nights of my stay.

Beautiful clean room in the hills of Tanote Bay! For the early birds, great sunrise the morning and the bay is perfect for snorkeling (baby sharks, turtles and so on)! 5’ away with a scooter to the Mae Haad Pier! I recommend this place !

Steep hill down to Tanote Bay. Unclear what the hotel's actual name is. Doesn't have a restaurant as stated and there aren't any that good nearby. Cleaning service left the bathroom completely wet and we found a gum on the window frame. Reception staff barely spoke English. Pickup and drop-off service was good. Was happy to be able to check-in early, although later than what the staff told us at first. Comfy beds and incredible view. Might be a budget option for those travelling by motorbike (we didn't).

Our room was amazing, the views outstanding!! The bed was big and comfortable, spacious room and nice bathroom with toiletries supplied. The balcony was massive with sunloungers, ideal. Depending what you’re after, the location is good- 10mins walk to be beach. On the other hand, it’s about a 10/15min moped ride to the main town area and the roads are VERY windey and steep so would need to be confident on a bike (the only negative). The owners were lovely and have bikes for hire and can organise taxi service. Also have a cute dog called laté😌

The place is very clean and the host Pote is super helpful and friendly. He gave me a free ride back to the ferry at the end of my stay and another one back to town. There is a thai restaurant across the street from the hotel open til 4pm. If you don't drive a motorbike on steep windy roads it can be a challenge to get around. You have to be fit to climb a hill from the Tante beach and there's not much else to see in walking distance. The room on the top floor is very spacious and has an huge balcony with stunning view of Tanote bay. It is very peaceful and quiet.

First off, the taxi drivers and signage on the place is known as Tanote Good View, not @ Tanote! E mails are not answered by the pleasant host. Stayed on the top floor with large balcony overlooking Tanote Bay. Lovely views. Funny watching people on scooters as they turn the corner and see the steep incline. Large clean room with fridge, air con and hot water shower. Bring your own kettle etc. Not supplied in room. Friendly helpful host who assisted us up and down the steep slope/ steps with our luggage. He also helped us arrange scooter hire from an honest Guy who videos the bike prior to hiring = 250b per day. Have to leave your passport but we had no problem when giving the bike back. You will need a scooter to get around but if you do not normally ride one it is not advisable to learn here, very steep hills to negotiate. It is a very steep 20 min walk down to the bay. We walked down and up the first day and my legs are still stiff. It is about 3kms from the pier and 400baht taxi cost each way. Taxis are very expensive on Koh Tao. No free pick up option as it is a smaller business. It would have been an extra nice touch to have sunloungers on the terrace. Really enjoyed our stay in one of the best bays for snorkelling. Also for watching people jump off the large boulder. Nice restaurant close by with great views too.

I thought take good deal for 1 week but was horrible!”
No really staff there only 1 Person most time no there do everything and work in other hotel as well.. clean only until 13:00 because busy need bring staff specially. I should had upgrading room free but telling me all week fully booked I was checking but all was available in website for the all week and later. The worst things is last 2 days no have shower because water no warm only cold the same staff do everything try fixing but still no work I try more than hour make it work without success. The road on top hill is near room and windows not soundproof. The curtain is not good, it does not cover or darken the whole room, although there is a beautiful view, but with sunrise you cannot close your eyes from 6 in the morning. And even not refund me or change room last 2 nights so shameful! Destroy my stay in ko tao only waited to go from that place!

Chambre propre au calme et bien décorée . Belle vue. Très belle plage à 15 mn à pieds avec restaurants. Attention pour vous y rendre, une descente abrupte le long de la route qu il vous faudra remonter au retour. Dommage que l hôtel ne propose aucun de service de restauration ou de navette pour se déplacer.

Super schönes Zimmer groß, modern liebevoll gestaltet. Wow, so ein Bad in Thailand.. Sehr selten. Große Terasse mit Holz Möbel die im Zimmer bereit standen. Guter Zimmerservice mit ausreichend Wasserversorgung. Um an die Strände zu kommen ist dringend ein Motorroller nötig. Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Wer das erste mal nach Koh Tao reist: Die Insel ist extrem hügelig, Rollerfahren will also gekonnt sein. Oder das Portemonnaie zum Taxi fahren gut gefüllt- das ist dort nämlich sehr teuer. Pick-Up Service günstiger als die Taxis, die man so kriegt. Nimmt man doch ein freies Taxi dann sollte man den alten Namen nennen: „Good View Tanote“. Unterkunft ist außerhalb der Ortschaften, daher ist man auf den Roller eigentlich angewiesen. Man wird dafür mit einer wahnsinnigen Aussicht in Richtung Sonnenaufgang und ruhigen Nächten belohnt. Unser Zimmer war relativ klein aber stylisch eingerichtet und ziemlich sauber. Die Mitarbeiter, speziell Goong, sind unglaublich hilfsbereit & tun alles, um einen das Leben zu erleichtern. Voor + Ligging (mooie ligging als je fit genoeg bent . ) + Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding + Personeel ( nog wel vriendelijk .) Nadelen - Hygiëne ( is nog wel proper bij aankomst maar je moet zelf overal achternalopen en vragen voor room service, clean up . ) - Faciliteiten Mooie ligging, op zich wel mooie grote kamers . Gebruikelijke Thais resort waarvan de eigenaren vaak in Bangkok of in het buitenland wonen en het runnen van hun resort vaak over laten aan andere mensen, die vaak niet de juiste kennis hebben voor het runnen van een zaak ( die nog wel hun best doen maar de kennis ontbreekt gewoon .) . Als individu of koppel zou ik dit resort nog wel aanbevelen, maar met kinderen of als je net iets meer verwacht misschien even verder zoeken . Persoonlijk zou ik nog wel teruggaan best wel mooie en rustige resort . 3/5
