The accommodation is in good condition, and it's nice to use the private onsen. The place is clean, and of course, if you book a room without a shower facility, it can be annoying to have to go to the onsen each time you need to wash up, but it's still good. Especially, even if you book a package that doesn't include kaiseki, make sure to add kaiseki to your meal. I think we go here partly for the kaiseki because it is so delicious. It’s 6600 yen per person, but going out to eat would cost around 10000 yen for two, so I think it's reasonable. It’s definitely a place for kaiseki and breakfast that you won’t regret. The taste is spot on and the quality is amazing! I really love it! However, when I visited two years ago and even this time, we had some strange experiences. Two years ago, I definitely turned off the TV, left it on a distant table, and went to sleep, but in the morning, I found it on. I asked my boyfriend if he watched TV and fell asleep, but he said no, that he just went to sleep and woke up in the morning. He thought I had turned it on in the morning... I hadn’t touched the remote, so I wondered if we were just being sensitive. This time, though, I was scared (I used to have sleep paralysis before meeting my boyfriend, but since meeting him, I haven't had it; he experienced it just once). I brought coarse salt and red beans with me, but in the early morning, I heard something dropping in the bathroom a few times and thought it might have been my imagination, so I just went back to sleep. The next morning, I woke up first. I thought it was fine since it was morning, so I put the salt and red beans in my suitcase and did a little packing (my boyfriend was still asleep). I turned my back to my boyfriend while searching on my phone on Naver. I usually watch YouTube or Instagram silently when he sleeps, so I thought it was very calm, and I didn’t hear any sounds. When breakfast time came, I woke my boyfriend up, and while we were talking during the meal, he asked if I whispered in his ear or if I watched something like YouTube ASMR. I said no, that I wouldn’t make any sounds while he sleeps because I didn’t want to wake him. I told him that it was very quiet in the morning, and he said no, someone whispered in his ear. However, it was just two sentences, and since it was in Japanese, he couldn’t understand it, but the first sentence started with “gu” and the second with “mata.” He woke up after hearing the whispers and thought I was watching something like YouTube. But I don’t know Japanese, so I just thought maybe it was something like “You came again?” So, I looked it up in Japanese and found out that “matagitane” means “You came again.” It was a female voice, and I wonder if it was just a coincidence... I don’t know if experiencing this phenomenon twice while visiting is a concern. Anyway, I’m not sure if we’re the only ones who experienced this, but being right in front of the sea might have something to do with it. It’s a personal experience, so I don’t want to express any fear or anxiety. I’m just sharing what I went through. Has anyone else experienced a similar situation while staying here?
