A beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend.
For years I have heard how great Tapatio Springs is, but there are two totally different offerings. The rebuilt main reception, restaurant and bar is great. Nice, clean and a very high end place. However, get your room keys and head back in time, as the rooms, while nicely painted, are stuck in in the 80's. There is no reason that anyone should ever pay anywhere close to $200 per night for those rooms. The shower area has so much water staining and wood rot everywhere and then the actual construction of the buildings makes you realize that paying $100's per night would be a ripoff. In the end, if this site offers under $200 per night then ok, but otherwise look somewhere else.
The room was extremely clean and cozy. There was a wedding during our stay but accommodated us with our needs immediately. The trip was complete with Live Music Saturday night for the hotel guests. We were so pleased with the grounds we will visit again soon!
I enjoyed staying here, but was really disappointed with housekeeping. We stayed 6 nights and never could get them to come freshen up the room. We also needed towels and toilet paper and had to go buy our own at Walmart

Good spot for family group of 12. Just enough to keep the kids entertained (pool, bounce house, etc.) and the property is quaint so you don't feel overwhelmed. Room size was good for double queen and comfortable beds. Dinner service was very slow even with 5:30pm reservation, but food was very good. S'more kit was overpriced ($10) and pool drinks were pricey (when aren't they) but I appreciated the free Tesla charges on site. We recommend this resort!
