the perfect place im rawai! ”
great hotel with a very friendly and helpfull stuff. there is everything what we need. bar, billard, big room, direct at the (amazing) pool, quiet aircon, rain-shower, water cooker, free cafe, big tv and fridge, always super clean and the atmosphere in and around the hotel is „boutique“! thanks, and next time for sure again :-).
Very nice place to relax with a huge and lovely pool. Big and comfortable rooms, our's had access to the pool. Staff puts attention to the costumer and is very helpful. The reception is often not occupied, this was only thing that could be better. There is no breakfast available.
Nice hotel with pool outside the terrace”
Nice and modern hotel with pool direct from our terrace. Friendly staff and manager. Bar but no staff in the bar and no meny. Could be better with a guy in the bar and a drink menu and perhaps some breakfast choice.
The hotel staff are very cordial and kind. It is near 7/11 so it is convenient in case you need something. They have a beautiful clean pool and a bar adjacent to it. The hotel in itself is very beautiful and the rooms are spacious and clean. We loved our stay here. One night we had a problem the hotel staff were kind and considerate enough to help us that night. We totally recommend this place and would love to come back here. Very peaceful and welcoming.
Great place during low season ”
Pros are the pool which is a highlight and we could walk out our door and be in the pool and watch our child swim. Staff were super. Cons... a fair walk to anything besides food and if this was during the busy time then I am sure it will be very noisy as everything is tucked in a small area and the pool is the high light. Recommended for the time we were there which is the low season Very quiet when we were there.
this place has is under new management and is experiencing teething problems, the staff are great and can't do enough for you, I'm sure they'll work out the few little problems and be on top of it all. fast internet, great pool
Stayed for 2 nights. Fantastic place kids loved it”
Was a great stay. Nice big room. Simple and unique. Very friendly staff. Easy check in and out. It's a beauifull lovely boutique hotel. The pool was lovely long pool. If back in that area will stay here again.
Very clean (newly built) hotel with nice rooms ”
Area. Rawai is very nice place, but you need a transportation (car or bike) to get around. No beach within walking distance, closest (and nicest in Phuket) beach about 5-10 min drive. Plenty of places to eat drink and have fun. Hotel. Spacious, clean well decorated rooms, excellent service, unusually large swimming pool. Breakfast. If you like to eat egg and bacon everyday go for it, second option is muesli and yoghourt. I wont opt for breakfast next time im staying there.

Nice hotel, quiet location, huge swimming pool”
the hotel is located on the main road in rawai, quite far from the beach. it's quiet and the atmosphere is nice, the rooms are big, furniture new, and the swimming pool is huge. service is good and the hotel is very well priced for the facilities on offer. the only disadvantage is that it's quite far from the beach and you'll need to rent your own transportation. thankfully there is a motorcycle rental shop next door to the hotel that gives out bikes for 150-250thb per day.
Nice quality hotel though limited facilities”
great room size with long pool if you want to swim - kids can use shallow end. great shower but they need to oversize the drain and the pebble / decking idea for the shower tray doesn't work. if you don't want a host of amenities you never use this hotel is great. i am not sure at full price it would be value for money. located near the evason in rawai it might be a little remote for those without a car but you can always hire a motorcycle nearby - if you are crazy enough to ride a bike in phuket that is.
Great brand new boutique Hotel you shouldn't miss!”
i stayed in this hotel for family vacation only 1 night but it was great choice of the hotel that i ever stay and would like to recommend everyone. ptree boutique hotel phuket is the brand new hotel in rawai beach – phuket, thailand. it takes about 30 minutes from phuket town by the highway. rawai beach is the most peachful and relaxing beach in phuket. not like patong beach. if you’re looking for the late night party. this is not your place. however, ptree phuket is located on the same road as evason resort. when you’re in the evason resort road, it will be the right hand side. the first thing you will see is the huge thai style wooden door that will lead you to the warm and nice hospitality hotel lobby style. it’s come with the great dining area indoor and outdoor with the surround bushes to keep you feel private and comfortable. after the bushes, you will find the 30meters length swimming pool to keep you enjoy with it for all day long. my kids love it so much! the hotel designed a+ was unique and amazed me at the first times i’ve seen. there were 3 different type of hotel room (pool view on the 2nd floor, pool suite on the 1st floor and family suite – 2 storey.) i was booked for pool view on the 2nd floor at first. but when i checked in, the staff was so kind and give me the recommend to upgrade to pool suite for my kids safety. i totally agreed and upgraded to the pool suite. if you’re on honeymoon or no kids, the pool view is might be your choice. i was so impressed about the pool suite with the designed and the huge bath tub. with a little upgrade cost if you can afford, pool suite is the most recommend room type for my opinion. all the room design and stuff in the room was great quality product like you’ve seen in the normal five star hotel. i couldn’t believe how they put this thing together with this price. anyway, overall ptree phuket was new, clean, comfort, eco-friendly, great friendly staff and service. price was great.
LOvely new property, great pool access rooms”
Really enjoyed the property, good quiet location (across from shell museum) nice 5 min walk to Rawai Pier , very relaxing stay in Phuket away from monotony of Patong bar scene. Good restaurants nearby, Amalfi for Italian, The Sandwich Shoppe for lunch, coffee
They didn’t let us in!”
I booked one night with my friend, different rooms. I arrived in the evening. There was nobody at the reception, but a staff member just arrived. I told him I had a booking and he said one moment. Then a girl arrived who asked me what room. I explained, she said ok and left for about ten minutes. Then ahe came back arguing with someone (I think the owner or manager) and said again “one moment” and the left again. My friend arrived and by then I waited more than 40 minutes. We tried to call, no answer. Then two staff members arrived and I asked them about their boss. They were going to get him. The same man and girl arrived again arguing. This time the man said “moment” after which everybody disappeared again. Eventually, I waited more than one hour while nothing happend so my friend and I left. Money gone. Also, the outside path to the hotel rooms had a very strong urine smell.
Owner Mark was kind and friendly. However, the reception was always empty, even tourists from other rooms were looking for them. Everytime I needed to ask for something nobody was there to assist me. I could not check out and get back my deposit because I would have missed my flight. Constant problems such as electricity being cut and aircond issues which led to room being changed with different air conditioning which was very loud. When I told housekeeping about electricity he even had the audacity to deny.
Great hotel but needs new staff”
The pool was one of the cleanest i have swam in, the room was modern and large, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was huge but no hot water for the first 2 days of my 3 day visit so cold showers in monsoon season........ but the worst thing was reception was not staffed the majority of the time so unable to ask for room to be cleaned and upon my attempt to check out ....... between 1030am and 1115am no staff...... there were 3 people trying to check in and myself and 2 Chinese trying to check out and get our deposits back ....... the Chinese gave up and went to the airport...... i left a note and came back 2 hours later...... great hotel, new staff required...... sorry
The room was lovely and large. A pool access room which was great. A small boutique hotel not far from Rawai seafront. Just off the main road and nice and quiet. Would have been better if we had hot water which was cold the whole time. Overall a pleasant stay.
We have to go to another hotel first night because checked in late and room was not available late night. 2nd and 3rd day the door lock was out of order. We have to wait each time nearly 20-30 min.for repair or change. Rooms clean is not perfect.. rather medium. Positive is the hospitality of the Manager. He is very chilled and serving immediately solutions
On arrival, initially no one around to check me in, eventually checked in with a complimentary bottle or water. Given a free upgrade to pool access room (room 1). Room is huge and at first sight seemed perfect. Bathroom was big with seperate shower and bath. This was when the troubles started, no water!! But I was not notified of this at check in. Manager advised it will back on in 20 minutes, came on but only for a short time. Eventually had to have a shower with low pressure “cold” water. Found the tv to be faulty and the aerial reception was terrible. Almost impossible to watch tv. Another tv was to be installed, but never was. The safe was open but locked and I was advised they are getting ready for high season and going through each room checking everything, but my room hadn’t been checked yet. And the key would be found eventually. Poor excuse! No wifi code was given at check in but I obtained it via the night staff. Wifi was not great. Often had to change between the 3 different routers. The hotel area was very quiet, but my room wasn’t quiet due to all guests having to walk past my room and the cleaning room next door. Then had staff watering plants at 630am. And they were constructing a small wall by my room also. The 2nd day the water issues didn’t change and I was advised to be patient as the hot water would be on soon. The water came on but no hot water, so I waited patiently and eventually had to take another cold shower, but this time the water completely stopped and I was forced to wash with a bottle of water. Overall very disappointing! Would I return? Possibly, but there are other options in the same area for less money that have less issues.
Dear Nikki, We would to apologies for the inconvenience and we realise we had a serious problem with the water supply. We are also happy to inform you that the water problem has now been completely solved and we now have installed brand new solar-cell hot water tanks n the roof, replaced the piping and fully committed to a green environment. We hope to welcome you back to experience the upgraded Tea Tree Boutique Resort. Kind regards, Marc - General Manager
