Amazing”
This is truly a five star resort. starting from location, the resort is situation on a hill facing the sea. The architects did a wonderful job of blending the geography with facilities and the buildings do not spoil the beautiful environment they are located in.The service is very good. Eager ushers wait for you at the jetty as you arrive on the island and you are quickly taken to the resort where the service is excellent.They also provide a free shuttle service ( 3 times a day) to go downtown should you want to see what the rest of the world looks like! The restaurant is not only a fabulous piece of architecture -in my humble opinion- but offers great fare too. One word of caution, some of the rooms require tackling many steps as they are located across the hillface so you need to be in good health for the unexpected exercise - but I think there's a hotel block as well so check where you prefer to locate.

3 Thumbs Up Recommendations for Jamahkiri Resort ”
Jamahkiri Resort is such a gorgeous resort which took our breath away. It is definitely an Instagram worthy resort. We were in the Ocean view suite and it had a beautiful view of the ocean and Shark Bay. We had a private access to the beach, and you can snorkel right at the resort. If you want too, the free taxi boat can give you a lift to nearby areas for snorkeling or freediving. We saw lotta fishes and marine animals. The staffs were extremely helpful and very accommodating. Be prepared for lotta stairs climbing to get to your room. It was a great fat burner for us. The resort is located in the South and it’s a distance to the town/pier area. There were free shuttle rides from the resort to Mae Haaser pier. You can also hire a private taxi for 500-600 THB or rent a motor bike to get to the resort. However, as the mountain roads are very steep and rocky, it’s would be dangerous to drive in the night.

This is really an example of a great hotel ,perfect 2 bedroom villa with amazing sea view , clean and super modern ,yes you will feel welcome there...as someone who visit 5 stars hotels every month for work or pleasure i was so amazed how the reception stuff were so kind and welcoming , in this pandemic period they just did the best you can ever expect ...i can say that it was a perfect visit ..great place to spend 4 days vacation...i will be back...

Beautiful property ”
Very scenic view overlooking Shark Bay. Minor issue with our bungalow so they moved us to another even better bungalow while they resolved it. We stayed most of our 5 days in this upgraded bungalow until the next people needed it. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to assist. Please note this property is beautiful and scenic and is on many levels on the cliffs overlooking the bay. You will need to be comfortable with lots of stairs. If you are then this property is perfect for you

Wonderful experience ”
This is the best hotel in which I have stayed on Koh Tao. My room was very spacious and immaculately clean with a wonderful sea view. Great facilities and a great restaurant offering a wonderful panoramic view of the coast. Finally, all the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Will definitely stay here again and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Would highly recommend this place”
The hotel has a very nice territory and views across the Shark bay. While it may be difficult for some visitors to walk stairs up and down, this is the same for most of Koh Tao hillside hotels, and we loved this very much. The staff was friendly, the food in the hotel restaurant was good and for the reasonable price. This was our 3rd time on Koh Tao, and it was the best one, partly because of calm weather and partly because the hotel choice was great.

Breathtaking view: 10/10 for modern architecture”
The room is big and comfortable, the pool is clean and the rooms are located just in front of the ocean and the view if breathtaking. Famous spot for snorkeling Shark's bay is 200 feet from this property

We had a lovely view of Shark Bay from our room and enjoyed the facilities, restraints nf and snorkeling. The drop-off service at the pier after check-out was a nice touch. Staff members helped us load/unload our bags and receive our tickets from the ferry company. My only request would be for more shuttles to and from town throughout the day/evening for visitors without motor bikes.

This hotel is perfect”
The view is stunning, rooms are nice and well maintained, the staff is very friendly and happy to help with nay request, the restaurant is good, the snorkeling is amazing (I saw a giant turtle!) They so have shuttles to the pier 3 times a day which is very convinient if you don't drive a bike.

Perfect för relaxed snorkeling”
Jamahkiri is a wonderful hotel for us keen snorkellers. In the eleven days we spent here, we came across (and photographed) big turtles, reef sharks and -- when going on a trip with the resort's boat -- a whale shark, which was close to us and slowly cruising along. The restaurant is excellent, with a great variety of international and Thai food, which means that there are few gastronomical reasons to go to other places of Koh Tao. Very friendly and helpful staff. This is really one of the best hotel stays we have ever experienced.

Diving course at the resort”
We've booked a 3 days padi course and stayed here for 7 nights. We really enjoyed our stay here and the resort have the most beautiful view ever. Private beach to snorkel. You do need a bike to move yourself around. Taxi's are a bit expensive. The staff were really nice and made our stay really special.

The resort itself was beautiful, room was lovely and clean, amazing view, great pool and right by the beach. We did the diving course it was fantastic. The majority of the staff were excellent however the restaurant left little to be desired. Definitely not suitable for anyone vegan or with an egg allergy - there was extremely little on offer to eat. The staff regularly got our orders wrong and the food was very overpriced for what it was. However overall we had an amazing few days at Jamahkiri.

Time for reflection and diving”
The place is quite remote at Ko Tao, however the hotel has all needed facilities and a great restaurant. The divecenter had an amazing crew and was using top-quality equipment, which was quite a change from the usual.
