"This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! The room we had was spacious and clean, with lots of storage for your luggage. I was surprised that there were so many events organised by the hostel so you’ll never have trouble finding things to do while you’re here. The bed was super comfortable, so comfortable that we really wish we could’ve stayed longer. The location is great since it’s really close to a metro station, and not too far from the Roma termini. The neighbourhood is very quiet so you won’t have any trouble sleeping at all. They did have a singer down in the courtyard on Friday and Saturday night, but it ended latest just past eleven so it’s not too late either. If I ever come back to Rome I’d love to stay here again! Highly recommended!"

"We stopped in Hotel Bolognese for two nights. We needed a place only for overnights, as all days long we were spending sightseeing Rome. For this purpose hotel was excellent. We had good sleep and fresh Italian breakfast in the morning. The owner is nice and helpful. Location of the hotel (15 minutes of walking from Termini station) is very good. Easy to get to the hotel straight from and to the airport. Just next to the hotel there is bus stop and with bus number 62 you can easily get to most of the important spots in Rome. In our shower there were some problems with water outflow. Also watch out for the amount of the city tax that the owner is charging during check-out! Anyway for this price we recommend Hotel Bolognese with pleasure."

"The Champagne Palace Hotel is centrally located. This property is only a couple blocks from Termini Station, Rome´s major transportation hub. Santa Maria Maggiore is only a couple blocks away. You will find plenty of inexpensive dining options in the area (Pastarito restaurant is probably the best one). Shopping opportunities are plentiful on the nearby Via Nazionale. Standard rooms are small in size (this applies to the bathroom as well). Breakfast is included but offers only a small assortment of cold cuts & cheese, cereal, and sweet breads. Staff do not speak English very well, but they are extremely professional and eager to help. All in all, this is a very good value-for-money choice - but I believe that 3 stars would be a more accurate rating than the 4 stars that the hotel indicates."

"From what I've read from other reviews I was quite worried what to expect. For the price we paid for the three nights stay I wasn't expecting anything fancy. That is what you need to keep in mind when booking this hotel, you don't get fancy 3 stars hotel or rooms for the low price which this hotel has. The hotel staff was nice, they kept our luggage during the day because we arrived soon. The elevator to the rooms wasn't very nice but it was quite clean. The room itself was OK, nothing special, the bathroom was big enough but what we was really bad was the smell of toilet in the bathroom. Otherwise we didn't have any problems, air condition worked well as a heater and TV worked fine as well. We didn't spend much time in the room as we were out in Rome during the day. For the short stays and good price, I believe the hotel is fine. But really not a 3 stars hotel and they shouldn't be using this rate."
