Great Place”
I was very pleased with my stay at the Teahouse Asian Urban Hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. When I asked where I could buy a few items, one of the hotel employees actually went with me to the store. Their spoken English was good. The Food in the Restaurant was exceptional. A friend, who ate with me once there and often visits Phnom Penh said that it was a bit more expensive than he expected but it was in no way exorbitant. All in all I was very satisfied and the next time I am in Phnom Penh I will stay there again.

Nice stay in Phnom Penh”
I stayed in Phnom Penh in February in teahouse urban hotel. The hotel is very relaxing as soon as you enter the lobby with its nice design. You can enjoy the swimming pool after a nice long day of visits in the city, even though it is a bit small and cold as it doesn't get a lot of sun. The room was in good condition, the only downfall was that I had only one window with view on the corridor, and fluctuating hot water in the shower. But my friends stayed in another room where there were not that problems. In the end it was a great hotel with very good value for money and above everything else I saw in Cambodia for that price. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Wonderful hotel”
Teahouse Urban Hotel is a great place to stay in Phnom Penh. A comfortable big bed, good bathroom and room facilities. Breakfast is lovely, a yummy selection of food, hot or cold, made to order and drinks. It is served in a lovely setting near the pool and inside courtyard garden. The staff are very attentive, helpful and very obliging at all times. I can highly recommend the staff at the day spa, really good massages. We really enjoyed our stay and being able to return each day for a swim, massage and relax was spot on. With the Tuk Tuks and rickshaws everything is easy to get to and the drivers are entertaining. Good value and really clever design providing a quiet comfortable place to stay.

My equal first favourite stay in Phnom Penh”
Last year (2017) I was looking for an alternative to my usual Phnom Penh weekend stay and I happened to try Teahouse Asian Urban Hotel. Love!!!!!! Went back for a weekend this year and from now on it’s going to be my go to hotel in Phnom Penh!

Urban oasis is just my cup of tea”
The short story: This is a small boutique hotel that really punches above its weight in terms of amenities, service and dining. Location is well away from the busy riverside quay - the major tourist precinct - so if you are looking to party, this place is probably not for you. However, it is an interesting neighbourhood and five or ten minutes walk in any direction will take you to plenty of well-known restaurants, and great shopping in 240 street or Sihanauk Blvd. The public areas - restaurant, lounge area, outside dining spaces - are beautifully decorated, well-maintained, and light and airy. The pool and poolside areas are much nicer than the photos suggest - it's a bigger pool than one might expect for a hotel this size. Buffet breakfast covered all the usual bases and then some. Lots of choice each day and variety day-to-day. Restaurant served meals and snacks and each dish we tried was fresh and delicious. Recommend the sushi. Happy hour was generous in length (from 2pm to 6pm)- but maybe could have started and finished a little later. The rooms themselves are spacious, clean and decorated simply and tastefully - rather than opulently. The large walk-in shower was appreciated by us, but I know some people like to have a bath (don't know how common baths are in Cambodia though - I haven't stayed anywhere that wasn't shower only). The rooms have cable tv, minibar, and aircon. Beds are king size, mattresses firm. TeaHouse is terrific value for money - proven by the number of long-stay and return visit business or enterprise guests. The icing on the cake though is the young staff who couldn't be more friendly, helpful or professional. They seem happy to work there - and that says a lot about the management. I will be returning to Phnom Penh in a few months time accompanied by my brother and I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. The happy hour times aside I wouldn't change a thing and have nothing negative to say. And, as a non-drinker, I really can't even

Excellent and Stylish Boutique Hotel”
I enjoyed an excellent stay at the Tea House Asian Urban Hotel. A brand new hotel opened in February 2013 modelled on the aesthetic theme of tea, and tea houses. Fantastic location in Phnom Penh (only a 10 minute walk to the Royal Palace) with good views over the capital city. The room was clean and moderately sized. Extensive breakfast served, but the best thing about the hotel was friendliness of the staff and the excellent service provided. They were very helpful and I enjoyed a great stay here.

TeaHouse Asian Urban Hotel is great!”
TeaHouse Asian Urban Hotel is a really nice (sort of) boutique hotel, but quite big. They have got a really nice entrance and a huge lobby. I stayed at the second floor and had a corner room which was really nice. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was really clean and tidy. I really enjoyed my stay here, even though it was only 1 night. The staff was kind and helpful at any time. The breakfast was ok too. I left early because I had to go to Koh Kong by bus. The staff helped me out and arranged a ticket for $10,-- the night before. Got a "free" tuktuk to the bus Station. SO all and all, this place is really cool. I would definitely stay here again! :)

Home away from home”
From the moment I checked in, I was blown away by the quality of this hotel and its staff. I was fortunate enough to stay here for 17 days throughout October and November on my first business trip to Cambodia. My only regret was that when I traveled to Siem Reap, there wasn't a version of the TeaHouse there! I would sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the lovely city of Phnom Penh as it made my experience in the city top-notch. I can't wait to return and visit with the incredible hotel staff again! Thank you so much, TeaHouse, for making my trip perfect.

Professional, Comfortable and Very Good Staff”
It was a delight to stay at the TeaHouse Asian Urban Hotel. The staff were very helpful. If staying for longer periods, as I did, the beds began to feel a bit too hard (I love firm beds). The rooms are a good size and are well appointed with everything one might need. I will certainly stay there again.

Beautiful hotel with great breakfast buffet”
We stayed for around 5 days in the TeaHouse Hotel and enjoyed our stay. The room was new, a nice size and spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet had eggs, omelets, good coffee, fruit and such... a nice spread. The internet was fast. The pool was closed, but we didn't plan on using it anyway, so not a big deal for us. The only issue we had was with our air conditioning, which was problematic in the hottest time of year in Phnom Penh. The AC stopped blowing cool air during the daytime. They said it was an issue with the public power grid not having enough capacity in the afternoon to support the air conditioning unit in our room, and they would temporarily fix it only to have the same problem a few hours later. We were on the top of the hotel though, so I would guess that rooms on the lower floors might be cooler during the heat of the day with or without AC.

Beautiful hotel!”
We loved our stay at the TeaHouse Asian Urban Hotel. The hotel is an oasis from the minute you step in. The room is great, facilities are wonderful (love the pool!) and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Would stay again!

Amazing hotel and staff!”
My family and I had a wonderful time at TeaHouse. The staff do a wonderful job of attending to your every need--they did the booking for our Phnom Penh-Siem Reap bus and when the time we wanted wasn't available, they searched for us in the city just to inform us and reschedule! They also helped us plot our itinerary, and are very kind. The hotel itself is a little oasis in the city, with a vast and comfortable lobby and rooms, and a quaint little pool beside the restaurant. Beautiful decorations and very peaceful as well.

beautiful oasis in a bustling city”
I stayed here for three weeks while doing a research project. It was such an easy delightful stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great and the rooms were always clean and beautifully presented. The teahouse is an affordable oasis amidst the bustle of Phnom Penh. The location is great being inbetween the riverfront area and the area toward the Russian market. It is nice to be a bit removed from the intensity of the riverfront in terms of tourist hussle. Great food and markets nearby and the supermarket is only a few minutes walk as well. I would definitely come and stay here again.

Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff”
The room was better than we thought. It was spacious and comfortable. Our kids loved the bed and preferred to stay indoors than going out even after trying to entice them with their amusement park, Dreamland. We liked the location and the staff were friendly and helpful and made our stay a very comfortable and pleasant experience, from the Front Desk to the Bar staff, their Housekeeping and their Tuk-tuk drivers. We will recommend Teahouse to our friends and if we choose to visit Phnom Penh again, we are definitely staying here again.

This place is a gem!”
Look no further for the best value for money hotel in Phnom Penh that also delivers a well rounded hotel experience. This hotel is absolutely great and has a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly, warm and funny! They will go to great length to accommodate your requests. I once wanted food past 3am and the front desk organized the night guard to go get it for me... Priceless! Those are the little things (not so little) that you don't forget... Also, I found it incredibly convenient that they would keep my luggages while I was traveling around the country. The standard room is a bit small, but rather than that it is very welcoming, warm and clean. Housekeeping is also great, always available to make your room even if later during the day. So nice of them! Finally, the food is good , not to mention they make one of the best Pad Thais I've ever had! Finally, the pool... a real beauty. Small, but barely treated and with salt water... trust me, this place has everything you need!!!

A great little hotel, very attentive staff.”
This was a great little find. I had two days of meetings most of which I was able to conduct between the restaurant and well furnished foyer. The food was well priced and the atmosphere conducive to chatting over the table. Tuk tuks were plentiful and ready to take you to nearby restaurants etc... The hotel location is off the main road in a quiet part of Phnom Penh. The swimming pool is very small but adequate for a "wake up" dip or relaxing at the end of the day. I'd read that this chain has a policy of no sex tourism which tells you something about the ethos of the place and I found the staff to be professional and courteous. I've stayed in a couple of other hotels in Cambodia and this is one of the best at this price. Its about an 8 minute ride by Tuk tuk to the riverfront cafes.

This is it.”
Best Hotel we have stayed in Southeast Asia so far. We got a last minute deal at Teahouse and could not be more pleased with the hotel. All the luxuries of a 5 star at a fraction of the price. Staff was great! Courteus, spoke good English and did everythig within reach to help. We arrived late at night (last bus from Ho Chi Mihn) and took a tuk tuk to the hotel. Since I did not have the time to withdraw cash at, I did not have any rials or USD on me; only Vietnamese dongs. Arriving at the hotel their exchange desk was closed already but one of the gentleman at the front desk actually lent me some of his own money for me to pay the the tuk tuk driver. Location is very central, a bit away from the crowds, which is good to relax after a long day. Restaurant is very good and serves great breakfast. I have nothing other than praise for this hotel and it's staff.

Almost perfect”
This is a great value hotel and we've stayed here a few times but probably won't go back again. While everything is superbly presented, I just can't sleep in an aircon room and no rooms have fans. After sleeping in 3 different rooms, it seems which ever one I end up in I am directly under the air con and woken up with a blast of cold air every 10 minutes. Every trip there is also one small, but annoying thing that doesn't go quite right. This time the pool was closed. Probably wouldn't have stayed there had I known. They offered a free drink after 6pm, which they would not give to me at 5pm. (I've got little kids, hanging around till 6pm for a free drink just isn't going to happen). Last time I booked in for a one hour massage which barely went for 40 minutes. Seems there's always something, while it's usually a small, often insignificant inconvenience, I can stay at other hotels in Phnom Penh that I know better suit my needs.

Great Stay”
Recently returned from a trip to Cambodia and whilst in Phnom Penh (beginning of holiday and again at end before flying home) we stayed at this hotel. Welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch. Rooms we had were spacious with comfortable beds and big rainfall showers although on two occasions the hot water ran out before we had finished showering. Location was excellent being within comfortable walking distance (depending upon fitness) of several sites of interest. Staff were eager to help. Our flight Home wasn’t until 11:30pm but we had to check out by midday. The hotel kept hold of our luggage allowing us to spend our last day visiting a favourite bar and Aeon Mall for some shopping. On returning to the hotel they offered us access to the spa showers (towels provided) if we wished - an offer very much appreciated after a hot day roaming the city!

Clean and comfortable accomodation close to tourist areas”
This trendy hotel is great for travellers on a budget. The reception area is warm and inviting and the restaurant cannot be faulted - the quality of food and friendliness of staff is second to none. Thankyou for a wonderful stay. The only thing we can possibly pick up on, which isn't any fault of the hotel, is just the age of the building. Whenever anyone took a shower in the rooms above us, we could hear the water flowing down the pipes and it does get quiet loud if it is first thing in the morning or close to nod off time. It's something travellers should be wary of but it's just the way it was built and just unfortunate for the hotel. The pool is just beautiful and a fantastic spot to rest and relax after a day of exploring. The hotel is within walking distance to pretty much all tourist areas in Phnom Penh, it's a fantastic location. Thankyou to all the staff who were so friendly during our visit.
