Value hotel in Min Buri”
I’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times now & typically book for 2 weeks at a time. 2 out of 3 times I was upgraded to a nicer room, with a balcony view etc. Additionally I was lucky enough to receive a newly refurbished room, which was quite an improvement over the older rooms. The staff here has always been kind, courteous, and helpful. English is a struggle with most of them, but between Google Translate and basic communication, I was able to make my requests and ask questions. The hotel itself was in good condition and becoming a bit busier now that Covid is coming to an end. The breakfast has improved somewhat, from the small 2-item Covid menu to several items, but not quite the level of their buffet, pre-Covid. The pool area was nice, with a bar and occasional evening music. Overall I’d recommend this hotel, especially if you have business in this part of town. There’s plenty of food options, both Thai and Western within a short walking distance & easy Taxi or Grab access.

Good location, Convenient and Reasonable price”
The hotel is not far from Suvanarbhumi airport. In addition it is convent for the public transportation (Taxi, airport link, BTS, etc., ). Hotel staff are friendly. Good facilities. I enjoyed staying at Tara Garden.

Great stay if in Minburi”
We were pleasantly surprised at the new room we stayed in for two nights. If you are in Minburi, this is a clean, great choice and has very pleasant staff.

Majority of staff are friendly, cleanliness is questionable as bed covers and sheets often had stains on them (sometimes questionable coloured ones too). The room had an aircon leak which we notified staff, they had maintenance come out to “fix” it but it leaked the same day. The room was covered in ants from when we first arrived, which got really bad half way through our stay with what felt like a colony staying in our room too, but towards the end it was only the odd ant. The restaurant they provide offer a room delivery service, food comes fasts and tastes good, and they have a selection of drinks which are slightly expensive but good too. The breakfast lacked. The hot water didn’t properly work and we only received hot water for about 1 minute in the shower before it turned cold. They offer laundry service I tried it once and received clothes with some marks (looked like they were dropped or dragged).

I got the basic twin room for almost 1000 bahts. Only stayed there because it was close to a day school program. Would never go back. Cup was extremely dirty and ants were in the washrooms

Not clean & nothing works”
I don't like leaving negative reviews but this place needs a big shake up, maybe even new staff because they just don't care and it shows. No WiFi, no tea or coffee in the room, not even cups. Asked for cups and was told it was not in my price. Breakfast was 1 egg with 2 pieces of toast, no coffee or tea just cheap orange juice and water. Room was really not clean with black mould on bathroom door and looked like it hadn't been cleaned after last guest. Mirrors all dusty and dirty. Nothing like the pictures...just don't stay here even if you think it's cheap it's not worth it.

Great hotel if it suits your needs”
I chose Tara Gardens as it was close to Siam Holiday Park (amusement and water slides etc attractions) where l wanted to take the 3 kids (and us two big kids :-) It was clean, satff great, rooms clean and well appointed so no complaints about the hotel (well, except maybe a limited breakfast choice). So proximity to Siam Park made it attractive and also that it's close to Suvarnabhumi Airport were it's main features. Otherwise l'd say it's too far from the centre of Bangkok if you're visiting for sightseeing.

We always stay here just after arrival to Bangkok and a few days before returning, and we never had any problem. Everything is clean, the hotel is situated in a quiet location. If you leave your room and want they clean the room, just leave the keys on receiption. The hotel has very good location - it is close to Suvarnabhumi airport (30 minutes by taxi/about 200 Bht), and also it's is close to fruit market (5 minutes walk). Moreiver, there are many thai food restaurants around + 7 Eleven shops. If you want to buy something more serious, you can go to Big C and Tesco Lotus (5-10 minutes by taxi, tuk-tuk songteo or bus). Also you can go to big Minburi market (15 minutes by tuk-tuk songteo, bus or taxi). The staff is very friendly.

Enjoyable Stay”
I enjoyed my stay at Tara Gardens very much. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was very useful having a laundry just downstairs as well which was open til late. Comfortable and clean rooms and was great value for money. One of the cheapest hotels in the area but still a high standard and fairly close to the airport. I would recommend it to others.
