The hotel is probably the very first hotel when you enter city of Petra. Meaning if you want to go to center of the town, you probably need to take a cab for another 3 mins. The outside and lobby looks big and nice, however our standard room is small and a little old. If it isn't for the price i'd recommend a more city centre hotel in Petra.

First, let me clarify something, although this is a great hotel, it is not a luxury one; but I hope thats not what you are expecting from a hotel in this area. The hotel is very comfortable, the staff are friendly. We had our room incorrectly offered to us as a twin (rather than double) but they gave us a double suite once we informed them. The place is busy, full of people from various different tours of Petra. The showers are very adequate with good water pressure. There is wifi, a bar, and a restaurant. The choice of food is very limited for breakfast, and dinner but then again, you havent come here for food, you've come top see petra! Petra is about 10min taxi ride away which is not bad. Overall, I would highly recommend this place, looking at other hotels in the area, this is one of the top 3-4 large ones that exist. The prices are not cheap but again, even the local restaurants in the nearby town/village are expensive compared the same in London/Dubai/etc! Its a very historical tourist site, where you are expected to spend a little more!
