You can find cheaper, but not as nice and cozy”
We visited six plus different hotels in Nakhon Si Thammarat. Out of the budget-priced central hotels (near railway station), Teeny House was definitely most up to Western standards in cleanliness and coziness (the decor may be kitsch, but does make the rooms bright and homey). This place felt well-built and new, definitely the most comfortable bed and pillows of the lot! As far as prices go, the other hotels were almost half cheaper, and you could tell. Only one hotel offered an Internet connection and a fridge, their rooms were gloomy and depressing, some rooms had a whiff of old tobacco, no warm water, no English service, some had dead roached along the hallway. These were fine for cheap-o backpackers like us, but Teeny House had much more comfort. Next to Teeny is a large food market, which means there are some roaches/rats in the alleys in between (not inside the hotel though!). About 4 blocks to main street with cheap street stalls, 2 blocks to Big C shopping centre, 6ish blocks to Robinson mall.

Teeny House with a big heart.”
First & not the last time we will stay @ Teeny House. It was a change from our 'normal' place in Nakhon & we really enjoyed it. Owners/Staff were very pleasant & helpful. If the location is not suiting your needs so much, then just grab a motorbike taxi from the corner of the street or ask reception to call you a meter Taxi. Lots of delicious local food available also in the main road which is 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The triple room was great value for money, very spacious & bathroom etc. clean. Will stay again.

Second stay and would stay 3d time”
This is the second time I stayed here (2 weeks nov 2014, now 3 weeks) and I will likely stay here again next time I visit Nakhon Si to visit my gf. The location in a realtively quiet street next to a market with excellent food is great. The hotel is clean, rooms reasonably comfortable (I staid in standard one, deluxe looks even nicer), has laundry machines with coin slot in common area, place to park scooter inside. The price is good. Downside for some people might be that there's no breakfast but there's plenty of restaurants and a market nearby.

Lovely small hotel with beautiful modern rooms.”
we stopped at teeny house on our way to nakhon si thamarrat airport for our plane to bangkok, arrived early evening and had trouble finding the place which is by the market. unfortunately there was a lot of flooding outside the hotel which meant we couldn't really go out so never saw anything of the area. food was not brilliant and quite limited as it was prepared buy the owner. very cheap though. would stay again if ever we needed to.

Pleasant , quiet and cheap”
I stayed at Teeny House for 2 nights. My room was comfortable with good air conditioning, TV and WI FI. The hotel is clean and the decor is very quirky. It is possible to walk to the town centre, the tourist information office and the railway station. Teeny House is situated off the main road so there is no traffic noise. There is a market on the corner (well worth a look in the morning) and on the corner closest to the hotel there is a good cafe. Nearby on the main road opposite The Nakhorn Garden Inn is a superb restaurant called Krua Thale. There is no sign above the restaurant. It looks insignificant from the road but it is much bigger and better than it looks and serves superb fresh sea food in an courtyard style environment. Prices are very reasonable and it is popular with locals. Also, a short walk away towards the town is a shopping mall. The guy who was in charge of the hotel had limited English. He was helpful and gave me a lift to the airport for 300 baht.

A solid stay”
It was a good stay. The owner was ready when I asrrived; sometimes he wasn't at the desk but a family (his?) lives on the ground floor so there was always someone there when I needed, including at check out time. This is a simple guesthouse with key card to enter the building when it's late. The standard room was very clean and comfy - great value. I checked out a couple of similarly priced hotels nearby and the rooms at Teeny were far superior. The location is good, 10 min walk from the train station with lots of good restaurants nearby, but the guesthouse itself is a little off the main road. It's only a couple hundred meters but not well lit after dark. I didn't mind; lets just say I wouldn't want my sister to walk that way by herself late at night.

Good Location, beds and service”
We only stayed one night at Teeny House, but for the price we were satisfied. The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. The a/c was good and there was plenty of hot water. The only drawback was the wifi was a little slow and there were no restaurants open in the area past 8. We tried to order street food but most places were closing down by that point. We did not have the breakfast but enjoyed a great coffee at the next door cafe.

Cute hotel, good location”
We stayed at Teeny house for one night in the deluxe room. The room was huge! Great lounge area and lots of space. Definitely a good size for 3 people or even someone with kids. Teeny House was in a great location, easy to walk to the main street. Sorngteau (not sure of the spelling) were nearby and made getting around town easier. We didn't have breakfast here because we had seen the reviews that the restaurant opens late. Instead we went to the market next door which was great.

Lovely guesthouse (B&B)”
There's no way I'm staying in other hotels the next time I'm back at Nakhon!! Although I would rather keep this place in the down low just because I'm selfish and I want this place to stay secret

Very good value, ok location”
I booked this for a last minute 24 hour trip to Nakhon, without knowing anything about the hotel or the city. For the price, I really had no idea what to expect, but decided it was worth the risk. The room alone costs about the same as some upscale hotels charge just for 1 night of parking or for wi-fi, so the fact that it included wi-fi was a big plus. The room was fairly spacious. It is certainly not the Ritz, as it is a bit sparse, but I have paid 2-4 times as much for worse hotels, and this place was more than adequate for my visit to town. The location was also not at all bad. At first, it seemed to be a bit far from anything interesting, but then I stumbled on the huge indoor food market that is only a block away. This market alone made my trip worthwhile, especially when I found some fresh haw mok. There are a number of food stalls and restaurants around the market. There is a Carrefour Shopping Center about a 10 minute walk west of the hotel on Ek Nakhon, and a Robinsons Shopping Center about 20 minutes walk along Thanon Pattanakam. To get to the main tourist spots requires a 10-15 minute walk west towards Ratchadamnoen Road, where you can easily hop on a songthaew heading south towards the historic sites such as the wall and Wat Phra Mahatat.

This is a small town house hotel. Its spotlessly clean and all the staff were very friendly and kind. Its in the relative centre of Nakkhon although there are a few restaurants and a local market to get food at you do need transport to see this hidden gem of a city, This is a great value hotel our bed was extra comfortable and very nice hot shower and AC. Everything you need for a stay in this city.

A bit pink, but pretty good!”
Breakfast was included, but I opted for toast, juice and coffee after day 1. Comfortable good sized room, air con, private bathroom, TV, WiFi's not great but it does work. The staff were friendly and helped me find out things I couldn't otherwise. Really good location for me, but Nakhon shuts down after 9pm.

lovely hotel with nice decoration”
I like this hotel very much due to it have nice decoration and the price also not expensive. I want to recommand the vip room to those who plan to stay in this hotel, the vip room consist of 1 double bed and 1 single bed and have a nice living space with nice sofa. This large room is worth for it price and a comfortable stay . This hotel is near to market, you need to drive in from the small road between top dairy and market . Hopefully the owner can consider to put some signboard outside for easy search :)

A gem that is hidden away”
They don't do food. However, it is makes up for this in many other ways, the rooms are great. The location couldn't be better for NST. NST is a non tourist city, no M/cycles to rent unless you know someone! Cars, forget it unless you know someone or prepared to use taxi, but they don't speak English! Hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the city for food, drink, movies and shopping. Best place to stay if you've never been to NST before.

Cute hotel with incredibly helpful staff”
I liked the look of the hotel, with almost a B&B feel. The hotel was on the far side of the city, not really near the historical sites, but the city is rather small - maybe 4 miles?, so that's not a big thing. The staff was incredibly friendly. The wife of the husband-wife management duo speaks English well. Watch out for bugs - you're in Thailand; they will show up in your room. No elevator.
