"Overall the stay at Heiwadai Hotel Tenjin was satisfying. We stay for two nights and three days to experience the night life. The majority of the time we were not in the room. The location near the club strict was very close about. We were trying to get to place to meet a friend and had no idea how to go about getting there, but with the help of the front desk they were able to look it up on the internet, call a cab and explain to him how to get there. Very helpful staff at the Heiwadai Hotel Tenjin. Yes the room was small, the bed and pillows were hard but for the cheap price you can't beat it."

"The hotel is under the Hotel MyStays chain, which is just like the many other chains in Japan. As expected, rooms and bathrooms were small but clean and complete with all the necessary items to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel is only a three-minute walk from the Tenjin Chikagai and Tenjin Station, and hence the entire city is easily accessible. Tenjin Station is only a few stops from Nakasu Kuwabata, Hakata and the Fukuoka Airport Stations. We did a day-trips to Hiroshima (via Shinkansen from Hakata Station) and Nagasaki (via bus from the Nishitetsu Bus Terminal), which were very easy to get to. The hotel's vicinity has countless restaurants, karaoke centers, drug stores, convenience stores and the traditional yatai at night. It is also within a five- to ten-minute walk to the Daimyo and Imaizumi neighborhood, which is probably the best shopping area in Fukuoka. Not to mention that Tenjin has a Parco, Mitsukoshi, Iwataya, Daimaru, Loft, Tenjin Core, Vivre, Aeon and many other shopping centers! Staff were, as with any other Japanese, extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay in this hotel when in Fukuoka."
