Love the Onsen!”
Great view of Mt Fuji when you go for Onsen. The breakfast is delicious with western and local selections. The location is great to have a good view of Mt Fuji but as it is located right at the hilltop, will be best if you are driving.

Spectacular hotel”
Large, beautiful rooms facing Mt. Fuji. The food - buffet breakfast and dinner in The Main Dining - was spectacular. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to and from the Hotel Mt. Fuji entrance bus stop. A wonderful place to stay.

Supreme View ”
At first, I thought this hotel was a little pricey, however the money was well spent as this place offers one of the best views of Mt Fuji and Lake Yamanaka. Two onsens. Restaurant has Japanese, French, and buffet style menus. Overall, We had a wonderful experience.

Mt. Fuji view from our room was amazing. You can clearly see the Yamanakako lake and Mt. Fuji from the balcony. Onsen was great too especially the outdoor ones.

Although quite expensive, the location to see mt. Fuji in your breakfast is perfect. Was able to get the nice seat as I came early. Also they have the shuttle bus they send and fetch the guest by just calling them. Am a lone traveller without car so it was really nice of them to fetch me from yamanonaka bus station even though the only passenger. I love the onsen on the 1st flr and 2nd flr viewing Mt. Fuji! Breakfast was also good! :)

Family size of 4, we booked a Japanese style and western room mix with view of Mount Fuji. It has both indoor and outdoor onsen, outdoor onsen has great view of lake Yamanaka and Mount Fuji. Food option is expensive. Vending machines are available in every floor...

Nice buffet breakfast, you can take trips from the hotel to see Diamond Fuji. A bit far by walking, unless you have a car or contact the hotel to drive you.

Great Hotel but difficult access”
The hotel was awesome. Onsen was superb where you can see closely and direct to Mt. Fuji. They paid attention to your kid's necessity. During dinner in their Japanese restaurant, they set up the table along with cutleries & chair for kid as well, very organized. Breakfast also very good. We took Standard Japanese Western Room and it was very comfortable and spacious. Staffs were polite and helpful. The only problem, hotel location was up on the hill and had difficult access. Once we reached the Iriguchi bus stop, we hv to call the hotel to pick up and wait for 10mins. And there's no access for you to go out from the hotel on foot, you have to use their shuttle bus. No near by mini market and local restaurants. Pick up service from Iriguchi station to hotel was 24 hours but not with service delivery from hotel to bus stop. I expect 4-star hotel like this should hv more buses with wider reach, can drop at recreation areas and provide sightseeing tour for the hotel guests.

Decent hotel but pricing”
Location is ok although difficult to hang out around the lake due to it's up in the hills. At night it's not convenient to go around. The parking lots are big problem, without clear indication and too dark, not comfortable to park at night. Onsen is a bit dissapointed as the space is quite limited although view is good.

As we approached the hotel the outside looked run down so maintainer has to be looked at as it is a hotel in a prime location charging five star money

Isolated location”
Good: 1) Top of hill, great view to lake and Mt. Fuji 2) Great breakfast provided. 3) Big Room Bad: 1) Isolated location, need car to travel down to the hill, if walk probably take 20 mins (But too dangerous to walk as road is narrow). 2) The restaurants in the hotel is over priced, need to call Taxis go down to hill for dinner. 3) The free Spa actually is at outdoor, pretty cold to bath at outdoor before go into Spa. Overall it's too isolated from the lake, and hotel itself nothing to worth stay there 1 day without go out, won't go back again.

Good location and public bath. Impolite staff at front desk and restaurant. Pathetic restaurant menu and quality for both dinner and breakfast.
