DONT USE QR CODE TO PAY FOR CAR PARK”
Booking, location and staff reception was great, very polite and helpfull to accomodate us a little bit before the usual check in time. The room was cosy and the bed comfortable with good cleningness standards. The ability to park near the hotel at a competitive rate was one of the factors why i chose this hotel. However on arrival i was asked to scan the QR code at reception to complete car park payment within 10 mn. There was something unusual when i scanned it, and took me to a site hjumpbill, which was trying to force a membership log in. i tried to cancel and explained it to the staff, and was able to pay for the car park by other means. I noticed the next day that £1 had been debited from my card from that site and i then had a message from my bank stating they stopped a scam subscription of that side for £59.99, which was a well known hacker company. i comfirm ed the above and spend 15mn explaining everything until all the moneys were creditted, and i was advised that they may target my account again in the future. WARNING TO HOTEL AND ALL CUSTOMERS, DO NOT PAY FOR THE CAR PARK USING THE QR CODE AT RECEPTION - ITS HACKED.

We have had this checked over with our parking company and there appears to be no issues, but we thankyou for bringing this to our attention. Can i request that you check if there may be an unwanted malicious programme downloaded to your device which may have an impact when you scan QR codes from your device. Hotel is in a perfect location, close to good transport links to explore the rest of the city, and with lots of shops, restaurants and bars close by. The rooms are compact, but clean and have everything you need. Bed is comfortable but would like an extra pillow. Particularly liked you could open the windows for fresh air. Staff are cheerful and friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The location is spot on. The room we got was basic, small and a little noisy. However, the bed was huge and comfortable and adequate for one night. The breakfast was really nice. Lots of choice including, honey, nuts and freshly cut fruit which is always a plus. I didn't take any cooked breakfast items but these seem to be available. The tea/coffee area could do with being rethought as it can become clogged up just by one person preparing tea. If there was an extended area, then others could help themselves rather than waiting for the one person to finish preparing their tea. Also, I thought it was a bit cheeky to ask for £20 for early check in! Never had that before! In other words, your room could be available earlier, but only if you pay up? As far as value for money is concerned, all things considered, it was a bit overpriced even though we booked months in advance and would have been much more expensive had we booked nearer the time.

The room was very small but comfortable and adequate for us. All the staff seemed super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent! We would recommend this hotel.
