Best location and very nice breakfast buffet”
I enjoyed our stay in Ipil Suites and it made our El Nido trip very relaxing. We had a nice big room with surrounding glass windows. The loft is also an exceptional feature. I like how the owner roams around the place in the morning to check on all aspects of the hotel. Feels like home!

My only problem with Ipil Suites is that we requested a double sized bed. What we were given were two single beds joint together. It was uncomfortable. But other than that, we loved the service from the staff, as well as the location. It's near restaurants and the beach. They also clean the room and change towels daily.

I can recommend Ipil Suites 100% for the cleanliness, the bed the blankets are very smell good, the staff is kind, the place is nice etc.. I am very delicate in smell, but this hotel, I love the family room, so comfortable to stay. Oh, the food? Not bad.

Nice location and breakfast was awesome! You have to eat breakfast early because they have limited seats. Great hotel experience but there was one problem, the reception staff failed to note the extra bed that I availed in advance with Agoda. I had to pull up my booking (on the spot) to prove that I already paid for the extra bed.

The Good: 1. Family room (Room 407) is spacious enough for us a family of 6. Nice ambiance. 2. Buffet breakfast is good. 3. Staff is very helpful and friendly. 4. They made us to go snacks (sandwiches, banana and bottle water) since we were checking out before 6 AM. 5. Location is very near restaurants. The Bad: 1. Reservation staff in Manila seems to sleeping in the job. A few days before our check-in inquiries and requests via Agoda private message were not being answered. The Neutral: 1. No elevators. I didn't mind it because I'm a fairly active person. I actually liked it. This might be an issue with senior citizens or people who dislike slight physical challenges. 2. Room 407 had weak air conditioning. But they did compensate for it by offering a new room. 3. No wifi in the rooms only at the lobby. I liked this also. It forced me to disengage with technology and social media which is the purpose of vacation anyway. This may be hard for social media addicts.

Regarding the points you have made about our Manila Reservation, upon checking yes we have saw that your messages from September where answered as soon as possible, but then we failed to response to your message two days prior your arrival due to system error. We usually receive messages from Agoda via our reservation main email but we did not receive the later email, our sincerest apology about this. Regarding elevators, thank you for stating it, for senior citizens guests we keep them informed about lack of elevator and as much as possible give them rooms at the most lower floor. Internet connection is available at the lobby area only and we can't assure strong connection since this is a major concern in whole of El Nido. Experienced was not too bad. Actually, the staff was very friendly and helpful( special mention to Sir Jayson “highly recommended” ka kuya! and Ms. Jinky). They gave us a good stay for 3days/2nights. The room was clean and okay. Buffet was good vs. the price we paid. However, one of the recepcionist “aiza” needs to be more friendly and accommodating, be pleasant at your looks and prioritize the guest who came first not the foreigner next to me! Know your guest request or try to coordinate with other receptionist who assisted us first. All in all, they were okay but not so great.

Our room was located in the lobby (102), and my boyfriend and I had to endure the foul smell coming from the restroom, I think they have sewage problems! The location was great since it’s in the town proper and it’s known by the trike drivers, but the smell was really hard to endure, and I was actually worried that we would get suck. Awesome staff, but it’s better to upgrade on a nicer hotel for better experience.

Disappointing that we had to cancel”
I booked for two rooms with large beds. Upon arrival, my colleague was disappointed that the place has no wifi connection in the rooms as it is limited to the lobby area only. The staff was not sensitive that the guest would want to rest from a long trip. He had requested us to listen to their house rules which he can just give us a copy to read. We requested for rooms in the lower level as there was no elevator - the staff gave us rooms in the third floor. My colleague's room has balcony but the door/window has no lock and we are aware of the recent theft issue in El Nido. To my dismay, upon entering my own room, the large bed is actually two adjoining single beds which when you sleep in the middle portion, you will feel the hard part of the bed for the lack of mattress . We had to find another room and cancelled our booking.

if you're looking for a luxurious hotel with nice facilities, this is definitely not your place. but if you feel like hotel is just somewhere you can take a shower and have a sleep, you would rather spending more time on the beach or the sea, this is definitely the place you're looking for. the best part is its location. you can reach the beach easily. stores, bank, money exchange, and all kinds of restaurants are nearby.

Good base in El Nido”
Had a good stay, right at the heart of the town proper. Fortunately the rolling blackouts in the island didn't bother us (only happened once and it was short). Room comfy with A/C and fan. Cable channels not very satisfying but fair enough. Wifi only available at common area. The breakfast buffet was very good!

The staff there at Ipil were "sobrang mabayet" - too kind to us, especially to our mokolet son, who demanded (and got) so much from them. Including a free going away ice cream cone from the front desk staff. I wish we could have given them a "10" rating! Our hats are off to them all.

came from a 5 day boat expedition and the first thing I wanted to do upon check in was to take a hot shower. Had to take a shower across the street on hotel’s sister property Plumbing broken , no hot water, and stall doesn’t drain well when I was told it was already fixed. Breakfast is uneventful. Customer service could be better .

Room was clean and comfy enough. Water refill stations were on each floor. Breakfast was varied each day and nicely managed. Staff were very helpful. The only bummer in this hotel is the wifi is only available in the lobby. Besides that, it's a great value.

PROS: - More than helpful desk & cleaning staff for tour bookings etc. - Convenient location to hop onboard ferry to Coron (<4 minutes walk) - It’s literally behind a few good (affordable!) restaurants. Got to try the Happiness Express. - Central location to all the things you want to eat/do. CONS: - If you are a picky eater, then you might not enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet

Compared to the options you have in el nido which are very few, expensive and old, this is a good option. Well located, clean, breakfast included, quite nice room. For us it was the best hotel we stayed in filipines (we were not very lucky in our selection of hotels..)

We didn't spend much time at the room with exploring the Island and Island hopping however, the rooms were fit for purpose and the breakfast was fine. The wifi is awful but it is pretty much the same all across El Nido, best place for wifi is definitely Gusto (gelato place). Also, there is a lot of building works next to the hotel which commenced around 5am so bring ear plugs! I liked that there was a free water tank in the communal space to fill your water bottles.

Not too many great options to choose from in El Nido, unless you are looking at El Nido Resorts. Ipil Suites in El Nido is a great budget option with the perfect location. I wish the cleanliness of the rooms, Wi-Fi speed (and reliability) & facilities were a little better. Has the potential to be a great budget hotel in the centre of El Nido.
We had a good stay for 4 nights and 5 days”
We were a big group of 12. The hotel accommodated tours as well. Family room has a high bed aside from 2 double beds. Ask though as there are family rooms good for 4 and good for 6 - both of which is priced the same. Would definitely book ipil if we get to go back to el nido.
Upgrade to get a view”
Not all rooms have a terrace or a good view so if thats what you are after please make sure to call the hotel and ask for it. wifi and cable is dependent on rain and wind. if the weather is bad, expect no wifi and no cable.
