spacious room, nice view, but a bit hard to find.”

nice view,, spacious room, comfortable temperature.

We booked one bedroom apartment, to our surprise, its indeed a two bedroom with one bedroom locked, so its still super spacious, though toilet is a bit small. The hotel is a bit hard to find, we hired a local driver, who is my friend's relative, he can hardly find the place, but need to ask for direction from the residents nearby. There is a small sign board at the path leading tea garden resort, it will take u another 10-15 minutes to reach from there. The road condition is uneven, u will passby a small village along the road, n a small cow farm(i dont think its open for public, it looks like just belongs one of the villagers). Advantage is that the surrounding environment is just so refreshing n relaxing, big living room n resting area, badthing is that its ther is no nearby shops or restaurants, as its in the middle of tea plantation. They do provide many kids classes, example cooking. It will be a great location if u just want to relax. For me, I hired car, so not a big trouble overall. Oh, it not far to drive from here to tangkuban perahu n ciater hot spring. the hotel has a small hot water pond, u can soak ur body there at mid nught, while the surrounding air is cold, my kids liked it. Breakfast is nice, juice is good as well. My daughter keep on saying she likes this hotel.

Beautiful surroundings and ideal get-away from JKT”

location, quiet surroundings, nature

Previously, we had been to the Tea Garden Resort just to visit the restaurant and shops, so this was the first time we stayed at the resort. We arrived around 8pm after a long drive from Jakarta. The check-in was very efficient and staff helpful in bringing our luggage to the villa. The villa was a nice two bedroom separately standing house in fairly good conditions, with one twin share room and one double bed room. Best was the food we ordered in room. The Sundanese style food originating around Bandung is a nice change from the Javanese food that dominates in Jakarta. Fresh vegetables and meat, the food cooked without too much fat and sugar was freshly prepared. We will be returning to spend maybe a long weekend at the resort. Fully recommend it as a destination.

Amazingly beautiful !”

Nice surrounding...

The Tea Garden Reort is the most amazing place to relax. The villa accommodation has all the comforts of home. Not to mentioned the size of the villa, it's really huge with really nice amazing surrounding view ! The staff are friendly, competent and helpful. The main pool area has amazing views of the distant mountains and the local wildlife is extraordinary. You can take your afternoon tea and early evening cocktails in various settings and the quality of all meals is excellent. We really enjoyed everything about the resort and we felt the experience was very authentic. The unique setting of this resort is truly magical. Everyone of the staffs deserve a special mention as they took a personal interest in ensuring you had a wonderful stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience - world class and exceeded our expectations

Cozy resort and a true getaway!!”

Superb location if you need to get away from turbulence

I traveled alone and at first, I thought my cottage was too spacious (and somehow made me spooky at night cuz I arrived at night too.) In fact, it was so very magnificent. Hotel staffs were very friendly although some of them could not speak English well but I knew they had cordially tried to help. Hotel amenities are sufficient for me as well as in-room dining which is at reasonable price and is tasty. Please don't miss the morning charm. You will be embraced by cool weather and tea plantation!! Starting your morning with a tea plantation trekking till you see a water fall. Or do enjoy hotel's activities e.g. massage, ceramic class, etc. Even just shooting some photos of the cottage architecture can make you relaxed too. Tangkuban Perahu one of top destinations in Bandung is just 30-minute drive from the hotel. So, I enjoyed my one day here perfectly. Last, it's worth for a backpacker too if you like to try like I did.

Great for the soul and the family ties!”

Lovely crisp and damp climate, surrounded by gorgeous nature. Very attentive staff.

Needing an escape from Jakarta, I took my extended family to the Tea Garden Resort. Though it takes 3-4 hours pending traffic, the end result was very much worth it. A small reduction in temperature, and a very misty afternoon was enthralling. Great view, multiple pools, and room-service comes at once for any reason. Of course, as with any Indonesian establishment, you can expect the restaurant to not have about 30% of what you see on the menu. And some of the activities boasted online were never heard of by any of the staff. But the strangest part was that I booked the most expensive suite for my family of 7, and then a standard-room for our driver. After surveying the resort grounds, I noticed that there were only chalets, and they had all the same amenities.

Perfect quiet get-away”

I spent a long weekend in Lembang and Bandung, with the first two nights in the Tea Garden Resort. My friend from Thailand was looking for a get-away from living in Bangkok and for me the TGR provides exactly that. The perfect location, clear, fresh air, the beautiful surroundings and pleasant but simple facilities. This is probably my third visit to TGR, having been there last a few years ago. The restaurant has nice food when you need dinner or lunch, the buffet breakfast is ok, without being overwhelming. For a long time I thought that the loose leaf tea on sale in the restaurant is probably the best locally available tea in Indonesia, so that I previously use to buy their total stock.

Hidden Gem”

Great surrounding, friendly staff and delicious food.

I've heard about this resort from a friend of mine. Me and my partner decided to spend our long weekend there. So we booked for 2 days. We follow our way to get there with google map (which was really helpful) there were small board signs of the hotel but if you wouldn't noticed it, especially if you're on the road at night. We arrived there at noon, park our car for a while in front of the lobby. Check-in procedure was fast, the staff was really helpful. At the lobby you can see what activities you can do around the premises. The tea walk is for free, other activities like milking cow and tea making is charged for IDR 65.000/ person (around USD 5). Our cottage has the best view, you can see the tea garden and the paddy fields from there. Room maintenance is a little bit poor, but still clean (no major damage). We ordered room service for lunch, waiting time average but the food there it's actually not bad and also quite cheap. 1st day we just walk around the premises and relax in the cottage. It's really peacful over there, such a good place to read your books and do yoga. 2nd day we took the tea walk and cow milking, not too bad. However they mentioned that they have wifi in the room or in the public areas which actually they don't, so they need to update on that one. It's not really a big problem for us, but if you are visiting indonesia you should get your self a telkomsel simcard since it got the best receptiom over there. Overall we had a wonderful stay at the Tea Garden resort and would like to go back there again.

Nice Place”

The place has a nice tea garden and mountain view and located in a quiet place, for those who wants some peace and getaway from a daily crowded life, this place could be the solution. The only access to reach this place is through a small and damaged road, so it's easy for us as a first time visitor to get lost, but the hotel already put some direction to their hotel to help us not to get lost. The staff are very kind, helpful, and cooperative and the food are delicious. They also offer you a free tea walk and trip to the waterfall in the morning.

Relax and peaceful short getaway”

Friendly staff, beautiful tea plantation and scenery, cosy villa and room

Me and my partner stay for 2 nights at Tea Garden Resort, we really fall in love with this villa at our first sight. It's as pretty as what we've seen from website. The villa provides a free morning walk to their customer, it covers tea plantation and waterfall. The famous volcano "Tangkuban Perahu" is just appx 30 mins drive from our villa, villa can provide such transport service but it is chargeable. Villa has other facilities like swimming pool and hot spring too. We even had one hour massage in villa. We were glad we've made the right choice

A nice, cozy and peaceful sanctuary”

Beautiful mountain and tea garden view, hot pool at night, nice, modern and minimalist design villa

We have a nice, comfortable experience staying there with the big families for 2 days. Although there were many visitors stay at that time, we still feel peaceful and kept our our privacy. The beautiful mountain view surrounded by the tea garden is very soothing since the villa was all consist of glasses so we can enjoy the view from inside as well. The living room have a nice tatami that also enhance it coziness. The hot water pool which open from 5-10 pm created different experience of outdoor bathing surrounded by beautiful view and the sounds of water and frogs. It's really relaxing and cozy for the whole family. The kitchen facilities also quiet complete, you can prepare your own food and drink if you want to. That also make it more economical especially when you go with the big family. Unfortunately, the place is quite far, it took at least 4 hour to reach the place from Jakarta without any traffic jam.

The resort's surrounding was superb & serene. Staff are ever so attentive, helpful & friendly. Food was sumptuous & affordable

I've had such a good experience relaxng in Tea Gadren so much so that I'm planning to go back again, despite the distance from town area to the resort. Speaking of its transportation, it's rather expensive & I hope there'll be more transport options to bring down the cost of just getting there. Two thumbs up to its staff making my stay comfortable, memorable & admirable.

Big villa, nice view and very relaxing

Overall, i'm very satisfied with tea garden. Big villa and very relaxing staying there. The minus point is that i got a lizard in master room and the breakfast is below expectation. The breakfast is not a big deal since we actually allowed to cook inside our villa, so if you wanna stay in tea garden, it's better if you prepare your own food.

Heaven amidst the tea plantation”

Superb View, Spacious Villa, Gorgeous Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi

The resort was not easily accesible, but if u can find ur way in, its really an oasis in the middle of a tea plantation. The location is superb. The villa is practically in the middle of the tea plantation and occasionally small rice terrace around. Need to walk a bit from the resort to a simple swimming pool, but the surrounding environment makes up for it (We can see farmer working with their cow and tea ladies passing by to pluck the tea leaves).
