Probably the best hotel in Seoul”

I wanted to book a room with pool but accidentally book a club suite. But room was perfect, very spacious and clean. Everything was awesome including staffs and facilities. Outside pool was a bit expensive but worth visit.

2 nights stay at the pool suite, some distance from town by walking in winter, taxi advised. nice view toward N Seoul tower, and friendly staff with fast respond. Room are clean and comfortable, too bad that pool are not jacuzzi.

Awesome experience”

Whenever I go Banyan Tree is always the best choice in service and food quality as well as the view no matter beach or city. This was my 2nd time visited Banyan Tree. I was awesome and my club room have a huge bathing pool. The welcome dessert was so special (lady finger make into chocolate) which I never tried before. And the indoor pool was huge as well and It was a wasted that I have no time for it. I highly recommended here for holiday.

fantastic hotel ”

Located in the expat military area or former downtown of Seoul, this hotel is a great hotel with an excellent choice of restaurants, facilities and outstanding features in the bedroom such as jacuzzi and steam room. Staff were very accommodating.

Beautiful hotel”

it was for 2nd anniversary and i stayed just 1 day. i wish it was longer schedule. i stayed with my wife and my 1 year boy. the staffs are perfectly kind and my room was upgraded from premier to deluxe suite. it was perfectly pleasant stay and i will come back again very soon for relax.

Great room facility with well trained staff”

I love the facilities in the hotel.The pool inside the room is definitely amazing. The staff are of well trained with fluent English. They are willing to help and are patient to annoying question. The restaurant provide wide range of food and after that, you may take free exercise class in the gym. All in all, it is a must try hotel in Seoul.

Good hotel, good service”

Overall a satisfying experience staying in this hotel. We went at peak time due to the various conferences in Seoul and thus there were a lot of guests. The hotel took good care of us even though we arrived early in the morning. The attached spa is quite impressive and worth a visit.

A bit expensive without complimentary club lounge service ( as in evening cocktail etc) But rooms are well cleaned staff are veey helpful. They lent me a thermometer for my girl who was sick.

Overpriced and below expectation services”

Generally facilities are a bit old and building itself feels pretty stuffy with very low ceiling level. Staffs are not as attentive, and their breakfast was a disaster in my opinion compared to other top-tier hotels located in Seoul..

Luxury Hotel.”

I felt the cozy when I stay in the hotel for one night. The room is very super clean and nice. The swimming pool is really good and not so many guests so it's very calm. But there is no restarants or facilities near from hotel, you need to take a taxi.

More like a business hotel”

The stay was ok. I had a short trip to see my long time korean friend. In and out of the hotel took me a lot of time and taxi ride is expensive. The hotel was filled with "high end" local business people. They are coming in and out using the gym, the sauna and the pool. I guess they are living nearby or working in the CBD area. I went to the "Oasis" which is supposed to be the relaxing outdoor pool separated from the two main hotel building. I walked in and all I can see are business people in suit and formal dressed salary man and business people having pool side bbq dinner. The pool is only a gimmick. About the room, it's comfortable and all that, but it's a business hotel look and feel. Nothing makes you relax and feel like home. So all in all, if you are looking for a "banyan tree" or if you are looking for a "resort", this is not the place you want to come.

Good Hardware, NOT convenient”

GOOD hardware in room（steam bathroom, relaxation pool), staff performance is nice but not really good in English, soft service is not the best. not convenient to anywhere, not nearby subway and far from the town. room is not too big and some facilities may missed

Great Experience”

It was a good decision for me and my family to spend two nights in Banyan Tree out of our five night-stay in Seoul. The service was really excellent, and the hotel was flexible to package deals such that we got what we paid for. The room was overlooking the N Seoul Tower and we had a great view of the sunset. The mini pool and steam bath gave us the relaxation we needed after our grueling 3 days of non-stop tour and shopping, right in the privacy of our room! The music was so relaxing, I would love to get a copy of the CD. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is on the staff's knowledge of transportation to N Seoul Tower. Either the staff didn't know that taxis are not allowed to enter the Namsan Park and visitors should take the CNG bus, or they really wouldn't like to suggest public transport to their guests. Overall, we had a happy stay in the hotel. Highly recommended.

beautiful scene, nice in-room spa”

Everything was good. Beautiful garden (garden itself was good, but you can find better feelings when you sit on the bench), nice in-room spa (but if you want hot watered in-room spa, you need to contact to the hotel before you arrive), good city view from my room (the view will be differnt by rooms), great breakfast (you can make your own juice with carrots, apples, oranges), and well-made outdoor swimming pool (although the weather was slightly cold, but me and my wife enjoyed a lot). Unfortunately, two things were disappointed. One thing is the water supply system. When I was took a shower in the shower booth, then my wife started washing her hands at washstand, suddenly hot water became quite a bit colder. I was surprised, and of course, I claimed about it to the front desk staff. The other thing is extra expenses. You should know that prices of everything provided by this hotel is at least tripled - compared with normal prices of Korea.

not worth of money”

It was OKAY. It's not like Banyantree Full Villa in Bintan which means not fantastic. and I did not like the shampoo and body cream at all.. It is not even based on 5 star hotel or SPA standard.. rather budget hotel maybe. what I liked about this hotel is only pool in the room.....that is why i decided to stay..... staffs were nice but It is not worth of money..I do not think I will go again.

Stunning hotel, excellent service and amenities”

We had an absolutely magical night at Banyon Tree. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Our room was incredibly clean, I would say verging on perfection. A heated pool in the room was nice, but not noisy so it didn't effect our sleep at all. The bathroom had a private steam room in the shower, which was nice. This was one of the most amazing rooms I've ever stayed in! I hope I can get back there in the summer when the outdoor pool is open as well so that I can take advantage of the whole resort!

great location, nice view, absolutely fabolous”

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. Facilities were great. Staff were extremely friendly. Room was fantastic. The view from the room was very splendid. Absolutely no complaints about the hotel. Breakfast had a nice variety, very fresh.

This is the second times i try for banyan tree group hotels, this is better than the one i try before at macau.... service was much more better.. i will go again to seoul banyan tree hotel when i be korea...
