Where to stay in Tenjin
Tenjin hotels & accommodations

The facilities are excellent and clean. The room seems to be small, but compared with other hotels in Japan, it could not be told to be so small. Wi-Fi is free although the speed is not so fast. The staff are very kind but their English speaking skills still need to be improved, which would be also acceptable considering other hotels in Japan. It takes about 15 minute...

i travel alone to fukuoka to have an important meeting. the hotel location is very good. just at the south end of tenjin subway underground walk, although quite a walk from the station. the room has good size and was very clean. the best thing about this hotel has to be the frontdesk. employees were very helpful and speak good english. that's the most important thing f...

A big shoutout to all the staff interns who were the most helpful people and in particular Mr. Saroz ! My first interaction with the hotel left me slightly disappointed as they rejected my request to leave my luggage prior to my stay, but later could understand why as the reception area was not large to start with. Our check in was smooth and there was an assortment o...

I normally would not spend this much money for a hotel, and the only reason I did was because I booked last minute and it was the only thing I could find that wasn't an hour away from Tenjin or Hakata. I intend to spend the rest of this review being sore over how expensive it was. Finding the hotel was a little confusing because there are two Nishitetsu Grand Hotels t...

If you are coming from the airport by taxi, it just costs about 2200Yen for a 15 minute drive. The taxi driver should be ok with Hotel Ascent at Tenjin. If you are coming by subway from the domestic airport, you would stop at Tenjin station. Then, look for signs that point towards Tenjin Chikagai (Tenjin Underground Shopping Street). You might be distracted by the vari...

Convenience Hotel in Tenjin area. I stay 1 night here and go to another city and come back to stay 2 nights. First night got bigger room and stay next to my friend room but when I come back, I stay in 8th floor but my friend stay in same room in 3rd floor. Staff that assign rooms should be concentrate a bit things of this. I didn't have breakfast then I don't have comm...

Solaria Nishitetsu is an older hotel but very well maintained. Location is excellent and the hotel is really value for money. Reception is at the 6/F which also houses a lot of good restaurants (Japanese, westerm, Chinese, Italian) and there is also a walkway to Mitsukoshi and Solaria Stage mall. There are various malls and shops within the area. For malls, you have Mi...

It’s a good place to stay for a vacation in Fukuoka. Although it’s not really a hotel but it’s better than the traditional Japanese hotel as it’s with much more space. And for the location, it’s actually near the Tenjin South Station but you can walk through the underground street to Tenjin Station while enjoying shopping. The room itself is clean and tidy and comforta...

Stayed at the Candeo hotel for 3 nights. Location was very convenient from the Tenjin station, can walk through the underground shopping area. Exiting Tenjin Station, Just follow the signs towards the Kokutai Road/Watanabe Dori area. Nice clean room, mattresses and pillows in Japan are generally on the firm side, and the Candeo hotel was no exception. Reception is on...

Court Hotel Tenjin is an ideal place to stay in Fukuoka. Very accessible! Right in the heart of the city but very peaceful environment. My family and I were very happy and satisfied with our 4-night stay there. The room and the facilities are clean. Polite hotel staff. Everything that a Traveler/Tourist need are just right around Court Hotel Tenjin. I would stay at Cou...

Great staff! The parking is a little tricky to understand but the staff had good english speaking skills and explained the parking to me very well. The expense of the parking is very reasonable and much better than street parking. The location is a little too south for walking to Hakata, Nakasu, or Tenjin in cold weather. The room and the included perks are amazing. On...

The location is the main winner. You can explore 2 sides of the city divided by the Naka River. It’s right beside the scenic canal which is right across Canal City in Nakasukawabata area where a lot of shopping and food crawls can be done. The hotel is also walking distance from Tenjin area where there are more poshier shopping and food. ACROS Fukuoka with its cascadin...

Excellent in terms of value for money. The hotel is clean and comfortable. We have booked a 3-bed room and being given on the top of the building, which we can have a balcony, enjoying the beautiful canal view. The room is much bigger than the standard hotel. Other than 2 twin beds and 1 king size bed, there is a living room, dining room , kitchen and with a toilet an...

I have stayed at this hotel four times now and I can not recommend it enough. The staff speak good english and are extremely flexible. The location is away from traffic and crowds and is a walk away from Hakata, Tenjin, and Nakatsu. The parking is reasonably priced and never full. There is a seven eleven conveniently located next door as well.

The hotel is under the Hotel MyStays chain, which is just like the many other chains in Japan. As expected, rooms and bathrooms were small but clean and complete with all the necessary items to ensure a comfortable stay. The hotel is only a three-minute walk from the Tenjin Chikagai and Tenjin Station, and hence the entire city is easily accessible. Tenjin Station is ...

Thank you to Miss Aika and her staff for their cheerful service during my stay. Yakuin stn is one stop away from Tenjin stn on the Nishitetsu Line making it very convenient. Hotel operated coin laundry w auto detergent and driers. Short taxi ride to Nakasu area. Average sized Japanese rooms but very clean and well appointed. Supermarket and small restaurants just 5 min...

I stayed this hotel two nights with my mom. Generally, I'm perfectly satisfied with it. It was near to Tenjin, but not located in the middle of downtown so it was quiet. The lobby was spacious and staff members were very nice. And I could easily communicate since there's a Korean staff member. The room was tiny but it's not that uncomfortable. All amenities were gre...

I had a four night stay in this hotel, and i was very lucky that my single room has promoted to a suite, which i had the biggest room i had ever experienced in Japan ! The location is good, takes about 5 to 10 minutes walk to either the Tenjin or Yakuin station, and accessing to dazaifu station from Yakuin station take less than 30mins. The room is clean n worth for th...

Basically there are many bus stops surround this hotel which make it easier to travel around. Buses to hakata station, tenjin station, even as far as to marinoa outlet city. Staffs are generally friendly but need to improve their basic English skills. Other than that, they are all very helpful and provide good service. Bed too soft and pillow too flat.

Near subway watanabe-dora but need to transit from Tenjin to Tenjin Minami station which takes 800m walk. Staffs are nice & helpful. Room is clean, seems newly renovated. A small wet market on next street but not really worth visiting. A 24 hrs store at the corner, just 1 min walk. Good to stay here.

I got a corner unit in the upper floors and the activity below did not bother my sleep at all. The room may be small, but it has all the amenities you may need (private shower, WiFi, multiple sockets for your charging needs). The location is the best feature as the hotel is located near the shopping malls of Tenjin, and walking distance from the yatai food stalls in Na...

The location to Tenjin subway is too far away with almost 1-1.2km. We need to take the Subway train from Tenjin to Hakata to access to almost everywhere. Unless you just want to stay at Tenjin for shopping, otherwise not recommended. Anyway, we are satisfied with the room's cleanliness and facilities.

we booked this hotel 15min in agoda.com before we check in, due to the guesthouse we booked earlier was horrible condition. the check in is easy and hassle free. i only showed my passport without printing out the voucher. this hotel is near to tenjin station. near to major shopping area, parco & solaria stage. hotel staff is extremely friendly. room is clean. they repl...

It’s located at a very interesting building where the lower floors are cowork space. (There’s no cup in the room so I borrowed from office). The reception ladies were very courteous and helpful. They understood basic English but eager to help. The location of the hotel is convenient - adjacent to shopping area and nice restaurants, and plenty of interesting places to e...
Cheap places to stay in Tenjin

Propose of Stay: JR Travel + Enjoying Tenjin area in Fukuoka Very convenient location to enjoy Tenjin area in Fukuoka, Kyushu, Japan. Near Tenjin station- Fukuoka Subway Kuko Line, easy access to FUK int'l airport, many shopping locations, etc. Plus, only JPY 100 is needed to take bus to or from JR Hakata station. Only one thing: mattress was quite too thin. Otherwise...

Super convenient location at Tenjin, hotel lobby is big and pretty but the rooms are pretty small and old. Staff are super nice with great smiles. It's a good choice if you dont care too much about the look of the room since it's really cheap.

I am a single backpacker, my first time visit Fukuoka to try going Japan trip alone. Location:When I booked the hostel, I already knew the location not near the subway, & i accept it. I mainly use the river as the landmark to guide my direction. Once i reached the river, i found it. Moreover, I can see the Canal City easily from there. View: I booked the 4-single bed...

Overall the stay at Heiwadai Hotel Tenjin was satisfying. We stay for two nights and three days to experience the night life. The majority of the time we were not in the room. The location near the club strict was very close about. We were trying to get to place to meet a friend and had no idea how to go about getting there, but with the help of the front desk they wer...

I enjoyed my stay here as the staff were so helpful and polite. I had difficulties communicating in Japanese and the staff helped call for a cab and made sure I was charged the right amount and told the driver exactly where to go. Rooms were clean. This is also within walking distance to Tenjin.

I had a last minute booking with Book and Bed Tokyo in their Tenjin, Fukuoka branch since I needed to stay overnight for my layover. It was a good stay overall being my first stay in a capsule/hostel fusion. It was a little warm inside the pods so I guess they’ll need to improve on their circulation. Everything was clean, it has a homey ambience despite its theme. The...

Really nice little hotel in the Tenjin area of Fukuoka. Close by to many good restaurants and shopping. Also close to Subway stations and Bus stops. Walking distance to Yetai stands and Canal City. Staff is very helpful and kind. Would stay here again.
Luxury hotels in Tenjin
