I had a fantastic stay here! One of the standout features was the excellent lighting in the room—a rare and refreshing change! The room was bright, with ample lighting options for both work and relaxation, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. This attention to detail made the space feel extra comfortable and functional. Coco, our front desk angel, the best of thoughtfulness and attentiveness, after a long flight of 18hrs, her hospitality had gave us the comfort and ease to have our room as we arrive. The room is much of a surprise, with a very well equipped pantry, all good enough for general cooking and baking. The washroom is also a plus, nothing fancy, great hot shower, towel warmer good enough for some washed clothes, clean and nice. The bed is however, a bit too soft for us, but all linens and pillows and very clean. We were so lucky to have a SPECTACULAR view from our room, overlooking Old train bridge and Police station, just a few minutes walk from the Birmingham Coach Station, a few mins walk for Bull Ring, Grand Central Station. Our stay had been a comfortable and felt well taken cared of. Once again, thanks very much Coco for taking good care of us.

my 5 days stay at Adagio”
firstly i was a bit shocked because there is immediate a construction site near the hotel but ive got a suite on a opposite site and didnt hear nothing on the day. on nights they are not working. Otherwise in the heart of the citycenter and central station 10 min. by walk without problems. was visiting squash british open at repertory theatre lets say 12 min. by walk and through the mall streets and tesco. so it was really advantegous. very clean everything got a kitchen corner, everything fine for easy cooking. silent floor. clean air, nothing to complain. A small improvement i would recommend: i missed bbc2, bbc3 and any sports channel to watch sports especially french open (eurosport would be great). would try it again...

Parking Issue The hotel mentioned that parking would only cost £5 with their affiliated parking facility. When I checked in, the staff activated my parking card and told me I could pay directly at the parking lot when I returned my car. However, when I tried to pay at the kiosk, it charged me £16. I went back to the hotel to explain the situation and request a refund. Unfortunately, another staff member informed me that the hotel wasn’t responsible, as they only had an agreement with the parking facility, and guests who had already paid weren’t able to receive refunds from the parking facility. As a first-time guest, I had no way of knowing about the specifics of this agreement; I simply relied on the hotel’s information and the description on Agoda. Even during check-in, I was assured it would only be £5. This experience, especially with the staff member during check-out, has been quite disappointing.
