ผมได้พักที่ห้องสองห้องนอนสองคืน ห้องพักสะอาดและสบายมากๆ! เนื่องจากต้องออกเดินทางเช้ามาก็ขอร้องจัดรถแท็กซี่ และพนักงานได้จัดให้รถแท็กซี่รอเราก่อนเช็คเอาท์ พนักงานบริการดีมากๆ ขอบคุณครับ อยากกลับมาพักที่โรงแรมนี้อีกครั้ง

มีการจองพักพร้อมเพื่อนอีก 2 คน เป็นเวลา 5 คืน ปรากฏว่าไม่การดูดฝุ่นและเปลี่ยนผ้าปูที่นอนตลอด 5 คืน สำหรับเตียงเสริมไม่ได้จัดปูที่นอนเลย การเช็คเอาร์มีการสอบถามเมื่อแรกเข้าขอออกเวลา 12.00 น. ซึ่ง front counter ก็รับ เพราะ late check in แต่เมื่อถึงวันจริงคือวันที่ 27 jul 16 เวลาเช้า front โทร.มาถามเรื่องเวลาออก และได้ตอบไปว่า 11.00 แต่ความเป็นจริงหัวหน้าแม่บ้านมาเคาะห้องเวลา 10.30 น.และบอกว่าเวลาcheck out คือ 10.00 น.ดังนั้นจะมีการ charge day time ซึ่งไม่เหมาะสมเวลา check in 14.30 แต่ check out 10.00 ซึ่งไม่ครบ 24 ชั่วโมง ในการนับเป็น 1 วัน

Medina Grand Hotel เป็นอีกหนึ่งโรงแรมที่นักท่องเที่ยวที่จะเดินทางไปเมล์เบิร์นสามารถไปพักได้ เนื่องจากอยู่ตรงใจกลางเมือง ใกล้ห้างอย่างเดวิด โจนส์ หรือร้านอาหารย่านไชน่าทาวน์ การเดินทางไปขึ้นรถรางก็สะดวก เดินห่างจากที่พักเพียงไม่กี่บล็อค พนักงาน reception ให้ความช่วยเหลือเป็นอย่างดีในเรื่องของการแนะนำสถานที่ท่องเที่ยว รวมถึงห้องพักที่เป็น service apartment จึงมีบริการในเรื่องของ ของใช้ในครัว เครื่องซักผ้า เครื่องอบผ้าอย่างครบถ้วน แต่ข้อเสียของที่นี่คือ มีกลิ่นเหม็นอับๆ โชยมาจากท่อเป็นระยะ

I booked a 2 bedroom penthouse because I thought it'd be good to have separate spaces for our family to be able to relax. Things we liked - the furnishing/space of the dining room/breakfast bar/ lounge area. It really was huge - the view from the floor to ceiling window was lovely to look at every morning and night - kitchen was well equipped, Adrian on reception was really helpful when I couldn't get the dryer going 😅 - lots of different options for lighting in the main room - large comfy sofa and big TV screen to watch UK election coverage late into the night - separate utility area to help reduce noise (though I'll come to why this ended up being pointless for us) - lots of storage space in cupboards - location is fantastic - the lady who checked us in was lovely, the man who checked us out was also nice and efficient Now the things which were a disappointment - though you have space at Adina, it is hugely overpriced, we spent less on a 2 bedroom suite in a luxury brand 5* hotel in Sydney and didn't encounter the issues we did here - The lobby is rather nice but our first impressions of floor 20/21 was that the carpets were filthy - debris all over them - the penthouse apartment we booked felt more like a loft apartment which is fine, but I didn't expect the upstairs bedrooms to be quite so small or with such low ceilings. As a result they were extremely dark and the lighting in them was poor (presumably because you're relying on lamps and not ceiling lights) - the cupboards in the rooms were even darker and it was impossible to see any of our items inside without a torch light. A simple strip of wardrobe lighting and brighter lamps would fix this issue. - the staircase leading upstairs had an extra length of wooden plinth at the bottom (just bad design) which constantly tripped us all up. The last stair in a staircase should not have anything jutting out at the sides because it doesn't make any design sense whatsoever. They were also highly polished to the point where they were slippery - I wouldn't recommend for families with younger kids. (Ours are 12 and 10) - the dining chairs and sofa all had some degree of staining on them. - for a place like this the TV really should be a smart TV in this day and age. - the duvet/comforter was not covered properly with a designated duvet cover, they just use a flat sheet on top and bottom so the duvet often gets exposed which doesn't feel very hygienic - the shower cubicle had a mouldy ceiling above it, the grouting was also blackened with mould, the bathrooms were very small and the sinks were also not particularly functional with the taps to just one side (fine for handwashing, not much use for face washing etc.) - the rails in the bathroom are square and extremely sharp. I know you're trying to do the whole modern thing but in a bathroom of that size, people are going to scratch and hurt themselves on more than one occasion on those sharp edges. When you don't have room, make it functional first, stylish second. The second bathroom had a bathtub shower but the bath tap (also sharp and square) was jutting out in the middle of the bath - meaning we had a few knee scrapes while trying to shower in there. I generally don't complain about design but when something becomes awkward/difficult/a hazard to use and you notice that it's a common theme throughout the apartment it's difficult to ignore and it makes you wonder who they hired to fit the place out. I'd laugh if I hadn't spent thousands of dollars. - THE biggest issue for us however was the noise from the air con/heater. I'd say around 70% of the time we were there it made a noise similar to that of a washing machine. Really, REALLY loud. On the first day I thought it may have been just getting fired up as the place was 16 degrees inside so thought it was just working harder than usual to get the place warm. On the second day my husband showed the reception staff videos of how loud it was and we were promised

Great location. Quite clean two-bedroom apartment with basic cooking facilities. Gym is basic. Not sure if an apartment hotel doesn’t have a bellboy service. If there is, it is a bit of a disappointment having to bring 6 luggages by my self to our apartment without help whatsoever.
