A very pleasant stay at Abad Whispering Palms with a beautiful view of the Vembanad lake”
We stayed at Abad whispering palms 12-14 Dec and enjoyed our stay a lot. The best part of the stay was the gorgeous view of the Vembanad lake (we stayed at the lake view cottage) and the swimming pool overseeing the lake. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean and did up in the authentic Kerala house style, except the bath tub was rusty (while we did not use the bath tub, it would have been better to actually provide a shower area perhaps or maybe the open space inside the washroom should be converted into a shower area for a natural bath feel). Overall would surely recommend this resort. It is definitely value for money.

Decent resort with great location”
The resort is located by the lake and the lake view cottages provide an excellent view of the entire lake. The rooms are decent and well appointed, though the maintenance could be better. While the food and service was generally good, there's significant room for improvement in the responsiveness and speed of service. Overall great place for a family vacation. Please note the resort DOES NOT serve liquor though one can consume within your cottage / room.
