Tenface Bangkok - 10 faces of enjoyment”
It was a very pleasant stay at Tenface Bangkok. The bedroom suite was very clean and spacious. Everything inside looked new and worked well. If there was any problems, the staff would attend to it immediately (really immediately - like within 5 to 10 mins). The bed and sofa was comfortable. I had room service and the food was excellent - in terms of quality, taste and presentation. The service level and courtesy of the staff at the Hotel is unparalleled. They are pleased to help and assist at any time. The price obtained for the Hotel from Agoda was very good value for money. The price of the room service is pricey for Bangkok standard but it is extremely good value for money. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and I will certainly try to stay at Tenface Bangkok the next time I visit the city. To say anything bad or negative about Tenface Bangkok would be just to nit-pick. There is seriously nothing bad to be said about Tenface Bangkok. Excellent and keep up the good work. For Agoda, please keep having good deals for us travellers. Best regards Mark Yeo
Awesome Boutique Hotel with wonderful service”
TenFace is an exceptional hotel with a unique prospective on art and design. The entire TenFace experience is molded around a story and the hotel incorporates this theme throughout the hotel. To learn about the TenFace story you can read the guest book, which is in every room. It will challenge your mind and help you understand the abstract art found in each room. The furniture and lighting fixtures are modern chic design and fit the atmosphere quite well. The hotel has a very calm but intimate feel to it, making it a great place for couples to enjoy a romantic time together. The TenFace staff is practically flawless. They are always on top of everything and really go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. One man in particular, Mr. Kai, continued to go above and beyond during our stay. Anything we needed or wanted he made sure we were satisfied. It did not matter if it was a 2.5 taxi ride to Ban Phe or just a simple recommendation to a near by restaurant, he always took care of it and made sure we got the price we wanted and the service we desire. The hotel restaurant is a bit pricey for Bangkok standards but it is convenient and the food is decent. The gym is a bit small, however it has all modern equipment and definitely gets the job done. The pool is narrow but no one ever utilizes it, so it’s nice and quiet most of the time. Some people think that this boutique hotel is inconvenient and a bit out of the way. I completely disagree with this. I found TenFace to be in a great location, a short walk to the BTS, near many great restaurants, street food can be found down the street, Taxi rides are cheap and quick (provided you aren’t traveling during rush hour), and it is situated near most of the international embassy’s, which is kind of cool. I would definitely recommend TenFace boutique hotel. I would even stay here again!
Awesome stay, thumbs up for the hotel staff”
Initially, I had some second thoughts after making the hotel booking. The hotel is located deep in one of the alleys, I was afraid that we could not find the hotel. The taxi driver manage to find the hotel (It didn't take very long though). Entire taxi trip from airport to hotel takes around 20 - 30 mins (No traffic jam, arrived at Bangkok airport close to 9pm). Check in was fast and our two big luggages were sent to our room (We didn't need to carry the luggages; from our taxi to check in counter to our room, the staff handled everything). I was charmed by the hotel decor. The room is very big, with separate living room and bathroom. I find the entire room slightly dark, especially in the night, when we draw the blinds down. It will be great if we can adjust the brightness of the lights though. Tenface also provided a box filled with the necessary amentities - free one day BTS pass, free sim card, toiletries and small cards (detailing the places to visit and dine). We saved the trouble of purchasing the local sim card, thanks tenface. You will need the sim card to call the hotel front desk for the 24hr tuk tuk service. We took the tuk tuk several times each day and the staff is always so friendly and courteous. There was one night where it was raining very heavy and we called for the tuk tuk to meet us at the massage place near Novotel. Tuk tuk came promptly despite the weather, the trip back was wet and fun!! Staff always smile at us and they are very attentive and friendly. My room (each room has their own router) had some issues with the wifi, keep disconnecting after a period of time. Staff gave us other password to connect to other wireless connections, delivered the lan wire to our room and even sent someone to look at the wifi issue (now, that's service!!). Definitely heading back to Tenface for my next Bangkok trip!
Bangkok's best kept secret”
We arrived at Tenface quite early in the morning as the flight got into Bangkok early. Tenface came to pick us up from the airport and because they were expecting us, they had a room ready for us despite the official check in time being much later. The welcome was very friendly from all staff as they introduced us to the hotel and it's facilities. We stayed in a one bedroom suite on the 8th floor, which was surprisingly large. The room was exceptionally clean and well presented with all the usual mod-cons you would come to expect such as flat screen tv in both the bedroom and living area and cordless phones allowing you the freedom to roam about whilst on the phone. The bed was comfortable and the hotel offer a selection of pillows to choose from, however we didn't feel it necessary as the pillows provided were more than adequate. The bathroom is modern and spacious with a walk-in wet room style shower area. Breakfast is a buffet style where all the options appeared to be quite fresh. Eggs are cooked to order whilst there is a balanced mix of Thai / Western style items to choose from. Even with the fussiest of foodies in our party there was something for everyone. Although we didn't use the pool, it looks to be a relatively serene environment focused on "chill", but it certainly can't be described as a sun trap. The bar is called Sita and has a hip and funky feel to it, although it seemed quite quiet both evenings during our stay. One reason for this could be due to the price of the drinks, however when we ordered a beer we were told that it was buy one get one free. Taking this offer into account, a beer cost us £2.70. We ate in the restaurant, and thought that the food was delightful, again we saw this as a special treat due to the prices being relatively high (approx £8 for each of our meals - plus drinks). It really was worth the bill, and all I can say is it was a shame that we were the only diners as the staff are just so friendly.
Great Place to Stay”
Wonderful eclectic new hotel close to Sukhumvit. Staff are knowledgeable about Bangkok & very attentive - nothing is too much trouble. Drove us to a nearby restaurant in the hotel's limousine, a quirky early 70's style black Mercedes Benz. The 'on-demand' tuk tuk service to the Skytrain ensures ease in getting around Bangkok. When tuk tuk was being repaired, a staff member used own vehicle to transport us to the station. When returning to hotel the taxi drivers come around the back way, avoiding the chaos of Sukhumvit road. The suite styled rooms are very spacious, comfortable with ultra modern decor & are spotlessly clean. Having stayed in similar style accommodation in Bangkok over the last few years, I can say TenFaces represents terrific value for money. We will certainly return.
Exclusive boutique feel in hidden location”
Context: I stayed at Tenface for several days while sorting out a re-entry visa into China for my brother. For a newcomer the location appears a bit off-putting, at the very end of a Soi/sidestreet off Wireless Rd. This proved to be a double-edged sword. It adds a bit of a hidden charm to the hotel, being extremely central (really!) and yet "off the beaten path" (for lack of a better cliché). I had no problems taking a taxi from the airport, but those after an extremely easy airport transfer should probably look elsewhere. The hotel provides a [free] tuk-tuk service. Personally, I didn't find the walk from the station to be so tiring as to call up the hotel. That said, on our way out, as the driver noted we were accumulating visa documents (passport photo), we were driven to the nearest photo booth and proferred further directions. I found this to be a thoughtful touch to what I had initially imagined as a hotel ->Ploenchit Station shuttle. Decor throughout the hotel is consistently minimal and quite dark, with light Ramakien-inspired flourishes providing contrast. Rooms were kept in good condition and differed little from the professional photos. To nitpick, it would appear that some patrons aren't capable of operating Venetian blinds and the ones in our toilet had some bent edges from excessive force. Finally (and this may appeal to some travellers over others), the care package in the room includes a complementary Happy Tourist [micro-convertable] SIM card. Although readily available for extremely cheap at most 7-11s in Thailand, it was most comforting having unlimited data for a day (rechargeable) while rushing about Bangkok, while avoiding absurd roaming fees. Thanks for reading this far!
Amazing hotel and a most perfect experience”
everything is well thought-out, and tenface is definitely one that i'll come back to next time. the rooms are spacious and very beautiful. it's done up in a designer-y, contemporary style, yet with subtle throwbacks to tradition and art. tenface has really got you covered. every guest gets a little box, with useful items in it-- the staples like the hotel calling card (for when you get lost and need a cab back), to a free bts day pass, to an ipod to listen to music and watch movies. there are the small touches, but tenface gets it right. the locations' great too. it's right in the heart of bangkok, so it's close by to many attractions. yet, it's nestled in a small lane away from the hustle and bustle, so you really feel like you're in a quiet place of town. there's a 24 hours tuk-tuk service that shuttles you out to the nearby bts station, so you're covered all the time. i also have to commend the staff at tenface. they're a friendly, fun-loving bunch, and really made the experience an enjoyable one. thanks again, tenface. we'll be back!
Great value for quirky hotel with amazing pillows”
I really liked Tenface Hotel. The rooms were absolutely huge with separate living area which made it so much more comfortable for staying with a friend. The bathroom also had 2 showers. It feels more like a temporary home than a dull souless tourist hotel. The location is a little out of the way, but Tenface deal with it very well with their on-call tuk tuk that will take you to the main road to get a taxi or skytrain. There's also plenty of motos in the soi that will take you from the skytrain back to the hotel. The Tenface tuk tuk driver took me out at 2 in the morning in seach of some food. We couldnt find anything that was open but he was pretty helpful in recommending the best 7/11 micro meal options! The staff were always helpful. Negotiating a taxi to Banphe for us, setting up our tv to watch DVDs etc. Breakfast was good. Fairly standard of hotels in Thailand but it did the trick. Nice crispy bacon! The pool was the downside. Its quite small and shady. Which didnt really compell us to use it, although my friend would have liked to. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is turned off my massive tourist souless hotels. Its a really quirky place and really is great value for money.
Perfect city hotel”
Tenface location isideal, it is tucked away at the end of a dead end soi in the embassy district, they supply a free shuttle to take you to the skytrain station and then you are right in the thich of it, with all the good shopping and nightlife only 2 stops away. For the price tenface far outstrips other 4 and 5 star hotels in bangkok, the rooms are large have 2 flatscreen tvs, amazing beds, bathrooms and mod cons. The real bonus is the little extras like free wifi, ipod film library, roaming sim cards and skytrain day pass, all included in the price. I have been back to bangkok 4 times now and i automatically book tenface without question.
Lovely modern contemporary zen nest looking hotel ”
it's only my second visit to bangkok but this time with my boyfriend. we stayed in tenface for 7 days and it was an awesome experience to explore bangkok. for start bangkok, has got alot of hotel choices to choose from. if you appreciate nature and modern deco with a twist of spiritual , this is a place to be. its a good foundation to appreciate and understand bangkok when you know nothing much about their culture and to be spending the next 7days there, the info tv provided by tenface will be your survival kit. upon arrival we were given maps , all day pass for bts and sim card. do bring an extra phone because the sim card can really come in handy - when you are calling the tuktuk service to pick you up from the pick up point. in most cases , the drop off point would be right at the edge of ploenchit bts station(it's 2 stations away from the central of siam where all the malls are - about 10mins walk) staircase . it's 24/7 , free and efficient service. yes, you need the tuk tuk service from the hotel to the main road where the bts station , stretch of fine restaurants ,7-eleven and etc. not much you can do around here if you like venturing into the cheaper side of bkk. but at least you know you would come back to the serenity , the birds chirping and nice looking hotel and art pieces here and there. breakfast spread is enough and clean with freshly brewed nespresso coffee. the thais wouldnt disappoint you if you are a coffee drinker. the hotel restaurant serves the best food even though you are paying 10 times more than what you can get outside but it's guaranteed to be the best we ever tasted in bkk.the room service is efficient too, they helped me plan the surprise birthday cake for my boyfriend at no charge at all. yes it's haagen dazs ice cream cake!the best experience and definitely will come back again with no doubt!
Great rooms and impecable service. location, price”
this was my second time visiting bangkok but my first time staying at the tenface. i have to say, this hotel changed my outlook on bangkok itself! ultra comfortable room, really affordable price, super friendly staff. the location is great as it's not on the main street so you don't have street transactions and traffic in your face as soon as you leave the lobby. close enough to the bts, the convenient "tuk tuk" shuttle the tenface provides runs all hours and never makes you wait long. the tenface also has a really cool 70's era mercedes for hire that we all took pictures in front of. would stay again!
Super Cosy + Fri Stay at Tenface”
We stayed at Tenface Bangkok for 3 nights. Upon arriving the staff were really friendly and had decent command of English which definitely helped us a lot. We were too early for check-in so they secured our luggage for us first. We had some laundry with us but the hotel's rates were a bit too steep but we found a local laundry lady with a more reasonable rate. Although the location is quite a distance from Phloen Chit BTS, the hotel offers free shuttle tuktuk service to and fro the station. Pick up is just a call away. From the BTS station its really convenient to get around Bangkok. Chatuchak Weekened Market, Siam Square, Platinum Mall, Pratunam Market... were all within 3-4 stops from Phloen Chit. Rooms were really really spacious, clean, comfortable and we felt right at home. WIFI was really good too. Plenty of channels on TV too. Breakfast was about THB300 per person, limited variety. You can make use of the kitchenette to prepare your own meals. There's 7-11 nearby the BTS station. I'm very impressed with the accommodating and friendly staff of Tenface. Without them, our stay wouldn't be as wonderful. Thanks Tenface!
Exceptional experience. would love to return soon!”
my 3-night stay at tenface bangkok was wonderful from the moment we stepped into the hotel. the reception service was great and fuss-free, and the staff was very helpful throughout my stay. the one-bedroom suite i stayed in was amazing. spacious, comfortable, complete with amenities and extra details which made all the difference - free sim card, free one-day bts pass, ipod nano for rent, free and fast wifi. the decor of the room is very chic. free tuktuk service by the hotel is a winner, and the response by the hotel staff is very fast. simply call them up when you reach the ploenchit station (the dropoff / pickup point for the hotel tuktuk) and they will reach in a jiffy. can't wait to return again soon! the only hotel i will ever stay in bangkok from now on.
great hotel, huge rooms, quiet location”
the tenface is a gem tucked away in the heart of sukhumvit. the hotel is well designed and very contemporary, with large and spacious rooms that have balcony access. we had two suites and found that the location provided a nice respite from the bustle of bangkok streets. upon checking in, the hotel gave us complimentary welcome boxes with a free bts day pass, a free sim card and direction cards to take us to their top 10 attractions in bangkok (in english and thai) in case you needed to communicate with taxi drivers. the rooms were a little dark but otherwise i would highly recommend this place and would love to go back!
Tenface is most valuable”
Actually I heard Tenface name from one of my friends, at that time I have no idea why the hotel named "Tenface". Fews weeks ago I tried to find the most valuable hotel in downtown where nearby the entertaining area, so I got into internet. When I saw the room gallery in the net, I have to confess that I really like the room style so I decided to book via agoda, more over the Agoda is the cheapest offer I found. When I checked in, he receptionist gave me the box which she said it is the heart box and there is ipod and extra amenities in bathroom. When I walked through the common area, I felt that this hotel and saw all decorations, it is Theme hotel for Ramayana legend then I know why this hotel named "tenface". When I arrived my room, oh! the room is very comfortable, there are plenty of space and also decorated in the theme. The bathroom is nice and clean. the bed, the bed light, the wall, and all amentities, I can see that the developer of this hotel is really really pay attention to all details. It is very impressive and I already wen back twice already within one week.
This is one of my best hotel experience in Bangkok”
We were greeted by the friendly staffs when we alight at the hotel drop off point and we checked in pretty quickly. I booked this hotel as per my friend's recommendation and to our surprise, this indeed turn out to be a very good deal. We were given a heart box upon check in with complimentary map of Bangkok, a one day BTS pass, a SIM card with 15 baht value for you and some toiletries as souvenirs. Although the hotel is not very accessible from the main road, but they offer 24 hours shuttle services to and fro from the nearest BTS station. And the SIM card is exactly what they gave you for, to call them when you need them to pick you up from the BTS back to the hotel. Very nice experience as a whole and I would definitely choose Tenface as one of my favorite apartment hotel in Bangkok for my next trip.
A hidden gem”
I've been to Bangkok more than 20 times and this hotel is by far my new favorite. When we saw the price on Agoda, I thought it was too good to be true and that something must be wrong with the hotel. I'm glad to say that I was pleasantly suprised during our stay. The hotel is really a Serviced Apartment in a quiet residential street off of Wireless Road. The rooms are like one bedroom apartments with a separate living room and bedroom. The bathroom is bigger than some hotel rooms that I've stayed in before. Our room had some very funky Thai art hanging from the ceiling which was a great departure from the norm. In addition to the room, we found the service to be some of the best we've ever experienced at any price. The staff was incredibly helpful in arranging transportation and walked us out to the garage whenever we took a taxi. I highly recommend TenFace and will stay again on my next visit.
A superb hotel with excellent service”
Tenface is a beautiful hotel, with great facilities and brilliant staff (special shout out to Blair Waldorf and Bomb). Guests receive a little kit when they arrive including an ipod with tourist information, a one day pass for the skytrain and a SIM card. There's a fitness room and an outdoor pool (more for fitness than leisure, as it's long and thin). It's a little off-the-beaten-track but the hotel runs a free 24 hour tuktuk service to take you to the skytrain and also can get you a cab at the drop of a hat (and on a meter too - very important in Bangkok). Some reviewers have said they felt the road it's situated in is unsafe for walking down - I was travelling with my 15 year old daughter and at no time did we feel unsafe walking down there. If you're booking on Agoda and have any special requests, just email the hotel direct after booking - they organised an extra bed in the room and an airport pickup with no problems. In fact, nothing's a problem for these guys. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Most interesting hotel i have come across so far”
my stay at tenface has been excellent, the staff was very helpful and the room was great! each room is provided with an ipod which you can fill with movies downstairs at the sita bar, i think that this is a wonderful idea. the hotel provides shuttle service to the nearby train station, this helped alot because the hotel is quite deep in, which gives us more privacy. overall, i am very impressed with tenface and i will definately advise everyone to stay at tenface while in bangkok!:)
excellent boutique hotel”
before i went to Bangkok, i've read a lot of review about this hotel. most of the comment is complaining about the location, yes it is true that this hotel located right end of the road, however i didn't find it difficult to get in and out from/to the hotel, the tuk tuk service is there to bring you out, if u want to take a taxi also can. most of the taxi even tuk tuk know how to get to the hotel. in bangkok they way the pronounce tenface hotel is different from what we pronounce it in english, so u have to prepare a map about the hotel with thai transelation. basicly im satisfied and love this hotel
