“Comfortable Stay with Great Views, but Service Management Needs Improvement”
I recently stayed at the Montien Riverside Hotel Bangkok and had a generally pleasant experience. The room was very clean, comfortable, and offered a wonderful view overlooking the river, which added to the overall enjoyment of my stay.
The hotel's service was commendable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. On my final day, due to an early flight, I requested to have breakfast just 7 minutes before the scheduled opening at 6:00 am. The breakfast service staff were exceptionally kind and allowed me to start early.
However, a few minutes into my breakfast, an incident occurred that somewhat marred my experience. I overheard a woman loudly reprimanding the breakfast staff, asserting that allowing guests to dine before the official opening was unacceptable and against the rules. The public nature of this reprimand was uncomfortable, especially since the staff had shown kindness in accommodating my early request.
Overall, my stay was enjoyable, though the management could benefit from addressing such incidents with more discretion and consideration for both guests and staff.

We stayed here for 5 nights and felt very comfortable. The hotel staffs are all very helpful and hospitality. The beds are comfortable, the room is spacious. We walked over to the mall ( terminal 21) every day. It's super cute and well-decorated. If we want to go anywhere further the hotel offered a shuttle van, dropping us off at the BTS station. Breakfast food is good but not well displayed like in the past ( before Covid). Overall we enjoyed our stay at Montien Riverside and will come back again.

ล็อบบี้น่าประทับใจ ต้องมาเห็น สวยงามแน่นอน โรงแรมได้รักษาส่วนภายในเดิมตั้งแต่สร้างในช่วงปี 70 ตึกภายนอกไม่ค่อยสวย ต้องการการทาสีและทำให้หน้าต่างสะอาด ห้องมีอ่างอาบน้ำขนาดต่างประเทศที่สวยงามและการตกแต่งภายในที่น่าทึ่งตั้งแต่ตอนที่โรงแรมเปิดครั้งแรก น่าประทับใจและสวยงามมาก! อาหารเช้าดีแต่ไม่ยอดเยี่ยม (แค่มุมมองส่วนตัวของฉัน) ความใส่ใจในรายละเอียดจากพนักงานร้านอาหารยังขาดอยู่เล็กน้อย ช้อนกาแฟไม่พอ หมดทุกเช้าก่อน 9:30 น. มีเครื่องชงกาแฟเพียง 1 เครื่อง ทำให้ต้องรอนิดหน่อยในช่วงอาหารเช้า สระว่ายน้ำสวยและมีห้องอาบน้ำ/ซาวน่า/ตู้ล็อคเกอร์ขนาดใหญ่ใกล้ๆ ไม่เคยเห็นอะไรใหญ่ขนาดนี้มาก่อน ทำเลที่ตั้งของโรงแรมยอดเยี่ยม เดิน 5 นาทีจากห้างสรรพสินค้าเทอร์มินัล 21 สบายกระเป๋าในการพักที่นี่ ขอแนะนำ! ด้านลบ: โรงแรมอนุญาตให้แท็กซี่มาเฟียจอดอยู่ตรงข้ามทางเข้าของที่จอดรถหลัก แน่นอนว่าคนขับจะไม่เปิดมิเตอร์และอาจโกงคุณ หลีกเลี่ยงให้ได้มากที่สุด เรียกแท็กซี่ด้านนอกบนถนนหลัก มีแท็กซี่ที่วิ่งผ่านโรงแรมจำนวนมาก แค่ให้มั่นใจว่าคุณมีปลายทางเขียนไว้บนกระดาษเป็นภาษาไทยที่แผนกต้อนรับ เพราะคนขับแท็กซี่ไทย 99% ไม่สามารถพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ แผนกต้อนรับอาจเรียกเจ้าหน้าที่รักษาความปลอดภัยเพื่อเรียกแท็กซี่จากแท็กซี่หลัก แต่กรุณาอย่าเข้าไปในแท็กซี่ที่จอดอยู่ตรงข้ามทางเข้าหลัก/ที่จอดรถของโรงแรม (คนขับแท็กซี่มักจะเดินเข้าไปหาแขกของโรงแรมที่กำลังออกจากล็อบบี้เพื่อดึงดูดให้เข้ารถเขา) ในเขตของโรงแรม นี่คือมาเฟียแน่นอน หลีกเลี่ยง!
