Great Retreat”
We stayed here for 10 days in February 2020 and were very happy. It is a little far from the hamlet center, but an easy walk, or staff can take you in a golf cart. Very nice sized room with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was a big surprise...huge with an amazing shower! The pool is very nice with lots of loungers. Breakfast was very good with a good mix of western and Asian foods. There are many, many restaurants in the hamlet, about 15 minutes walk from the resort. This is definitely a retreat, so if you’re looking for late night action, this is not it. If you’re looking for a laid back vacation, stay here. The staff at Golden Topaz are unbelievably friendly and gracious. From front desk to cleaners, a delight. We would stay here again and will recommend to friends.

Excellent ”
Everything was perfect! My family stayed for 4 nights and it couldn’t be more satisfied. First of all, the location was great for anyone who are seeking peaceful, the neighborhood was quite and very friendly. Secondly, the room and the bathroom was so huge and everything so comfortable that make you feel like a home after a long day travel. Third, the resorts is full of tree with a lovely decoration and a big pool in the middle area. The moment you step in to this tropical paradise, All your stress will be vanish away. And finally, the services here was excellent! Everybody was friendly, breakfast was delicious and electric car was available anytime for ours demand. In conclusion, this resort was a perfect place for ours vacation.

Beautiful and clean place”
This place is worth its money. Everything is pretty new and very clean. Huge bathroom, big rooms, beautiful and lovely maintained garden with lots of flowers. Breakfast is good. With an own shuttle to the beach and scooter rent service. Meals are not the best but ok and unfortunately too expensive for their quality.

Beautiful place for relaxing ”
The Golden Topaz was our last stop during our three week Vietnam vacation. We were there for a week and we had a great time. We had the king size room and it was a very nice and comfortable stay. The staff is incredibly helpful and very friendly. Thanks for that!

Great!”
Pros: super good pool - big and warm, plenty of toys to play in pool, very big and clean rooms, free shuttle to beach and restaurant areas, very responsive reception staff, everyday cleaning, not in the city. Cons: breakfast is poor, nowhere to dry clothes, shuttle to airport is rather expensive, rental bikes aren't properly maintained, construction in one side which starts 6AM.

Great pool area. Huge comfortable bed. Good air conditioning. Only problem is distance from beach but there is a motorbike rental place directly opposite for those brave enough....about £7 for the day per motorbike.

The staff are very friendly, the space is clean and cozy. Everything is perfect although it is a little bit far from the center, I had a unforgettable honey moon there. Highly recommend to everyone.

Amazing staff and service ”
My friend and I enjoyed our time at Golden Topaz. I would like to praise the staff and their superb effort to try to accommodate all our needs and requests, they went far beyond our expectations! The breakfast is also great but could add a bit more seasonings as it was a tad bland especially on their on the spot omelet making section. The room is clean and they gave us a good spot with an amazing view of the pool. The resort pets were so adorable and we loved them! Little cons though is that the restaurant is only open till 14:00 which is a bit inconvenient, and it’s not located in the city centre which I already assumed and knew but there’s a really nice beach nearby ( Ong Lang Beach ) which they offer free transportation to and from the beach. If you don’t mind the far location then this is the best place, but be aware of the transportation costs you’ll have to spend everytime going to the centre. Overall great experience and would come back again! Cheers!

The room was really big, it was close to the beach, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was very delicious. We have really enjoyed our stay in Golden Topaz.

Very nice little Hotel. ”
Almost new resort, the beach is about 5 minutes by golf car, they take u there and pick you up. The restaurants are about one kilometer away they also drive you there if you want to. The buffet style breakfast is great they have a good choice including an egg and pancake cook. Only thing we didn't like were the bed sheets, they were too small and had no rubber band so after one or two hours we were lying directley on the mattress. Recommended!

Great resort in Ong Lang”
Positives: + very clean hotel, with large rooms and a nice pool, beach towels, toiletries and dressing gowns provided as well as a mini bar. + excellent breakfast, always had bacon, sausages an egg station as well as fresh fruit, juices, tea, coffee, toast and a range of other dishes. + close to the beach with a free shuttle service. + staff on the whole were very helpful and friendly. Negatives: - although this is labelled as a resort, there is only one restaurant which closes at 2pm, so you do have to leave for dinner. - it would be good if there were more activities in the day such as maybe a pool table, darts or board games for guests to use whilst relaxing. - the road this hotel is situated on leads to the worse side of the beach, and there is hardly anything on this road (2 shops and a restaurant). The next road up in Ong Lang has a variety of little restaurants and bars and leads to the nicer part of the beach. - seemed like there was a jacuzzi but didn’t work

Nice little hotel quite far from the good beaches”
The beach near the hotel is incredibly dirty (post-new year trash, but also giant cockroaches). The only other eating option is a small family-run restaurant across the road, a very pleasant one with their own herbs garden and honey-making. The hotel is good for the kids as the swimming pool is quite big and nicely arranged. Breakfast is quite basic. Stay here if you plan to rent a bike and explore the island, otherwise the surroundings may disappoint you.
