Lack of amenities made up for by staff.”
Our room lacked a microwave, but it didn't bother me one bit. All I had to do was buy a cup for hot water from Starbucks and my ramen noodles tasted just fine. (I am LDS and therefore could not purchase food in the cafe due to respect for the Sabbath.) And my barista was as polite and informative as anyone could ask. The hotel gives out plenty of ice which was another great bonus. But most importantly, the staff, security guards, and waitresses were like friends to me. Not only were they available, but also knowledgeable and sweethearts. I also appreciate the dutiful attitude of the hotel's security. Too many times I've observed a somewhat over relaxed attitude by guards at various establishments, but the Texas is different, their guards take the safety and well being of others seriously. Finally, our bed sheets were straightened each time we returned, and I never once suffered the smell of smoke or liquor while in the lobby. The Texas definitely has my love.

Just Great!”
Spent one night here, parking no problem! Its safe, the casino wasn't deafeningly loud, the price is unbeatable too! The buffet and BBQ restaurant is the best food I've had in Vegas in a long time, it's a must. The room was clean, the HVAC is great (not loud), it's quiet, the water ran hot. All in all, this place is a no-brainer, you won't go wrong. 2 things to note, they've a "players card" you can get which brings the cost of food down (rooms too I believe). The other is the $100 deposit when you sign in (incase you damage the room) that's immediately returned upon inspection when checking out.

My family and I had a great time and good sleep. We can't wait to go back. Las Vegas is a great place to vacation with or with out children. Lot of great thing to see and do with the family. Don't forget to visit the lake and the dam.

great off strip hotel”
We enjoyed our stay of 3 nights. The rooms are nice and clean but no extras like a coffee machine. And yes the elevators are slow. But we gambled every night and checked out other local hotels and Texas Station had the best air quality.

I was almost completely satisfied but the ice machine on our floor was not working when we checked in but they did fix it and when we went to get our players cards those machines were not working but the ladies were very nice so we just came back after breakfast so no big deal. The Bingo hall is huge and was full so I decided my odds were not that great so decided to go to palace station but I did pretty good on the slots so I can't complain. Overall I was satisfied enough to stay here again.

We were there to visit our grand and great-grandchildren. Perfect location, clean spacious rooms, did not have to leave for a good selection of food - all were inside the hotel, the staff was helpful and very congenial.

I would stay here again if I was with kids. We stayed here during a youth baseball tournament and the kids had a blast bowling and in the arcade. Food court provided many options. The facilities exceeded my expectations for the price we paid to stay here. Area was a bit sketchy, but not too bad. Overall, good experience.

A good location to stay if you have a car, as the hotel is located a few mils off the strip. Resort fee is about half of what the hotels charge on the strip. Very comfortable room, the only issue is the super slow internet.

It was a decent stay. Stayed here for my cousin's wedding. It was chill. Read reviews before going & expected something bad but the room was clean. Slept pretty well. No problem at all. Only thing was no room service when I woke up wanting breakfast.

I would certainly stay here again as it was a great value for the money. The facilities were clean and well maintained; the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the room was spacious and cozy. There is nothing that I could see needs changing - overall I am very pleased and will stay here again.

NICE STAY”
THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T LIKE WAS THEY CHARGED A $100 DEPOSIT AND WHEN I WENT TO CHECK OUT I HAD TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO INSPECT THE ROOM IN ORDER TO GET MY MONEY BACK. ALSO HAD TO WAIT FOR THE FRONT DESK TO COME BACK FROM THIER BREAK. I THINK YOU SHOULD MAKE PEOPLE AWARE THAT THE FRONT DESK IS CLOSED BETWEEN 3:30 AND 4:30 AM. ALOT OF FLIGHTS OUT OF VEGAS ARE AT 6:00AM AND PEOPLE NEED TO CHECK OUT BETWEEN 3:30 AND 4:30 IN ORDER TO GET TO AIRPORT ON TIME

Was not that relaxed”
I choose this hotel coz it is near to our place. me and my son decided to spend our weekend at this hotel so we can relax. At first, the room looks ok and neat. but then I realized that it was not that clean. im wearing a black pants, when i lay down the bed i notice that the sheets were dusty. I was about to turn off the lights then i noticed that the lamp is dusty too, so as the side table and the telephone... I'm allergic to dust, but i have no choice to stay at the room. It was past midnight, you can hear a lot of loud noises at the alley, children running at late hours, people walking at talking loud. For 3 days and 2 nights, i wasn't able to relax. Before i booked the hotel it says that they have a 24 hrs. room service, and i saw it on the receipt i printed before we checked in. I called the hotel reception to ask for water, she transferred me to the room service line. Unfortunately the person who answered the call said that they don't have a room service. So ok, my son is hungry and thirsty... that person told me to go to the cafe or starbucks instead. It's kinda late and my son doesn't want to go out. Hotel fare is cheap and so as the room... that's all.

Went to a birthday party in the area so we stayed here one night. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean. It's not a luxury hotel but it's a good place to stay. If I were passing through I'd stay here again. Infact my fiancee and her mom are returning for another party at the same location and they are staying here again. The casino is big with lots of slot machines. Although I didn't eat there the Sunday brunch was only $10.99

Went there to be near and celebrate my little”
It was a life saver knowing they kept my reservation even though I was slightly late. It was extremely comfortable and I felt safe bring the little guy there after a day out for his Bday. Only negative was the view of the wall from the window and not many kid friendly channels on the tv. Which the kid mad clear he wasn't happy about lol. But we made it work and were relaxed doing it.
