Eco-design accomodation”

Sunrise, Drifting Clouds, Insects Sound

Thanks to the Terra's Tree House gave me the opportunity as a seasoned traveller but also as a citizen of Malaysia to share our appreciation for the environment. Stayed in the tree house, you don't actually need to climb up the tree, there are some sturdy steps! Terra's Tree House build in the nurture unique environment, restoring each tree house through native trees, and being sustainable and eco friendly accomodation in Cameron Highlands. I believe they will continue to make refinements day-to-day operations for the tree house. Beside, they do put in efforts to enhance the local environment by growing vegetables organically as well. From my observation during stayed in the tree house, they aim is to reduce, recycle and compost. All guest do practise compost all kitchen waste after meal. Through the practicing, it may rise the awareness for all the guest how to save the planet and start to take part daily after the trip. In a nutshell, I love the Terra's Tree House very much.

Amazing experience, but do your research ”

Being in the jungle, the tree houses, and the food

If you're looking for some adventure, Terra's Tree House is an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience. The jungle is so beautiful, and staying in a tree house is such a cool concept. However, this type of stay is not for everyone, so do some research about it before booking. Being that the tree house is in the jungle, when you go to it, you have to stay there since it's a trek to get there, that can only be done in a 4x4 car. For us, the food was great, the house was great, and just being in the location we were in was amazing.

Terra's Tree House is simply stunning.”

Location, experience, staff.

It was amazing. Everything about it... The taxi driver not knowing what the hell Terra's Tree was... to getting picked up the 4x4 to get up there. Felt like we were in Indian Jones! Staff were friendly and attentive. Offering us dinner and beer as we forgot to buy supplies before we got up there! Our tree house was beautiful. Finished to high standards with a big beautiful bathroom. It was my boyfriends dream staying there. Waking up to bird song.. falling asleep to the gentle sway of the house around the tree it was built around. We HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Best experience ever”

nature, food, adventure

Only for those who is adventurous and not for people who expect five star resort. Very authentic tree house, it was a really different experience. Great for people who wants to be close to nature yet still have access to modern plumbing. Lots of photo opportunity so bring your camera. Flashlight is a must, but if you have battery powered LED light, bring it along too because the tree house can be a bit dark inside. Whatever they portray on their website is quite accurate. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would love to go back again if we have a chance.

A wonderful place to get 'away from it all'!”

The location was stunning; the food was exceptionally good; the facilities we more than we expected and the staff were delightful!

It was a wonderful 'getaway' after a very busy period of work for us. It was just what we needed and we were very happy with our time there. The location is stunning and the tree-houses remarkably comfortable! The staff were wonderful, and the food delicious and beautifully presented. It was so good to be in the heart of the rainforest and able to rest and relax in such a lovely place.

it's a tree house!”

in jungle, tree house, lack of modern condition!

My first time in a tree house! so exciting! I arrived late at night, but still can manage with the driver to drive us to the Terra's Tree House. I enjoy my staying by lacking of modern condition. Water in bathroom come from a stream...and it's damn cool! If lucky, you can see some firefly. Free simple breakfast but very healthy or you can serve your own cook! I would recommend to make some challenge to get to the "room", can change from wood stair to rope! : )

A unique and memorable experience”

Passionate staff, delectable organic meals, fresh mountain air, most relaxing and unique experience.

The stay was truly memorable and high recommended to those who are looking for a break away from the hectic city life. The tree house has an excellent concept to bring the guests closer to nature and learn how to live simply. The manager and her colleagues have a wealth of experience to share and are excellent cooks who created meals which I am still thinking of.

Accommodation with a huge potential!”

Set in the middle of the forest. Natural building materials. The architecture of the tree houses.

We enjoyed our stay at Terra's tree house a lot! But considering that it is definitely not a cheap accommodation we would have been happy to get a bit more attention from the manager, especially on the day of our departure. We informed one of the employees about our departure time on the day before. We were supposed to get a lift to Brinchang, the closest town at 9 a.m., because walking there is not a very short trip. But on the morning of our departure, nobody was there to give us a lift. So we left at 11 a.m. and had to hitchhike to town. We think that every customer travelling to Terra's Tree house should be aware that he cannot get there unless with a 4WD car or a lift from the hotel staff. And also it's important to know that guests are supposed to cook themselves. We thought there would be a restaurant as mentioned in the agoda description. But cooking our own meals was perfectly fine for us.

High up in the trees overlooking nature, exciting!”

the treehouse, high up in the tree, build according to the native people Ashli; the view and surrounding jungle; the fresh organic fruits and veggies

In one word, wonderful! Note that this is a hotel high up in the mountains, long and steep walks. The houses are made of branches and bamboo, very solid, but a bit scary to enter for the first time. Food is not served, you have to bring your own or eat from the garden for a small price. Except for a walk through the garden, and some tracks through the jungle, a fireplace and making music together on wood, there is not much else to do. But when you are a real nature lover that is really all you need. On agoda it was not possible to book for more than 3 pers. per house. In reality we could stay in one house all together. Under recommend the area for I put in family fun since I miss the term nature.

relaxing stay”

comfortable bed, treehouse was very interesting, peaceful surroundings

I had a lovely stay at Terra's Treehouse. The surroundings and serenity was beautiful. Food was very nice and tasty however it would have been nice to have some meat also as I was left hungry after dinner. I had to ask for a torch, they were not handed out and there were no small luxuries in the room such as soap or even towels. The hot water tap for the shower had very low pressure and dribbled out too. There is only one lift back to town each day at 11am check out which I found very restrictive. Overall i had a lovely experience but there is certainly room for improvement.

Perfect for an escape from the city”

I love how secluded it is. Away from the chaos and noise. We feel really relaxed and peaceful while we were there. The open-air concept of the house revitalized our soul. The food is really good too, all fresh from the farms, planted by the owners, healthy and delicious. Will come back again for another escape!

Amazing experience ”

Nature, atmosphere, bio-dynamic vegetarian food

Perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying nature. Treehouses were awesome, simple but we even had gass heated shower! Staff was extremely friendly, common area great for hanging out. If one wants an escape from hot weather and hectic city life, this is the place to be. As an over all experience, could be compared to camping. Amazing vegetables. To our surprise all food and drinks were included in the price (I don't know if it's always so). Take warm clothes, pack light and be prepared to climb up and down the hill. Surrounding farms undergoing heavy development, may overrun silence. If you like snacks and or alcohol, take it with you. Truly amazing, perfect for us, will be back for sure!

The adventure of travelling to the site, the hiking through nature and the peace you get just being surrounded by nature

We loved every second of our getaway...right from the trip there, to the trekking up to our treehouse. Rachel and Ngiam was very warm and welcoming. The whole ambience was more than I expected. For someone who absolutely love nature, this was an experienced that I truly enjoyed. It was pure bliss and so peaceful. We didn't want it to end. The rooms were in good condition with hot shower and clean toilet! Everything was amazing. Our jungle trekking to the waterfall was another adventure that we cherished. We will definitely come back...thanks to the whole team from Terra! Even our jeep n hilux driver were the best 😊😍

different, amazing treehouses, relaxing”

originality of rooms, fresh products to cook with, trekking

Fabulous relaxing time, but the rainy season is later this year so it was always very humid. As this is up in the mountain, temperature was always around 16-18 degrees Celcius. So it was cold and even though the bed covers are amazing, we would start the night in a humid bed everynight. DON'T TAKE A TAXI TO GET THERE. It's way up in the mountain and taxi can't get there. The hotel offers shuttle anyway. Staff was fantastic. They offered us a visit to the sister farm, about an hour from there, where the owner gave us a tour of his establisment, explaning bio-dynamic farming. Would recommend the place to anyone who want's something different and relaxing, as long as they are ok with trekking 10 minutes uphill with their luggages to get to there cabin. btw, cabin # 6 is a solid trek with a backpack!
