Surprised by the lack of hospitality and facilities”
Host was curt and businesslike. We did not feel welcome. He was not helpful and was hesitant to help us with info on our travel plans. There were no exchanges with the host apart from the collection of the fees and serving of breakfast. 5 minutes before checkout, there was a knock on the door to remind us to check out by the check out time of 10am. At 10am sharp, there was another knock on the door and reminder to check out immediately. No kettle in the room. We received much better hospitality everywhere else in the town.

View from the terrace as well as the terrace and garden itself are super fantastic. Definitely worth a visit. However the bottled water in the room was a bit too expensive (€3, which was 3-4 times vs. price in convenience store/mart). There are also some hard steps to climb to reach the hotel, and there was an old guy (who has the host’s contact) to help with suitcases but asked for tip. Would be better if the host could give a heads up even if the tip was acceptable.

Struttura incantevole, molto pulita, gentilissimi i proprietari. Unico neo, non accetta carte di credito, ma è un difetto comune ad altre strutture a Berat.
