Relaxing & peaceful historical heritage with charm”
Temple Tree is a beautiful estate with 6 stunning historical houses consisting of 15 unique rooms to choose from. Each house originated from different states in Malaysia and was relocated and beautifully restored, preserving its distinctive architectural heritage. Experience the colonial charm with their impressive spruced up bar and restaurant overlooking their inviting pool and stunning grounds. Their warm, friendly and helpful staff made our experience easy and effortless. Fauzan patiently assisted with our queries before our arrival and Minnie welcomed us with a warm smile & a selection of complimentary drinks. We chose the Prosecco 🥂 For non-alcohol drinkers, there was a refreshing cucumber mint cooler. We stayed at Penang House 2, which was perfect for our family of 3. The beds were nice & comfy with a good firm mattress, fluffy pillows and soft sheets. The house was very well light with lots of power points for charging devices. Both bedrooms had air-conditioning which circulated through the house, keeping it nice and cool. Wooden walls divided all the rooms including the bathroom only up to about 7 - 8ft, then it was wooden screens up to the roof, to allow for ventilation around the house. Luckily no heavy snorers amongst us but if you are staying with snorers or friends you don’t know too well, this is something to consider. We would also recommend bringing some bedroom slippers to protect your feet from the wooden floor boards. A few splinters got through my soft ‘city’ feet but nothing a set of tweezers couldn’t fix! Each house is unique in its architecture and materials, so there are plenty of beautiful rooms to choose from to suit your preferences. Each morning we were greeted by Temple Tree’s helpful and friendly wait staff as we enjoyed our breakfast on the porch or in the garden. The buffet breakfast offered a good selection of Western (toast, cereal, cheese, salmon & sausages) and Eastern dishes (roti, mee, porridge, pan). You could also o

All round amazing stay”
I am only upset I cant give 6 stars for this hotel. Everything about it is amazing. The buildings exude that traditional Malaysian charm and the rooms are spacious and spotless. Staff are so pleasant and kind and the owners are always so chatty and excited about their lovely properties. Basically a 2 minute drive to Pantai Cenang so it is really handy and very close to the airport. Food here is simply delicious, I would nearly fly weekly just to have their nasi beriani gam. If you are looking for something different to staying in a typical hotel, this hotel is THE place you want to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Temple Tree. The grounds and house were beautiful and thoughtfully appointed, and very cosy. We played board games (provided in the pool house), rested well in the comfy beds and it was great that the TV comes equipped with Netflix. We liked learning the history of each house, and they all had such character. The staff were all very friendly, and helpful. Oh and the cats were sweet!

Upon arrival up to checkout, the staff are constantly waiting to attend to you and the entire experience was excellent. We were greeted with a warm smile from the staff and immediately escorted to the lobby for a bubbly Prosecco welcome drink & a cold towel. Check in was smooth and we were ushered to the room. The room we booked was Estate 5, which had high ceilings, antique deco, comfy bed and a nice seating area. All the necessities needed through the stay were provided and my favourite detail was the Batik Sarong provided as a bath robe of sorts. Very local and thoughtful. Minibar was stocked with complementary soft drinks which was fantastic. The grounds is just simply amazing. Landscape was manicured to perfection. The pool is breathtaking and there is even a 2nd pool for those that seeks additional privacy. It felt more like a private collection of art rather than a resort as the buildings were all flown in from across Malaysia and reassembled. The restaurant looked great and breakfast was generally good, small selection but tasty. Would I return? 100%. One of the best stays I’ve ever had in a resort. If you enter the grounds with stress, you’re sure to leave with none.

Brought my little fur kid here as well and they are very accommodating. One of the night I was having work video call at their restaurant and it's past their working hours and the staff is happy to leave the light and fan outside the premise opened for me to continue working. Very friendly staff and nice pool to chill around. The atmosphere is relaxing

i always explore hotels around langkawi, and i have to say temple tree is so another level of stay. its so calming and giving the kids different experience of stay. internet connection is slightly poor, but we dont need it here. pool is narrow and not wide but stil fine with my kids. definitely repeat!

Its a lovely resort, with beautiful spots and lush greenery. We were upgraded to a larger room , it was clean and uniquely decorated . The hot water took some time to replenish when finish, but this has always been the rustic charms of smaller resorts. I don’t mind it at all . The staff was great and attentive. The breakfast menu was simple and adequate, patrons expecting a large buffet array will be disappointed- but i am a fan. I will definitely return.

Beautiful resort, with amazing hospitality. Upon arrival you will be welcomed with cold towel and refreshing cucumber lemon drinks from the staff. They even upgraded our room for free. The pool is amazing, breakfast is great, definitely will be back.
