The location is great… just a walking distance to the lake, which u Can enjoy the awesome sunset view. The staff is helpful, who helped me upgrade my booking as I wrongly booked a camping site instead of accommodation room 😅. Clean facilities, my suggestion, it will be good to provide some utensils (fork & spoons, plates, cups etc) in the kitchen esp for travellers like me, who dont bring it and not worth buying if just for short visit here.

Great Holiday Park”
For a Holiday Park, this place is really nice and clean. Happy about most things, even being able to rent cooking cutleries and pans at a small price. Our only quip is that the toilets are a little far as the one nearest to us is closed, but other than that, all is great! Special thanks for helping us change our booking as we made an error with our booking and topped up for the difference in pricing.

Great place to stay”
We just spent two nights here, as we wanted to take a day trip to Milford Sound. Great location, not right in the centre, but only a 10 minute walk to township. Just across the road from the lake and walkway up to Bird Sanctuary and around Milford Track. Very clean rooms, no kitchen in motel room, but access to onsite kitchen and laundry. Playground for kids and next door to a Frisbee golf course. Wpuld definitely stay here again. Good value for money and lovely staff 👍

A DELIGHTFUL PLACE WITH FRIENDLY STAFF”
Spacious room with desk & chair, table with 2 armchairs, and a big firm double bed with bedside table, as well as a mirror, 2 big windows and a heater. totally comfortable! The kitchen/lounges/bathrooms were immaculately clean. Well -equipped kitchen. All set in beautiful, well tended grounds right by the lake. Superb staff with a genuine South Island charm! Cheers for making my stay so enjoyable.

Lovely, clean and friendly with a stunning location by the lake. Enjoyed my 3 night stay here. Did I mention that that water pressure in the showers is to die for.

Right on the lake, walking distance from the shore. Wonderful facilities - clean toilets and showers, playground, kitchen, fridges, cooking stoves. Price was quite reasonable for the cabins. Beautiful grounds. A great break from a few nights of camping!

Just opposite the visitor centre and lake. Nice lake Henry behind. Stayed in the single room (Endeavor) which has a table to do work on. Communal kitchen and living is clean and cosy.

A little out of town, but facing the lake, we had the chalet, not the camp ground and it was a good sized room with cooking, ensuite and lovely view out of the window.

Solid 4-star motel accommodation”
Great value for money, given the motel a 15 min walk from the town centre. The accommodation we stayed at (Queen cabin) looked better in person than in photos. Basic and clean facilities.

The accommodation was basic but very clean and represented good value for the price we paid.. The shared bathroom and kitchin was also very clean. Everything was very good except we had two toasters to use both were broken and only 1 oven working which stop us giving the park a 5 star rating.

Peaceful environment ”
This holiday park is situated by the lake and felt relaxing staying there. The Wi-Fi signal in my unit however was rather poor and I had get out to go signal hunting.

Overall a very successful stay. My only suggestion is that the rooms are not that sound proof and it would be good if staff could stagger occupancies if not fully booked. We had come back from a tramp and needed all the sleep that we could get ! Otherwise I believe we got very good value from our stay
