"The Champagne Palace Hotel is centrally located. This property is only a couple blocks from Termini Station, Rome´s major transportation hub. Santa Maria Maggiore is only a couple blocks away. You will find plenty of inexpensive dining options in the area (Pastarito restaurant is probably the best one). Shopping opportunities are plentiful on the nearby Via Nazionale. Standard rooms are small in size (this applies to the bathroom as well). Breakfast is included but offers only a small assortment of cold cuts & cheese, cereal, and sweet breads. Staff do not speak English very well, but they are extremely professional and eager to help. All in all, this is a very good value-for-money choice - but I believe that 3 stars would be a more accurate rating than the 4 stars that the hotel indicates."

"This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! The room we had was spacious and clean, with lots of storage for your luggage. I was surprised that there were so many events organised by the hostel so you’ll never have trouble finding things to do while you’re here. The bed was super comfortable, so comfortable that we really wish we could’ve stayed longer. The location is great since it’s really close to a metro station, and not too far from the Roma termini. The neighbourhood is very quiet so you won’t have any trouble sleeping at all. They did have a singer down in the courtyard on Friday and Saturday night, but it ended latest just past eleven so it’s not too late either. If I ever come back to Rome I’d love to stay here again! Highly recommended!"

Room had some minor ticking noise on first night, but was fixed on the the 2nd night. There was big hotel event on the 2nd night which made a lot of noise even until 11PM at night. Location is great, next to the Termini station even tho most of the time where using Taxi. But it's close to many attractions."

"We stopped in Hotel Bolognese for two nights. We needed a place only for overnights, as all days long we were spending sightseeing Rome. For this purpose hotel was excellent. We had good sleep and fresh Italian breakfast in the morning. The owner is nice and helpful. Location of the hotel (15 minutes of walking from Termini station) is very good. Easy to get to the hotel straight from and to the airport. Just next to the hotel there is bus stop and with bus number 62 you can easily get to most of the important spots in Rome. In our shower there were some problems with water outflow. Also watch out for the amount of the city tax that the owner is charging during check-out! Anyway for this price we recommend Hotel Bolognese with pleasure."

"Modern and very clean. Very good breakfast and friendly, unassuming staff. Room and bathroom sizes are very good. Fridge, safe, AC (which worked well in both our rooms over 5 very hot days), and balcony were all features we appreciated. A good supermarket is across the street, as is G Fassi, one of Rome’s oldest (and excellent) gelato/icecream shops. Two metro stations are close by making this a great hotel to get around easily from. The only downside is that the neighborhood isn’t all that great. But, given all the plusses, and the fact that we never felt unsafe returning from sightseeing even at midnight, this did not bother us. "

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. the hotel is located just 5 minutes walking from Termini Central Station with full access to pubblic transport. In that area there are also very good restaurants at good price. My room was clean and quite comfortable and even the bathroom was big for the hotel average size in Rome. I would recommend this hotel especially if you are a business traveller."
