This place is great if you need a decent place close to Winwonders. Their beach is clean and beautiful. The garden has plenty of trees that provide ample shade where you can sit and enjoy the ocean. The room is clean and bright. The staff are very nice and helpful. They bring food directly to your room.

Quiet place for quiet people”
We really enjoiy our time with Gold Sand. The place is secluded with a small, clean beach, and with a bit of Kayaking, you can access Vung Bau beach (most quiet, long and clean beach in the whole entire Phu Quoc Island). Staffs are friendly, food was decent.

Great Beach Location”
This is a wonderful hotel! It is located away from the crowded beaches. They have kayaks, snorkel sets, life jackets, and beach toys available to use. Our kids loved it ! Breakfast was included and amazing. Dinner and lunch options were plenty and they did bbq’s two of our nights. Very reasonably priced food and drinks. Driver at the hotel you can hire for an island tour, to take you wherever you please. There was a boat to charter to take you snorkeling at a nearby island. Staff went out of their way to make sure all were happy. No touts on beach selling things. Construction going on nearby but I believe this is the reality of Phu Quoc and it didn’t bother us at all, save for a crane in the background of our sunset pictures.....Perfect location for a family or a couple wanting to be away from the busy beach areas.

Beautiful clean and quiet beach with a lot of trees for shadow and plenty of chairs, hammock and swings. Everything is kept simple and the staff is very friendly.

The beach is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. The road there makes it tough to just pop out and adventure, but it's doable in a car. Our kids were able to order meals and eat when they liked and we would definitely stay there again.

Super friendly place right on the beach”
Relaxed atmosphere and clean beach just outside the bungalows. The owner and the staff is super friendly and will help you with everything. A perfect place to relax and just eat, drink and swim in the ocean.

Paradise !”
The place is definitely out of town. Exactly like how other travellers had described, the road heading to the cottage has yet to be fully developed, i.e. bumpy and dark at night. However, the place is truly a paradise (with the sea few steps away from the rooms), hence the bumpy and dark road should not be a concern anymore as you wouldn't want to get out of that place. There's free kayak, and snorkelling gears. No night entertainment aside stars glazing, listening to waves or watching TV. It had a restaurant which opens till dinner and the food may not be great but it's edible. Staffs (Linh and Yuen) and the owner were really a gem. Friendly and capable of conversing in simple English. Thanks guyz ! Will definitely return !!

Very nice beach and relaxing place”
Location is a little bit far from city but you can rent a motobike or car from city center to solve it. Owner is very friendly and helpful. If you're seeking a quiet and chilling place, here is the best choice.

A slice of heaven”
We booked 2 days but ended up staying for 4, and never left our little beach. It was perfect. This is not for people looking for night life, you are far away from any form of civilization, a very relaxed atmosphere. The owner and his family are very sweet and attentive. This type of quiet private isolated place is a rare gem to find. Thank you Shon!!!

Well off the beaten path (dirt road that taxis won’t be happy about, make sure to arrange a shuttle), these bungalows certainly don’t have the glitz & glamour of surrounding resorts, but they are a little glimpse into what accomodation on the island used to be like. We rented scooters for a great price, arranged for an old wooden fishing boat to take us snorkeling at Turtle Island, drank some good coffee, a few beers and a million smoothies. Very slow pace so be prepared to take it easy esp if coming from Saigon. Management super sweet and hardworking. No doubt this family business will be squeezed out within a few years so act fast, there is development everywhere, so much rubble, very sad.

Wonderful property, right on the beach front. A bit isolated and part of the road is not in good condition but that makes it even better for a relaxed stay. We just loved it!

Best vacation we've had”
I hesitate to write a review because selfishly I don't want this place to become too popular. The property layout and the rooms right on the beach are just amazing. My kids swam, collected hermit crabs, kayaked all day long. The beach is private to just this resort. Yet, all this pales in comparison to the friendliness of Son Le and his staff. They are the perfect balance of meeting your every need but not being overbearing. The food is made fresh, and is truly excellent, as well as affordable. The road getting to the place is little rough for about 4-5 minutes, but is navigable by scooter. In less than 10 minutes you can be at Vin Wonder which my kids loved. 10 minute boat ride to small island with fantastic snorkeling, even for kids because it is shallow. The laid back feel, views, food and hospitality helped us to have the most relaxing time. I cannot recommend high enough! Especially for families.

My best international stay ”
Don’t think twice! Book this place, it’s absolutely breathtaking. Right on the beach and you have so much privacy!! The owner - Son, is an amazing human and will make sure you have a good stay. We were also fortunate to travel a lot with the hotel driver - Min. He showed us so many places and was a delight. I think I would visit Phu Quoc again just to stay here!! They prepared customised breakfast order for us too.

relax and comfortable resort”
The owner is kind enough offer complimentary pickup from airport to the resort. This is big helps for us, as we had 4 kids travel with us. On the way to the resort, last part of the road condition is bad. But when we arrive at resort, we was welcome by the owner and allow us to check-in without any waiting. Initially we are worry about language barrier, but it is not an issue as most of the staff in the resort can understand English and helpful providing information we are looking. My kids recommend me stay in this hotel again if we have another vacation in this island.
