Unique architect of the hotel”

We stayed for business trip. It was really worthed to stay there because of the unique architect style of the building. Its all Korean style. We love it. The view is really beautiful because we can see the sea port and sea. However, the staffs cannot speak english very well. But once they understand our body language, they are really helpful. We ask them to find taxi really morning at 5am. They booked us the big taxi that can afford three passengers and 6 bags! Thank you!

Enjoyed a lot the Korean traditional atmosphere hotel”

I brought my Japanese parents and families here, and they loved the atmosphere of whole hotel. The hotel has amazingly well maintained Korean traditional atmosphere even it is in the middle of the big city. And also the room was clean and convenient as modern hotel. The hotel is located 15 min far on foot from Gukje Market area but it is not that hard to take a taxi to there so we didn't feel so inconvenience about location. But the hotel is located on the hill side, if you have big luggage, I recommend you to take a taxi to hotel. Not that far from Busan station.

Good Hotel as a 5-stars !”

Staff is friendly and fine. The location is a little bit far from neighbooring station but it is not impossible to walk to the hotel. Non-smoking room feels like smoking room because it was smoking room before. So I had a little bit trouble in my breath. It can not be helped because of very old hotel. Anyway,it was reasonable 5-stars good hotel ,I think...

I stayed with my brother here while my parents stayed in another room just opposite us. I only joined my family later but I had the check in was very good, and the hotel staff were very friendly and informative, and getting a taxi was easily available. The design of the hotel was unique, and it was quite close by taxi from the busan station. Pretty easy to get to Gukje Market, Gwangbokro and the major attractions in Jung gu. Our check out was very fuss free and efficient too. Would definitely want to stay here again.

the hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. close to 부산역 so it was easy to get there by taxi. nearby there are some family restaurants too, and it's not difficult to take a cab to gukje market for shopping. the hotel room decor was quite antique but nice, and the room was kind of small. however it was quite well-equipped. overall it is a good stay!

Located near shopping district ”

i have stayed with this hotel twice before therefore booking it the 3rd time was normal as it is worth the money. located near a shopping district and some 7 minute walk to the nearest train station everything was easily accessible. not to mention clean rooms and the great service provided, will definitely return when i go back to busan again.

Warm and cozy with an ancient feel”

Commodore hotel is widely known by the taxi drivers and is situated about 10 minutes walk from Busan train station. The rooms are generally clean but the furnishings are a bit old to match the decor. It was quite a comfortable stay. The area is quite hilly but presents a better view from the rooms. It is two stations away from the fish market where you can spend a day going around the market and the local stores which offers pretty much anything you need.

Historical look and feel hotel, great experience”

The hotel retains many of the ancient elements on the exterior and interior lobby. It is very big and spacious to sit around the lobby and enjoy the fast Wifi services on offer. No Wifi in the rooms. Rooms are large but the interior is a bit outdated to retain the historical ancient aspects. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Busan train station and the hotel sits on the high side of the hill. It is easy to get around to other areas of Busan once you reach the train station.

Nice hotel, but poor cost-value-ratio.”

The hotel has a very special architecture and its worth to visit. We had a nice quiet spacious room in the 14th floor with a comfortable bed and a nice view over the city centre. Unfortunately, there was no WiFi in the room, only in the Lobby. No breakfast was included. The staff could hardly speak english. In general the prices for breakfast and menues in the restaurants and drinks/coffee at the bar were very high. From the hotel, its easy to get to the city centre (around 15min walk).

Wonderful hotel with a great staff! ”

Our hotel stay was amazing. The staff did a wonderful job of making us feel right at home. They even upgraded our room to fit a crib for our 2 month old. The only thing I would say about the hotel is not to eat at the Admiral restaurant. Our meal was over $200 for 4 people and I can honestly say it was one of the worst meals I have ever had. We were hoping for a great meal especially at that price. The staff did a great job in making it a great experience however, the food I would compare to cafeteria food if not worse.

Great. The staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. We were on the 15th floor and had an amazing view of the harbor and city. The hotel was super clean and well maintained. A/C worked but only marginally so room was a little warm at night. Could not have asked for a better location. Close to train station (walking distance), museums, harbor, parks, Busan Tower, etc. The Commodore has to be one of the best kept secrets in Busan. Would definitely stay there again. Very good value was an extra bonus.

Good location for Busan”

my 4th stay at this hotel and shortest stay due to nature of business trip. wi-fi in lounge and lobby area works well an is free. internet access in business centre on desktop also speedy and free. wired internet in rooms is expensive. lots of new staff but still helpful at all times. omfortable and good size rooms well serviced. in house dining and drinks are a bit pricey. plenty of options to eat out near by which are cheaper and good quality. close to busan station, market and short taxi drive to good upmarket lotte department store.

was greeted very well by the personnel, arrived a little early and temporarily parking of my baggage was not a problem, checked in a few hours later after my meeting, very nice furnished room, and special the view over the port was nice, had a room on the top floor

One of the really nice hotels in Busan”

The room smelled a little old and funny, but it was big, and so was the bathroom. We found room service food rather expensive (that's the standard around Korea) but it tasted really nice. Room service is awesome as well, and when we asked for extra pillows, they were given with no extra charge. Wifi is only available in the first floor lobby and the hotel is a bit of a walk to the shopping center.

Good out looking and frindly service. we had a very nice vacation here especially they would try to approach customer special request. Unfortunately the location is a little far from metro. If you take taxi is find but inconvenient for metro

Traditional style hotel”

An older hotel that has definitely seen better days. The location is convenient to the main Busan KTX station, which was my primary reason for booking. Made use of the adequate fitness centre. Noted there was also spa/pool facilities but did not utilise these.
