We booked for 2 rooms but they gave us 1”
We booked for 2 rooms but when we arrived they told us that the electric breaker broke, ofcourse thats not true. Its 12mn and tired so we share the room. They initially said we still have to pay for 2 rooms. But end up charging us for family room which cost almost the same as 2 rooms.

Worst hotel in the worst place I've ever travelled”
If you're a backpacker and considering Puerto Princesa, I'd urge you no to. This hotel is the physical manifestation of everything wrong with the city it's in. The rooms are filthy. The wardrobe in my room had random scattered magazine pages in it, dispersed like a pornography by a 14 year old in the back lane of a council estate, which seemed to be home to various insects. The décor is rotten and crawling with ants. The bathroom floor is constantly wet as it's made on uneven ground, and the bath mat is damp too. This is almost expected of a place like the Philippines, and would be forgiveable, if it wasn't for the attitude of the staff. The female staff member is fine, and provides basic customer service such as replying to you when you say 'hello'. The male on the other hand is not only terrible at customer service, but seems to be a fundamentally rude and unpleasant person. I tried organising a trip through the reception and he got annoyed each time I asked a question. When his toddler son (I assume it was his son and hopefully not an employee) who was minding the front desk alone shouted for him one time to let me know I was there, he rolled his eyes and was extremely hostile in me asking a question about an excursion, raising his voice and shouting 'i don't know'. I decided to be extra nice to him to try and make him feel bad for being so rude, so I would say hello when entering and leaving, but he just grunted while watching YouTube videos. I never ended up going to San Vicente which he was meant to help me book, and ended up staying in the Puerto Princesa, riding out my trip as if it was a bad virus until I got my flight. The location is quite central, though there's nothing to do here but sweat, avoid traffic, and get covered in dust while on your way to a junk food restaurant. The WiFi was fine and I had few problems. Breakfast was a packet of coffee and some dregs of warm water, a small black banana, soggy egg, and a slice of un toasted bread.

Thumbs up for hospitality.”
We only stayed there to sleep basically because we were mostly out buying souvenirs and going around. I was worried that the staff will be annoyed of my kakulitan since we had some requests, yet ms.jane (i hope i remembered it right) had been very accommodating. Even the next day, she was very graceful in bringing us our breakfasts. Breakfast was fine, since we only paid low for our stay. Kahit nga walang breakfast, okay na. In fact, sa sobrang mura nya, nagulat ung kasama namin, akala nya niloloko ko sya because it was like paying for just one room sa ibang hotels. And since we were with two kids, they were kind enough to get us quiet rooms, plus ovaltine for the kids instead of the usual coffee that comes with the breakfast. Hindi lang sya masyadong well-kept kasi sira na ung cabinets and hindi sparkling clean ung bathroom, though the heater is working well naman. In summary, kung di ka maarte and you're looking for a place to just sleep, it would be wise to book teofila pension.
