value for money budget hotel
Stayed only one night but I made the right choice; the hotel room was quite spacious and the staff kindly allowed early check in at 10 in the morning as my flight arrived early. Location good within 10-15 minutes walk from the popular waterfront area and from there to the historical museums. Will stay again if I come to Kuching again.

Old Hotel but Clean & Comfortable
The breakfast buffet was simple but good, with the price I paid, yes its worth it. Look like an old hotel but the room I stayed was clean enough. The toilet cleanliness can be improve though.

1st visit to Sarawak for Kuching Marathon
The building and furnishing is actually pretty old with a lot of wear and tear. Some of the facilities e.g. kettle is not clean; when we requested for a replacement, we were given another one which isn't much better. So we ended up buying bottles of water instead. Location is so-so only as there are other nearer hotels to Padang Merdeka. Breakfast is satisfactory and all-you-can-eat so no complains there. In short, if we are back next year, we will pick other hotels.
